I write this particular blog entry in A few days ago I was dismayed to discover that transgender activist Andrea James has been invited to speak at Northwestern University, where I work. Although Ms. James and I appear to be on the same page in terms of believing in the rights of transgender children and adults, her methods are repulsive to me.

Ms. James was one of many transgender women who were deeply offended by Michael Bailey’s 2003 book, The Man Who Would Be Queen. But Ms. James was notable for the way she decided to go after Bailey’s children to extract revenge. She posted on the internet photographs of Bailey’s daughter and labeled her a “cock-starved exhibitionist.” James also claimed in her online publications that there “are two types of children in the Bailey household,” namely “those who have been sodomized by their father [and] those who have not.”

Even though Ms. James’s actions were not directed at me, as a scholar who works on sex and politics, I found myself deeply intimidated by Ms. James’s actions. Because of Ms. James’s behavior, I became afraid of the ways in which I might be putting my own family at risk by the work I do advocating for intersex rights.

This was especially ironic since Ms. James’s colleagues—transgender activists whom I knew through my intersex work—actually wanted me to help them critique Dr. Bailey’s work. But I became afraid enough of opening myself to this kind of attack (which I risk all the time from the right) that Ms. James was effectively working to silence me, too.

I know Ms. James claims that she is simply doing what she has to do to be an effective defender of children and an advocate for sexual minorities. Well, I have been a strong defender of children and an advocate for sexual minorities, and I have no patience for her techniques. They are brutalizing and ineffective, and indeed backfire. She lost a lot of potential supporters (like me) with her idiotic methods.

By allowing her to speak on our campus, her student hosts are essentially saying that her tactics—of intimidating others, including by attacking their families—represent an appropriate political or scholarly reaction. I strongly disagree.

I want to make clear I am not saying Ms. James does not have the right to speak. What I am saying is that I don’t think we should be putting our university’s good name near her. I would feel the same way were someone to be interested in, say, inviting a neo-Nazi to speak on campus. I would defend that person’s right to speak but I certainly wouldn’t enable or support their speech.

When I raised this objection to a Northwestern colleague whose department I mistakenly thought was co-sponsoring Ms. James’s visit, he responded “I support Northwestern students in gathering knowledge about sex and sexuality from many points of view.”

My answer to him was this:

“I support students critically gathering knowledge about sex and sexuality. I hardly think there is any point in hearing from folks like Fred Phelps, nor do I think it makes any sense to invite Andrea James. It seems to me the method matters as much as the message, and there are some people whose methods we simply should not support.

“It’s clear from looking at Ms. James’s productions that she is much more invested in self promotion than her alleged cause [the most repetitive lament in her work is that Bailey didn’t consult or cite her] and I wish the students [inviting Ms. James] could see that and realize there are far better choices [see the end of this post] if they want to hear from a leading transgender advocate. As a sex/gender scholar, and as a person who has for years advocated for the rights of transgender children and adults, I’m quite disappointed to see someone who has viciously intimidated scholars and so harmed the cause of transgender rights being welcomed.”

After working nine years as a leader in the Intersex Society of North America, I can say from experience there are much more ethical and effective alternatives to Ms. James’s methods. One of the reasons I stuck with ISNA was because its founder, Cheryl Chase, shared with me high standards of scholarship and activism. In the long run, this is the way to win your cause. Ms. James and all those who choose to associate with her have obviously not learned this.

I suppose now I risk the wrath of Andrea James, a woman who seems unable to control herself when challenged. Ah well, maybe getting attacked by the right and the alleged-left will leave me in a moment of zen. I just hope she keeps her words off my kid. (Defender of children, my ass.)

P.S. Several readers have asked me who I would recommend if they were interested in inviting a transgender activist/advocate to their campus to speak. Lots of great folks spring to mind, but let me here recommend four: (1) historian and filmmaker Susan Stryker, Ph.D. whose documentary, Screaming Queens: The Riot at Compton’s Cafeteria recently won an Emmy; (2) Marcus de Maria Arana, Discrimination Investigator and Mediator for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission (SFHRC); Marcus has provided LBGT issues training for police departments, has worked to support Native American Two-Spirit people like himself, and was the chief author of the SFHRC’s report on the medical “normalization” of intersex people; (3) clinician and scholar Anne Lawrence, M.D., Ph.D. whose work has focused on improving healthcare for transgender women like herself; (4) Jamison Green, writer/speaker/activist extraordinaire.

A follow-up on my encounter with Andrea James

I write to report what I’ve learned from my encounter with transgender activist Andrea James which began about a month ago with my objecting to her being invited to speak at my university. I’ll focus here particularly on what I’ve learned about censorship, self-censorship, and autogynephilia.

On May 13, I posted a blog on my personal website objecting to the invitation of Ms. James to Northwestern University, where I work. (See above.) My major objection to Ms. James being invited concerned her abuse of Michael Bailey’s children in her campaign against his work. In response to my blog, I heard from many transgender people and sex/gender scholars some of whom are also transgender.

I also heard from Ms. James herself who unfortunately lived down to my expectations by sending me obnoxious emails including threats. Some people have asked me whether these were really threats. Let me say they were threatening enough that I sent the mail on to my dean, who sent it on to university counsel, who asked me to let the police know about our concerns. I am not bothering to post what she wrote since I see no point in spreading what amounts to rhetorical toxins. Let me just say that her choice of the admonition “Bad move, mommy” suggested she is still interested in dragging people’s children (including now my own) into her intimidation tactics. Her further reference to my five-year-old son as my “precious womb turd” also suggested that she is astonishingly juvenile.

From talking with other people who have contacted me these last few weeks, I have learned that Ms. James has helped a number of transgender women over the years by teaching skills and pride. I learned this not directly from those she has helped, but rather from fellow critics of Ms. James who made a point of emphasizing this to me. She has also, however, harmed some transgender women. This has happened both directly and indirectly: directly by intimidating and sometimes outright silencing (by removing from internet discussions) transgender women who disagree with her; and indirectly by her venomous attacks on people like Michael Bailey, Anne Lawrence, Ray Blanchard, and lately myself, which have led some people to erroneously conclude that this behavior is somehow representative of transgender women. (I have quickly corrected this idea anywhere I’ve encountered it.)

I have also learned that some of the transgender women who disagree with Ms. James accept the theories set forth by Bailey, Blanchard, and Lawrence and see themselves as “homosexual transsexuals” or “autogynephilic transsexuals.” They find that these theories and labels fit their experiences and self-identities. But Andrea James doesn’t want to hear about their experiences or self-identities. This is strange at best and ironic at worst, since in 1998 Ms. James sent Anne Lawrence an email in which she praised Lawrence’s paper on autogynephilia as “excellent” and said she “found many of [Blanchard’s] observations to be quite valid, even brilliant.” Further, while she said she didn’t agree with all of Blanchard’s theories, she agreed enough with the idea of autogynephilia to tell Lawrence “your paper backs up my own experiences….I readily admit to my own autogynephilia.”

Ms. James is, of course, entitled to change the way she thinks about herself. Indeed, she told me in an email that she no longer thinks of herself the way she did when she wrote that email to Lawrence in 1998. Fine. But what is problematic is her profound unwillingness to let other transgender women describe themselves as they wish without being harassed, intimidated, and abused.

Universally the people who wrote to me about Ms. James asked me not to use their names publicly. This demonstrates, I am sorry to report, that Ms. James’s methods of intimidation are effective. Indeed, she has effectively censored people to the point of causing them to engage in self-censorship. After my experience with her, I understand their choice; nevertheless, I find this depressing and frustrating because I think it sets back both transgender rights and sex research. Mostly I am disappointed that so many people—whether they be transgender people, sex researchers, or both—do not think it is safe to speak publicly about who they really are and what they really think.

This temporary form of hair removal will rob woman of their youth. Nothing will make a woman look older than coarse unwanted chin hair, upper lip and neck hairs. When you pluck, tweeze, thread and wax hairs its rips the root from the blood supply and the germinative parts of the root shatter in little pieces while your blood nourishes the damaged root. Thus you will get 2, 3 or 4 shattered hairs for one plucked hair in addition your roots will become curved, distorted and tougher to treat.

In the beginning when your hairs were fine on your chin, upper lip, face and neck it did not bother you. However when your hairdresser recommended waxing those hairs you said yes. Later on two to three years later you have noticed your hairs have become darker, coarser and thicker and has upset you your appearance to the point you are frustrated. The absolute worst part is that your same hairs keep getting darker, coarser and thicker and the size of the area you had originally removed your unwanted hairs have doubled and triple in size to the point it covers your whole face with a coarse beard. Then of course you roots have become deeper more distorted each and every time you thread, pluck, tweeze and wax your face your unwanted hair problem gets worse and it becomes more painful to thread, tweeze, pluck and wax. Well I was different and while a resident of Massachusetts I was fortunate to have attended and graduated from Miss Kelly’s School Electrology in Quincy, Massachusetts. From 1976 to December of 1979 I worked my way through school while attending Miss Kelly’s School Electrology. That meant I worked from 70 to 80 hours per-week work including schooling. It was hard work but gratifying. To graduate I had to successfully pass a 2 Hour Written Examination of Scientific Theory with a One Hour Practical Examination. My Scientific Theory included 500 required Hours of Endocrinology, Histology, Biology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Electricity, Physiology, Sterilization and Sanitation. In addition we were required to complete 600 Hours of Practical Training under the supervision of the licensed registered electrologist instructors Diana Kelly and Lila Kelly.

In essence Andrea James has no peer when it comes to hurting other peoples feelings to ridicule and deformation. It’s a shame that all Andrea James is capable of is taking pleasure in hurting others peoples feelings which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt she is a cruel fiend who will hurt other peoples feelings for cheap gratuitous pleasure. So ultimately Andrea James claim to fame is her three month course in satire so she could improve her ability to hurt other peoples feelings. Now that’s what you call a true blue unrepetent sociopath. To this very day Andrea Refuse to prove and publish a copy of her diploma from the University of Chicago, tsk, tsk, her non-stop lies says what a loser she is.

Andrea James is having one Temper Tantrum after another and this times she is constantly crying, “Why does everyone hate her?” All because other people quote her constant lies. Well it’s quite apparent that Andrea James has a warped sociopathic thought process! After graduating in 1989 Andrea claimed she obtained an M.A. in English the language and literature from the University of Chicago however Andrea James steadfastly refuses to publish her diploma because she got caught lying like a rug.

The clueless Andrea James imagines herself to be Ms. Transsexual America however in reality she is the Internets degenerate hypocrite that thinks her use of cyber stalking and theft of my intellectual property is acceptable behavior?

However Andrea flunks when it comes to being a human being because she resorts to her fascist ways of being rude, crude, foul and offensive, insensitive and in essence she is a cruel heartless no account who thinks she can steal her way to success at other people expense.

On the other hand Andrea James totally fails as human being because she cannot think, feel or act like a normal caring person.

Look at her writing she has no compassion, she has no heart and she totally shuns and blocks any and all good feelings of sensitivity and emotion. Fact look at her writing skills and you will learn that Andrea has a limited vocabulary because her favorite words are I me and myself and the F word. Her attitude is the hell with everybody else’s feeling and rights all because she is a lonely miserable wretch incapable of being happy. Well girls what Andrea James is really saying is that she has hit rock bottom and she lives in a vast bottomless vat of miserable self imposed loneliness and she desperately wants anyone’s company to share her misery.

Well girls, we all have heard this old story before and beyond a shadow of doubt Andrea James has exiled herself as an outdated frozen frigid lonely woman who is incapable of expressing a sliver of love and compassion.

Folks take a close look at her websites where she is always screaming for attention because her life is lonely and she has told everybody on the “Internet” a million times plus how beautiful, smart and wonderful she is. Her inability to talk about pleasant subject matter is completely absent and most obvious. She claims to be a “Consumer Advocate and that she alone champions the Trans community but if you read her comments” about others and how she runs her sisters into the ground because of jealousy and without one doubt her double standard trademarked attack mode her perverse use of cruelty with a twisted her mind. Andrea James thinks that being a bitch will win her respect and admiration in the Trans Community. Andrea James is the Boss Hog of the Transgender Community for she refuses to talk about her shady laser parlor operators and non-licensed third-rate uneducated non-licensed electrologists on Tsroadmap.com hairtell.com and hairfacts.com that pay her bribes for referrals.

Andrea James fantasizes she is the only Transbitch in the world that has been discriminated against. Fact she refuses and has deliberately ignored and failed to respect all Transwomen who fought have rampant prejudice, discrimination and bigotry long before her. Andrea James steals everyone’s thunder and lightning to generate the electricity for her 24/7 “Propagandist Style” look at me limelight about her dismal accomplishments that are over shadowed by her fuel injected super charged motor mouth telling everyone how great she is. Andrea James is a self-intoxicating attention seeking glutton-hound who can never get enough on the other hand she says her most notable accomplishment in her life was her keynote speech at the American Electrology Association where she lectured to 300 non-licensed uneducated electrologists. Should we be impressed? Her key note speech was about scams and shams however she never talks about the real villains like herself and the shady laser parlor operators and non-licensed crooked electrologists on her scam ridden website Hairtell.com were the moderator robbed almost ten-thousand dollars from a client who flew from Germany to have treatment with James Walker VII CPR.

Of course Andrea James owner of Hairtell.com believes her own lies and she refuses to return the money she split with James Walker VII CPE!!! This proved Andrea James is a liar, cheat and thief. By the way Andrea James refuses to compensate German Girl for almost $10,000 United State Dollars paid in advance to James Walker VII CPE who is an uneducated non-licensed electrologist who was the moderator of Hairtell.com who skipped town with the loot without providing professional services. For your information 99% of the electrologists on Hairtell.com are uneducated non-licensed electrologists with little or no training. This is why it happened because Andrea James and her moderator James Walker VII CPE used it for scams because of letting James Walker VII CPE and his uneducated non-licensed electrologists to rob, steal and cheat consumers. Can you imagine how long it took for German Girl to work for and save that much money? To this day the money has not been returned and we have to ask Andrea James owner of Hairtell.coms why she has not returned the money?

For me, Hairtell was an endorsement of electrologists. This was especially true of James W. Walker VII, who is the moderator of Hairtell. Walker is “Hairtell itself!” My reasons for posting the following is to describe how terribly wronged I have been by this unscrupulous person. Clients beware and NEVER give your money up-front. I have learned a terrible lesson.

Below is a copy of my complaint filed with the New York Attorney General as well as a link to photos taken of his establishment?

COVER STATEMENT:

I am a young woman from Germany. I entered an agreement with James Walker of Buffalo, New York, to receive electrolysis treatments. I pre-paid for my treatments and for a guest room he provides. The conditions of his establishment are appalling. Because of these hazardous conditions, I terminated my schedule with him.

Although I am now “out” $6,000, my primary goal in filing with the State of New York is to have some authority look into this establishment. The conditions I will be explaining are a significant threat to the Health & Safety of the public.

BACKGROUND:

The AMA (American Medical Association) classifies ELECTROLYSIS as an electro-surgical procedure to remove (human) hair permanently. The procedure involves inserting a sterile needle into each hair follicle (skin’s full-depth). An electric current is applied, via the needle, and blood vessels and stem cells in the skin and follicle are destroyed.

Understanding the potential risks of serious infection (e.g., hepatitis and HIV), the American Electrology Association worked with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) to establish Rules and Regulations for electrolysis procedures. These Rules have become standard and enforceable in the profession. My claim is centered on the extremely filthy conditions I encountered at the following electrolysis business, and my legitimate concerns about contracting an illness as a result.

JAMES W. WALKER VII, doing business as: “EXECUTIVE CLEARANCE”:

I contacted James W. Walker VII, though the internet site, www.hairtell.com. We agreed on my arrival time from Germany to Buffalo, NY, for electrolysis treatments for a period of two weeks. Walker has a “guest room” at his office that he rents to patients, and I agreed to stay in this room. Per his requirements, I pre-paid him the sum of $8400 for treatment (84 hours), and $560 for staying in his guest room (Total: $8960.) I completed 25 hours of treatment.

CONDITIONS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT:

Arriving at Walker’s establishment, I was horrified to see the conditions. He showed me to my room, and it was a disaster. The sheets on the unmade bed had been slept in and the room smelled of human odor and mold. There was so much clutter in the room that it’s a firetrap. I did not see any smoke detectors or fire extinguishers. There were electrical wires hanging from the ceiling, holes in the walls and mold on the walls.

The bathroom was horrendous. The toilet had not been flushed or cleaned. There was black mold on the walls. The scummy tub contained old used dried-out towels. Soiled towels were all over the filthy bathroom floor.

I did not stay there and went, instead, to a hotel. I was very upset, but since I had already paid for my treatments, I decided to try to overlook the mess and start treatment. I eventually could not tolerate the conditions and walked away from having any further treatments. (There were other issues with Walker, but the extreme filth is my primary complaint.) I later discovered that electrologists are required to sterilize their instruments such as forceps (tweezers). There was no sterilization mechanism to be seen. The forceps he used on me were left out on the dirty bathroom sink and used on me every day (see photo). One time, he dropped the forceps on the dirty floor, picked it up and continued working on me. Electrologists are required to place fresh cloth or paper towels on the treatment table for each client. The sheets that Walker used were badly soiled and had definitely been used with other clients (the smell and stains). He never changed the coverings!

Wearing latex gloves is standard in the practice. Indeed, Walker wore gloves, but he wore the same pair all day long. He would drive his car with these gloves, return to the office and start working on me without changing these gloves (even after using the toilet or taking his many breaks). Whether or not the State becomes involved in my individual case, I hope that an appropriate agency will look into the DANGEROUS conditions of this establishment, for the Health & Safety of the public. I am not familiar with American laws, but such a filthy MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT would not be legal in Germany.

Please look at my photos and the attached descriptions. These photos were taken surreptitiously because there are “security cameras” located (and hidden) throughout the establishment. I was very uncomfortable because I had no idea when and where I was being videotaped.

My Experiences and Lectures at Harvard Medical School From 1983-1987

Fact and for the record my experiences as a guest lecturer at Harvard Medical School from 1983 to 1987 where interesting to say the least. As a member of the Trans-Community I would like to make everyone aware that on June 15, 2011 James Walker VII CPE using an assumed name called my office asking for an immediate appointment on that same day. Because my appointment book was full I had no openings so I asked him to let me have his phone number and I would call him back and using the name John he replied, “I will call you back”. I checked the (602) phone number on my Caller ID but it was a spoofed and fake phone number that did not exist. On the next day June 16th, 2011 at 11:30 Mr. James Walker VII CPE arrived at my office without an appointment and he skulked his way into my office and unknowingly triggering my security door chime and sat down on a chair in my waiting room. I walked out and before I spoke one word the first words out of James Walker VII CPE’S big mouth were, “I am here for my free complimentary 15 minute treatment”. I replied to him, “I have a patient and you do not have an appointment however to be polite I gave him my card and pointed him towards the door and said OUT”. Mr. Walker was wearing his do-rag and was attired in a green US Army fatigue jacket and underneath he wore a heavy polyester football shirt with number seven on it. Mr. Walker begrudgingly headed towards the door; he gave me a hateful glare while he silently mouthed the F-word as he exited my office and said, “I’ll kill you”. Mr. Walker was quite overheated and dressed way too warm and it was obvious that he had been drinking all night and I think our hot weather in Phoenix was too much for him. However, I offered him the key to the mens room to freshen up a bit considering that his body odor was rank to say the least and its obvious he does not bathe on a regular basis .After he left I remember looking into Mr. Walkers eyes and you could see his seething burning hatred and he came close to losing it. Without one doubt James Walker, entered my office to cause trouble and most likely to assault me and cause me physical harm considering that two years prior I warned him never to enter my office.

One has to think for a moment that Mr. James Walkers all consuming hatred compelled him to fly all the way from Buffalo, New York to Phoenix, Arizona and his partner in crime and the Vida Delic who drove his getaway car. Because of his hatred James came close to losing control of his temper… He has broken the law and trespassed at my office to cause harm, and this how James Walker,NLE sets an example and demonstrates how a non-licensed electrologist should behave? If Mr. James Walker and his driver Vita Delic. NLE make another attempted unscheduled visit to my office both of them will be arrested by the Scottsdale Police for trespassing and both of them will become guests of Sheriff Joe at “Tent City” in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. James Walker was in an altered state on drugs or alcohol or both and I hope people realize that he is common criminal thug who likes to intimidate women with the threat of brute force. Andrea Jameshis boss and owner of Hairtell.com taught James how to bash any and all licensed electrologists, skin specialists not on Hairtell.com and that that they see fit to inflict harm upon. Mr. Walkers illegal acts proves that he and others does not have the right to take the law into their own hands and if he tries again it will be short time before he and his accomplices ends up in prison. In addition Mr. James walker should take into consideration stalking an individual on the internet and then to trespass on their property is a federal offense and any of his associates on Hairtell.com that participated or know of his crime could be investigated and charged with aiding and abetting a Felony Hate Crime. These crimes are serious felonies with up to 15 years imprisonment and James Walker and his Hairtell.com accomplices should realize that Arizona is a conservative Death Penalty State that does not tolerate violence and cyber-stalkers in any form or manner. In addition, Andrea James the owner of Hairtell.com also known as the Jokestress is James Walkers mentor who taught James the fine art of bashing Transgendered women. He believes it’s unfair that licensed and registered electrologists that have worked hard to earn their credentials and proudly display them on their resumes and advertisements. James Walker on the other hand thinks and believes there is no need to educate, test, and license electrologists. However James claims and prints his own delusional credentials were he actually believes and publicly broadcasts; he is the Electrolysis World Champion at the Top of His Game, Hair Removal God and Entertainer Extraordinaire. However you should see him in Electrolysis World Champion WWF wrestling outfit and with his fake champion belts and you want non-licensed to work on you?

Gee I hate to hear electrolysis stories like this and did Dee Fahey forget that cleanliness is next to Godliness? James Walker Andrea James devoted lackey whose real knowledge of Electrolysis, Thermolysis and Blend treatments would not fill Tinkerbelle’s Thimble however he slaves away for his mistress and procures the payoffs and kick-backs from Hairtell.com’s Top Ten Contributors. On the other hand Andrea James has her butt in the sling again with Gender Trender. Will the horror stories about Andrea James, James Walker VII CPE and the non-licensed rank and file electrologists of Hairhell.com ever come to an end?

James Walker believes that to become an educated state licensed electrologist is an unpleasant task and he fears traveling to a state that licenses and registers electrologists because they will force him to jump through hoops of fire and ultimately reject him.

Walker states that electrologists that do so and return home to their state to practice electrolysis are only doing it for the marketing value, as they will join the majority of electrologists who are professionally educated, trained, tested and licensed and registered as electrologists. While James Walker claims electrologist get a license just to say that they are licensed, while James’s practice is performed outside the range of being acceptable in addition to him being an uneducated non-license electrologist. Of course James fails to mention there are excuses or reasons why people fail to become a state licensed electrologist and they are; lack of High School Diploma or GED, criminal record and failing your state board required blood test that you do not have a have communicable disease.

Example I am a Massachusetts licensed and registered since 1979 and I have an active private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona nevertheless I lived in Massachusetts most of my life before relocating to Arizona.

Nonetheless James Walker believes a license and registration as an electrologist is nothing but a marketing gimmick that allows electrologists to mislead people even though I have to complete 10 CEUS (Continuing Educational Units) every two years to maintain my license and registration as an electrologist. On the other hand James Walker non-stop whining that educated licensed and registered electrologists have an unfair advantage when in reality James is suffering from professional envy and a rapacious jealousy. James Walker constantly laments how states board of electrologists who grant electrolysis licensees are doing nothing but collecting fees from the electrologist, and they possess no power to monitor the electrologists practice. Again James deliberately forgets to mention the Massachusetts State Board Of Electrology checks to make sure your taxes are paid and you have supplied transcripts proving you have completed 10 CEU’S (Continuing Educational Unit) courses which you are required to take every two years before the Massachusetts State Board Of Electrology will renew your license and registration as an electrologist.

James Walker VII CPE continues to cry that State Boards won’t even take any complaints against an electrologist, as the complaints occurred outside of James Walker jurisdiction.

James drones on, you have to deal with conformity issues that arise when trying to maintain a credential with a state far from your actual home. State licensed and registered electrologists I know have told me that James Walker VII CPE suffers from acute professional envy and jealousy which proves beyond a shadow of doubt that he has a serious inferiority complex. From that point, James claims an electrologist might choose to move one of her marketing credentials to a state nearer to home like Utah. I do this to be in compliance in Utah when I visit electrologists that take my advanced training and evaluation courses. Nonetheless it’s difficult for James Walker whose always scratching his head in wonderment to the point that his hair fallen out and thinks to himself why can’t I be successful? However it’s my business if I would like to earn a third or even fourth state license and registration in electrolysis. Every educational point in attaining an electrologist license is a mystery to poor little James Walker whose lack of hard work hinders his ability to choose a state licensing program. Compare the different educational electrologists licensing requirement in New Jersey that James could attend if he had graduated from high school or attained his GED. Alas poor James Walker states, “Who needs or wants a professional education and a state license and registration as an electrologist? On the other hand James Walker VII CPE of Hairtell.com is turning an ugly shade of green caused by his resentment where he believes all state licensed and registered electrologists possess an unfair advantage over himself.

One must never forget, that James said, “When you call yourself a licensed and registered electrologist, you will have to avoid making statements that imply that you are a the only New York Licensed and registered electrologist.

New York has no state licensing requirements to legislate the practice of electrolysis. However since August 22, 2003 James Walker VII CPE has been masquerading on the “Cosmetic Enhancement Forum” as guess who? James writing style is most obvious plus the fact that he cuts, copies and posts much of his information from hairhell.com .But James cannot resist using the forum name as “Licensed Electrologist” as his user name on the Cosmetic Enhancement Forum. But why does James Walker VII CPE want to be known as a Licensed electrologist? I am sure he is getting quite a business from posing as a licensed electrologist but it’s his blatant lies that demonstrate just how bad he feels left out of this profession. Nonetheless James could do a little work and earn his GED and go to electrolysis school? Nah, James is to lazy for that amount of work!

James Walker thinks the future of the Electrolysis Profession is at the fork in the road while licensed electrologist know it has been long, hard struggle to achieve requisite licensing in 34 states for electrologists since the beginning of the electrolysis profession.

On the righteous path, we have the future licensing of all electrologists, and on the other hand to satisfy James Walker we would have to stop the clock and turn it back to allow the uneducated illiterate electrologists to continue as “Business as usual” no matter what the consequences may be for the consumer. However if the state of New York required electrologists to be licensed they would most likely have to grandfather in all non-licensed electrologists and this means James Walker VII CPE might get a free ride and an electrologists license, oh God help us! Because I would have to register a complaint against James for his “Crimes Against Nature”. Of course if James is altruistic as he claims he would refuse the electrolysis license and move to another state without mandatory electrolysis requirements to make a statement supporting electrolysis illiteracy. Of course there are certain reasons why a state would not license an individual under a grandfathers clause: Criminal record, no high- school diploma, sexually communicable transmitted disease, refusal to pay child support and refusal to pay your state and federal income taxes.

The Certified Professional Electrologist AKA The Store-Bought Diploma

The Certified Professional Electrologist AKA the C.P.E. is the most prolific and common of all the non- licensed electrologist’s diploma mills. Their education can be completed in a relatively short amount of time from ten days to three weeks. The Certified Professional Electrologist does not have a defined published theoretical or practically applied curriculum plus there is no practical examination that is approved by one State Board of Electrologists in the USA. The American Electrology Association is the largest sponsor for membership and has shrouded the process to become a Certified Professional Electrologist in a veil of cloaked secrecy. However I did find the requirements to become a C.P.E. in non- licensed states a clear and present danger to the safety of the consumer. Furthermore you can apprentice with a non-licensed Certified Professional Electrologist for a mere 120 hours with a handy dandy notarized affidavit with proof of residency and don’t forget to submit a copy of your driver’s licenses when you are ready to take the examination. Yessiree, those sure are stringent requirements just to qualify for your examination to become a Certified Professional Electrologist, what could be more taxing? In addition the 120-hour course consists of an actual 20 to 30 hours of practical application training. In addition is no minimum requirement to graduate from a high school diploma to become a Certified Professional Electrologist? There is no criminal or background check or medical testing to confirm the novice electrologist has no communicable diseases as required by all state board of electrologists! Nonetheless James claims he is a Certified Professional Electrologist which gave me the incentive to check his claim at the American Electrology Association website and there is no listing of James Walker VII CPE as Certified Professional Electrologists in any form or manner.

SINCE 1979 NON-LICENSED ELECTROLOGISTS LIKE JAMES WALKER VII CPE HAVE DAMAGED THE IMAGE OF THE ELECTROLYSIS PROFSSION!

When I graduated in 1979 and opened my practice there was allot talk at school about what electrolysis associations were planning, along with the anticipation that the profession would soon have an educational tool for the betterment of the profession. My last day at school we discussed the creation and the acceptance of the Certified Professional Electrologist course by the American Electrology Association. This was a 120 course with true and false and multiple choice examination with no testing of the applicants Practical Application leaves allot to be desired. As a newly licensed electrologist I remember Diana Kelly, R.E., Dean the owner and dean of Miss Kelly’s School Of Electrology remarked that the Certified Professional Electrologist course would harm the educational arm of the electrolysis profession. While a student at Miss Kelly’s School of Electrology I remember all the out of state students who travelled from all over America to take a minimum 300 to 500 hour course so they could become proficient electrologist. Than they would return home to set up their practice but 90% remained to take complete course and earn their Massachusetts License & Registration as an electrologist… After the creation of the 120 hour Certified Professional Electrologists course Diana Kelly had a large drop in students from states with no electrolysis requirements? James Walkers VII CPE aphorisms that he alone is the most altruistic and caring electrologist in addition to claiming he alone is the Electrolysis World Champion makes every electrologist laugh until it hurts. James Walker claims the end of the road has been reached and it’s my opinion that we are losing electrolysis equipments manufacturers, and suppliers, due to the flooding of the market by heavily subsidized cheaply manufactured equipment made in Chine and assembled in Canada under another name. As the demand for these products of our profession is stagnant due to the increase of non-licensed electrologists participating in the profession who purchase cheaply made foreign subsidized electrolysis equipment. However with each new state licensing program that takes effect the visibility of the non-licensed electrologist decreases as well. It seems very harsh but if they refuse mandatory licensing they deserve to be out of the profession until they realize that being an uneducated non-licensed electrologist is unacceptable in the year 2015.

James Walker VII CPE’S stance on requisite licensing is off base and it makes complete sense to expect people to master a professional skill while those who forgo their electrolysis education, license and registration and hang their shingle blatantly mocks the words Certified Professional Electrologist. In closing, the best thing for the industry is a formal electrolysis education with mandatory state licensing and registration as an electrologist proving to the public that the educated trained, tested and licensed and registered electrologist is the standard for safe permanent hair removal. In the end, the results of the client’s skin are the only thing that can judge true professionals ability. All else, is simply a starting point considering the fact that uneducated self-trained electrologists cause physical damage and emotional harm to the consumer whose only goal was to rid her of herself unwanted hair problem. Fact, having lectured Harvard Medical School from 1983 to1987 on psychology, human sexuality, endocrinology, electrolysis and Transsexualism one of the primary topics of my lectures is how imperative psychotherapy is for a successful Transsexual transition and happy life. Without one doubt it is my professional opinion that all TS’S should be in therapy for at least one, two years and even three years before SRS however many TS’S are afraid to go into therapy because they fear their therapist will discover a serious anti-social personality disorders and not recommend their SRS. Fact in my professional opinion psychotherapy for a Transsexual is an absolute essential and far too many Transwomen like Andrea James are going through their transition in less than a year and without therapy and it is obvious Andrea James is one of them in addition to having a serious anti-social behavior problem coupled with her out of control tyranical malignant narcism.

At Harvard Medical School I stated, “Becoming a woman is learning experience and far to many Transwomen who skipped therapy never had a chance to discover their real self and those who skipped therapy are bitter and mal-adjusted to say the least.” Nonetheless it’s most obvious had a serious case of OOTB AKA “Operation On The Brain”. Its quite obvious Andrea James still has OOTB because she became so obsessed with having her SRS immediately and thought it would solve all her problems and unhappiness. Sorry to say its obvious that Andrea skipped therapy and had her SRS without therapy, however she has not completed her transition because she has not emerged as a whole human being with a heart. Fact she completed her transition like it was a horse race and premeditatedly charged all of her transition on her MasterCard and she was well aware that she could never pay back her debt. So she after surgery it was no surprise she filed for bankruptcy and perjured herself before the courts and now after doing this she wants you to believe she is responsible respectable citizen. That one illegal act alone makes it tough for honest Transwomen to get a loan for any thing let alone that she thinks defrauding the people is okay. In addition she claims she comes from a wealthy cultured family in Chicago however why did she have to file for bankruptcy when her wealthy Chicago based family could have bailed her out? Her next lie is that she has a degree in English from the University of Chicago, which she never attended.

However Andrea’s major failure is that she did not possess a viable skill or occupation to make her way in life. Fact far too many Transwomen rush through the transition without thinking of how I am going to support myself as a woman. Shortly after SRS Andrea went through bankruptcy she still does not possess a professional skill suitable for neither a woman nor a satisfactory employment record or work history as a woman. Fact it obvious she has never worked an honest day in her life and she has no understanding of others that have worked hard to put themselves through school. So she has not progressed and can only see herself as a “Professional Transsexual” whose only income is derived from exploiting, exposing and fleecing the Trans Comunity by coercion, extortion and blackmail and all other illegal means to get her way. From what I see of her she is very unhappy and God help if you do not agree with her. Yes its most obvious Andrea has failed for all she possesses is envy and jealousy of others success and if you will not give her a piece of yours she will try to destroy you.

Andrea James does not have a legitimate business address and she is not listed in Yellow pages of any business directory.

Fact, Andrea James is the one who is paranoid and unstable because she does not want her creditors and people that she has ripped off to know where she is. For the record I warn all electrologists and consumers steer clear Andrea James who has nothing to lose by slandering you in a most evil defamatory manner.

The way it works is the innocent consumers who are looking for information about hair removal unknowingly becomes a free member of Hairtell.com. After that he or she goes on line and looks for an electrologist in her state say like New York which has no licensing requirements to do electrolysis. From there the consumer asks if any anyone knows a good electrologist in the Buffalo, New York area. Than all of sudden others join in on the forum and before you know it every one of them recommends their beloved Electrolysis World Heavyweight Champion James W. Walker VII CPE. Andrea James the owner of Hairtell.com has not mentioned this nor has any money been repaid to Electro_Client who flew all the way from Germany to have an Electrolyis Intensive with James Walker of Executive Electrolysis and and Andrea James is the owner for Hairtell.com

All state licensed electrologists are required to have a background check in addition to being educated in Electrolysis Theory and Practical Application and than complete a two written and hour practical examination to become a Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist.

If your electrologist has met all the licensing criteria in your state or a state with no licensing, you can be assured that you’ll be treated with the utmost care and professionalism. Certification is like a cheap paint job on a Mercedes however the Mercedes is already gorgeous and why you want a cheap paint job to make it really stand out?

Licensed and registered have a responsibility to obey the rules and regulations of their State Board of Electrologists..

Even though my practice is in Scottsdale, Arizona I run it as if it were in Massachusetts. That means my office, equipment and treatments are accountable to a State Board Inspector who could walk in at any time and inspect my office. This includes equipment, sterilization and all professional requirements. If you are unconvinced about your Electrologist’s credentials, ask for their pocket license and call their State Board to verify them if you are doubtful. This rating system also includes Electrologists who attended a school with a defined curriculum in which the students are trained by a licensed and Registered Electrologists with a minimum of five years experience using a late model computerized epilators.

Whenever you see “Certified” that means that 99.75% of them are non-licensed and non-registered. Beware of these electrologists because they have minimal rock bottom training and some have dubious ethics to say the least. Be aware that this is not a profession that can be mastered in 120 hours of training. One should doubt anyone who claims a standard of professional ability from these correspondence and certification courses. You should ask yourself how can one non-licensed electrologist confer a professional title on another one?

Tsk, tsk the one star electrologist limits their practice to states where there is no state board of electrologists, because they know they would be shut down by a state board for the simple reason that their credentials lack professional training and their ethics would not survive professional scrutiny. They also illegally advertise permanent hair removal by laser. The F.D.A. has ruled that only Electrologists may advertise “Permanent Hair Removal.” So if a so-called certified electrologist wants to give you laser treatments, ask them to put it in writing that it will be permanent and painless like they claim Laser Parlors also will ask you to pay up to $3000.00 in advance and they will finance and it will cost you a fortune in interest alone. Never pay in advance for Laser Treatments because if you can’t tolerate them you still have to pay for them.

For your safety always ask the Laser Parlor Operator for a written guarantee of permanent and painless hair removal before you part with your hard-earned money. It is very easy for them to switch you over to a laser treatment when you have unknowingly signed a consent form to have electrolysis treatments, unless you read the fine print carefully. Make sure you call their State Board Of Electrologists, not the American Electrology Association who certified them. The only people that can license and register electrologist is a governmental State Board of Electrologists. For the record it is my professional opinion that the Certified Professional Electrologist that paltry certification course by itself does not prepare a layperson in any form or manner to be able to perform a safe competent electrolysis treatment. These questionable electrolysis certifications courses and diplomas appear, infer and bestow ornate diplomas and titles with credentials upon undeserving frauds who think that its alright to purchase an education and their credentials even the course they took was from 50 to 120 hours long. Furthermore in being so politically bold, James Walker VII, CPE is unaware that only a state board of licensed and registered electrologists and an accredited electrolysis school can certify one as electrologist before you take your requisite dual state board examination of written and practical.

For the general publics information, the 120-hour Certified Professional Electrologists examination is a fourth grade level multiple-choice examination that does not require a high school diploma, GED, no criminal check and I almost forget to mention there is no examination for the “Practical Application” of electrolysis. Furthermore there are no requirements for applicants to provide a required health certificate attesting that they have no STD’S or communicable diseases. James Walker proudly-proclaims to be the Official Electrologist To PEP An Intimate Social Club which is rumored to be sexual fantasy club in Buffalo New York. Is this is a person that you want to perform delicate precision hair removal treatment? Nonetheless what scares me the most is that PEP members and are not required to have mandatory helath checks for sexually over-active members who could have contracted an STD also know as Sexualy Transmitted Disease. Their mode of operation is group effort of overwhelming attention that religious cults use to recruit new members. As a testament to one’s admission into this noble quasi-organization, members were awarded the most ornate and beautifully embossed diplomas I have ever seen. With a font like that who could question a non-licensed electrologists qualifications?

I will always be baffled by the amount of energy that individuals and groups put into skirting the state regulations of their desired professions. However James Walker VII CPE absconded with10,000 advanced payement from a Transwoman German Girl who flew in from Germany to have electrolysis treatments. James Walker VII CPE who skipped town moved to Rochester New York and opened a new electrology office listed as Emancipation Electrolysis. Andrea James lets him list his new unlisted business on Hairtell.com Hairfacts.com and TSroadmap.com. Nonetheless Andrea James is the resposible owner of the owner Hairtell.com website and she refuses to make resititution to Hair.com’s German Girl. By the way be careful of Emancipation Electrolysis because they do not list the credentials of their unlisted electrologist who is uneducated a non-licensed electrologist.

I was a guest lecturer at Harvard Medical School from 1983 to 1987. I was, interestingly, the only Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist that I am aware of to lecture at Harvard Medical School. I lectured on the following subjects: My Life Experiences, Human Sexuality, Psychology, Transsexualism, Endocrinology and, of course, Electrolysis. Most folks are not willing to share their life experiences, and when they do, are often unaware that you may well be placed directly under their microscope for an up close look at your life, especially when one lectures at an institution of Harvard Medical School’s stature and magnitude. On the other hand, this was my opportunity to observe professors and physicians who actually possessed the absolute power to influence or maintain or change the path of “Modern Medicine” with their signature, directive, verbal order or even the snap of their fingers. In the upper echelons of Harvard Medical School and other prestigious medical institutions, this is how it is done because, as always, there is a very small percentage of the ruling elite who make all the decisions regarding the quality of our healthcare.

In every social movement there is a hierarchy with rules and regulations that cannot be breached without consequences. With the advent of the Internet, that has provided an opportunity for the Transgendered Community to express the reality of more than 40 years of uninformed bias by the medical profession and without a doubt have to own directly the responsibility for the inequality inflicted upon the “Transsexual Community.” Major medical teaching institutions have repressed scientific results that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that being a Transwoman is a genetically inherited condition. The “Insurance Industry” using state and federal lobbying has gone to great lengths to totally suppress evidence because they do not want to pay benefits.

Every day of our lives is precious and I would like to believe that I have sowed my thoughts and planted some good deeds along my life’s journey and am hoping, in some way, that some of those have taken root and made a positive difference in the world around me.

By contrast, I would like to point out that the internet has also created opportunities for the “Hard Core Militant-Transbeasts” minority within the community to constantly repeat the ongoing struggle of psychological warfare of who is right and who is wrong. No matter how far the Trans community evolves there will always be discontent by a group, individual or the transgendered internet gangs who claim to be right and that their path is the only way, even though they have lost sight of what they were fighting for. Throughout my life there is one sentence that I like to use, and it is, “What most people take for granted is a hard earned privilege for a Transwoman.” Of course we live and work in an unfair society, but then again, adversity spawns one’s own creativity to work harder in all matters of life to overcome the ignorance of a few people who are ill informed, or who have to express their own personal vendetta to everyone around them, out of their own personal inadequacies.

Therefore the theme of my lectures at Harvard Medical School where about psychological strength and endurance as well as being able to overcome the shortcomings of an indifferent, complicated society where being different is a liability that is held against you. Nonetheless, the Transsexual Community is the world’s smallest, least understood minority who survives in a diverse yet indifferent and complicated society where it is an ongoing struggle to maintain one’s dignity, let alone one’s identity.

On the one hand, there are some Transjerks like Andrea James who did not plan ahead as to what the future of their life might be and how they would support themselves. They rushed through their transition as if it were a Kentucky Derby. Far too many Transwomen have gone through their transition in less than a year and without therapy. I feel certain that a few them are already having serious personality disorders coupled with anti-social behavior that they are not dealing with. Transbeasts like James ignored therapy and continues to make the same incorrect emotional responses versus good solid rational thought and end up hurting many others as well as themselves. They reject and turn people away from themselves, while at the same time, psychologically painting themselves into a corner.

I believe this is Andrea James’s problem. She has what I believe to be “Malignant Narcissism” which starts in infancy, childhood or early adolescence. It is commonly attributed to childhood abuse and trauma inflicted by parents, authority figures, or even peers. It’s so emotionally painful for her to admit her errors that she stumbles into one state of denial after another! She repeats the same mistake over and over blaming others for her problems. In psychiatric terms this is called the “Vicious Circle” and without a doubt they are unaware of how to correct their misdeeds until it’s too late for them to make amends. Ms. James was one of those in such a hurry for her transition that she either ignored or neglected the professional recommendation of physiological therapy for those who claim gender dysphoria.

This article is about a Transwomen who went bad, her name is Andrea James and she is 45 years old. It seems that she has not figured out yet that it is wrong for her to purposefully inflict pain on others because they disagree with you. It seems that her psychological behavior has not matured beyond that of an adolescent who had no parental control in her formative years.

Additionally, it’s apparent that Andrea James considers herself judge, jury and executioner and enjoys the act of inflicting of pain on others and that’s what I find disturbing about her with the fact that, at 45 years of age, she has not out-grown her narcissistic personality disorder.

Without a doubt, I believe all Transwomen like Andrea James should be in perpetual therapy for life. There are many Transbeasts like Andrea James who are afraid to go into therapy because they worry that the therapist will find out who they really are and discover they have a serious anti-social personality disorder or other serious malady that they would not be prepared to deal with. Their fear is that the psychologist would not recommend their SRS as a result. The narcissist aka ever the intimidating bully is not accustomed to such resistance and becomes openly antisocial and seeks to subvert, sabotage, and destroy the sources of their frustration usually from a distance such as the internet forums and chat groups or their own websites. A few retreat and confine themselves to the company of adoring sycophants and unquestioning groupies. I believe that Andrea James falls into this category! I do know of what I speak, as one who has had to endure such behavior over my lifetime and now currently with Ms. James.

In the beginning, Andrea James developed four websites to be used for her self-elected position as the “Queen of Smear” on the Internet along with her financial scams to part Transwomen from their hard earned money. Then Michael Bailey published “The Man Who Would Be Queen”, a book that I disapprove of by the way, but incensed Andrea James to seize the moment and make it her cause in the hope of gaining publicity and fame through debauchery. Well, it seems that Andrea James inadvertently became Michael Bailey’s best public advertiser and with her negative written endorsements, coupled with her psychological attacks and smear campaign, unwittingly sold more books for Michael Bailey than the best New York advertising agency could. Bad publicity about sexual behavior sells more books than you can imagine and Andrea James made “The Man Who would be Queen” into a successful seller.

Then of course, there was Andrea James’s use of anti-social-behavior tactics, where Ms. James downloaded images of Dr. Bailey’s children, taken when they were in middle and elementary school. She then posted them on her own website, “Tsroadmap.com”, with sexually derogatory and explicit captions that she composed. My way of thinking is that children are the innocents. By posting their photographs with cruel, sexually debauched comments, degrading the professor’s 9 year old daughter and 12 year old son, Andrea James has run the risk of psychologically scarring those children. In light of this “Tsroadmap”, Andrea James has given the world a glimpse of her sick, sadistic personality and she finally made the big time with the verbal vicious attacks upon innocent children where she shamefully used them as pawns to discredit and attack their father.

Andrea James was quoted on Mercatornet.com that demonstrates the blindness of fanaticism, as she defended her attack on the children by stating, according to the Times, “that Dr. Bailey’s work exploited vulnerable people, especially children, and that her response echoed his disrespect”. The times commented by saying “I guess you can do anything as long as it’s for the children.”

Ms. James also went on to say, “Discrediting Bailey was the easy part. Framing the theoretical issues involved is the profoundly difficult part of this controversy“.

In many articles I have written, I’ve pointed out that Andrea James is a public menace to society and as far as the Trans Community is involved she is the “Queen of Smear” who sadistically assaults the members of her community that disagree with her or those who refuse to pay her tribute and extortion money in the name of making a donation to her company, Deep Stealth Incorporated. Andrea James has proven herself to be untrustworthy to the point that she has no known redeemable qualities and the fact that she preys upon the Trans Community like a circling vulture with one financial scam after another leaves a trail of victims behind her.

What I would like to do is point out some of Andrea James’s smear campaigns and attacks upon others in the TG-Community. First, it starts out with trying to “Out” young Transgendered Girls who are just trying to make their way in life, and making things difficult for them by exposing them to the public. Then, of course, Andrea James goes on the verbal attack with threats against Professor Alice Domurat Dreger at Northwestern University and her five-year-old son. For response, Alice Dreger wrote an article in which says, “I found myself deeply intimidated by Ms. James’s actions”.

Further into the article she also writes, “Ms. James was notable for the way she decided to go after Bailey’s children to extract revenge. She posted on the internet photographs of Bailey’s daughter and labeled her a “cock-starved exhibitionist.” James also claimed in her online publications that there “are two types of children in the Bailey household,” namely “those who have been sodomized by their father [and] those who have not.”

The article Ms. Dreger wrote is entitled The Blog I write In Fear, (you can read the entire article at this link). She writes quite a detailed account of Andrea James’s hate tactics and antics upon herself and the professional’s children. Andrea James keeps piling up victims, which proves that hate rules her cold-hearted, vicious verbal and false slanderous assaults all because this woman opposed and held a different viewpoint that Andrea James disagreed with. However, Andrea James has become fond of her use of belligerent, antisocial tactics and she never has possessed the ability to distinguish between right and wrong when she thinks everyone is her enemy. With her poisoned tongue Andrea James envenomed honest, hard-working people, especially striking at successful members of the TG community without regards to people’s civil rights and their feelings.

For those who have had their names publicly smeared and/or businesses defamed and slandered, there is no way to contact Andrea James directly, as her mail is received at Mail Boxes Etc. However, after several years of searching, I finally located Andrea James’s physical address, which is located at 952 Lucile Avenue, Los Angeles, California, 90026 and I sent her a certified return receipt letter with signature on it. Now people who have the desire can serve Andrea James with a court summons or other legal documents that have a delivery receipt and can do so without fear that Ms. James will just ignore them and claim she never received them. With the Mailbox Etc. address she could just refuse to reply to her mail, refuting the laws of our society.

What does this mean for those seeking justice? It provides her victims to serve her a bench warrant, court summons and legal documents to appear before a court of law and a judge. Of course I hope everyone operates within the law and refrains from “Vigilante Justice” so, please, no drive-bys, Molotov Cocktails, Machine-Gun Strafing or other forms of violence.

Hairtell.com is another example of Andrea James’s use of the Internet for her smear campaigns and illegal spamming techniques. In the last two years, many transsexuals have called Boston Electrolysis for treatment, advice and suggestions of where they might go to get decent electrolysis treatments in their state after having exhausted all sources on the internet. I was dismayed to learn that James Walker VII, NLE, a non-licensed electrologist and Andrea James sycophant groupie, dislikes licensed and registered electrologists. James Walker VII, NLE, has set up a kickback system on Hairtell.com where non-licensed electrologists pay him for referrals.

However, our transgendered activist, Andrea James, has not changed her mode of operations, and she has now selected James Walker VII, NLE to be the moderator for Hairtell.com. Mr. Walker of Hairtell.com claims to aspire to the highest standard of ethics in the electrolysis industry yet, being an uneducated, non-licensed operator himself, one would have to wonder how ethical could he be? It’s my opinion that he holds this position as a lackey, licking at the heels of Andrea James and doing exactly as she tells him. Andrea James, it seems, demands the “lions share” of the kickbacks. In addition, Mr. James Walker VII, NLE, habitually smears licensed and registered electrologists who refuse to submit to Andreas James’s extortion, scams and payoffs. Recently Mr. Walker and James the owner Hairtell robbed a member of Hairtell know as German Girl and they James Walker moderater of Hairtell stole $10,000 and Andrea James the responsible owner refuses to return the money he split with James Walker the Moderator.

So again why did I write this article? Because it’s my misfortune to post my practice, Boston Electrolysis®, and my website, Bostonschoolofelectrolysis.com, on Tsroadmap.com in which I caught her page jacking my website, all because I asked to be removed from her website and for her to stop the theft of my intellectual property, the registered and copyrighted name, “BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS®“.

Shortly after my request, Andrea posted this hateful statement on hairfacts.com, “Boston Electrolysis and Kimberly Williams should be avoided by all consumers, the owner’s behavior is erratic and paranoid.” In fact, and for the record, I have never met Andrea James and the one time I talked to her on the phone, she said “F&%k you” and hung up the phone. Fact: Andrea James is the paranoid one, because she has an unlisted address at Mailboxes Etc., 5419 Hollywood Blvd, Suite C142 Hollywood, CA 90027, and has an unlisted cell phone number and screens all her calls. Fact: Andrea James is the one who is paranoid and unstable because she does not want her creditors and people that she has smeared and ripped off to know where she is. For the record I warn all electrologists and consumers to steer clear of this paranoid individual who has nothing to lose by slandering you in a most evil and defamatory manner.

Five stars is always the best rating. It means that your Electrologist is educated, trained, tested and is a State Licensed and Registered Electrologist with 1100 of training in scientific theory and the practical application of electrolysis. Five Star Electrologists have attended and graduated from a state accredited and nationally approved and electrolysis school. They have also taken a dual written and practical State Board of Electrologists examination and successfully passed them, and are currently a licensed and registered as an electrologist. Licensed and registered have a responsibility to obey the rules and regulations of their State Board.

Even though my practice is in Scottsdale, Arizona I run it as if it were in Massachusetts. That means my office, equipment and treatments are accountable to a State Board Inspector who could walk in at any time and inspect my office. This includes equipment, sterilization and all professional requirements. If you are unconvinced about your Electrologist’s credentials, ask for their pocket license or call their State Board to verify them if you are doubtful. This rating system also includes Electrologists who attended a school with a clearly defined curriculum in which the students are trained by states licensed and Registered Electrologists-Instructors’ with a minimum of five years experience using a late model computerized epilators.

SINCE 1985 BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS HAS USED COMPUTERIZED EPILATORS WITH SHORT-WAVE-GALVANIC-BLEND CURRENTS

Four Stars indicate that an Electrologist has completed a total of 500 hundred hours of coursework, in a state that requires a license and registration of electrologists for its residents. Any electrologist that has gone out of State and successfully passed a dual State Board electrolysis school examination is to be commended. They demonstrate how essential it is for an electrologist to be professionally trained in a state that requires a license and registration for their residents. One must be cautious if the Electrologist’s instructors where not licensed and registered electrologists themselves, as this will directly affect the quality of the training, and your treatments. Always beware of “Certified Instructors”. Electrolysis is a profession that cannot be passed down from one unlicensed electrologist to another without a serious loss of competence, safety and quality.

Two stars are for non-licensed and non-registered electrologists who have taken a course of 120 hours to 320 hours or less. These electrologists purchase memberships and credentials to electrologists’ associations that do not require an electrologist to be licensed and registered in addition they use counterfeit bloated certificates, exaggerated titles and fancy schmancy ornate diplomas to appear professional. They often claim they are a certified professional electrologist. They put multiple initials after their names and list non-licensed organizations there members of to look impressive, but you would be surprised that you could complete their 50, 12O to 320 hour course they took in with ease. You would also be amazed that some organizations are too lax in checking credentials. However ask yourself would you go to physician who took such a course? These quick-buck diplomas are often called “Certified Professional Electrologist”, Professionally Certified Instructed” and so on. Whenever you see “Certified” that means that 99 3/4 of them are non-licensed and non-electrologists. Beware of these electrologists because they have minimal rock bottom training from other uneducated non-licensed certified professional electrologist. Consumer beware to 120 to 300 hours of do it yourself home study aware that this is not a professional degree. One should doubt anyone who claims a standard of professional ability from these correspondence and certification courses. You should ask yourself how one non-licensed electrologist can confer a professional title on another one.

Tsk, tsk and tsk the one star electrologist limit their practice to states where there is no state board of electrologists, because they know they would be shut down by a state board for the simple reason that their credentials and lack of professional training and ethics would not survive professional scrutiny a regulated State Board of Electrologist. These so-called electrologists have no scruples or ethics and adopt any title they see fit and their training is minimal with the average being 50 to 120 hours and very often they use faddish, unproven treatments from a bogus curriculum. They use lasers, electric tweezers, microwave treatments, gels, ointments, and they will tell you electrolysis is painful when it is not. After advertising themselves as electrologists they will switch you over to the dangerous ineffective laser, microwave, and intense light treatments often without a physician present, as required by law. They lie to you while telling you the laser isn’t painful when the F.D.A. has ruled that it’s illegal for them to advertise or claim permanent and painless hair removal. They also illegally advertise permanent hair removal by laser. The F.D.A. has ruled that only Electrologists may advertise “Permanent Hair Removal

Their electrolysis treatments are so painful because of their complete lack of scientific theory and training in the practical application of electrolysis. To survive in business they use Novacain and Lidocaine injections that have been banned by regulated State Board of electrologists. It is very easy for them to switch you over to a laser treatment when you have unknowingly signed a consent form to have electrolysis treatments, unless you read the fine print carefully. When in Arizona beware of certified electrologists and if you have the slightest doubt or inkling they are not licensed call their state board of electrologists for verification. Make sure you call a there State Board Of Electrologists, not an electrolysis association that they claim they belong to.

Warning when an uneducated non-electrologist advertise they provide Lidocaine and Novacain Injections to achieve pain free electrolysis treatments their saying they lack a professional education which results in painful electrolysis treatments period.

THE FAKE ELECTROLOGISTS AND HOW TO SPOT THEM

THE CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL ELECTROLOGISTS AND THEIR DEFINITIONS.

It’s a known fact that certification titles do not guarantee a person is a state licensed and registered electrologist and good example is the 120-hour and 320-hour Certified Professional Electrologist course. Always remember non-licensed electrologists try to appear and want you to believe they are licensed and registered as an electrologist, example they use Jane Doe, C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist. Bonafide licensed and registered electrologists will always advertise, Kimberly Williams, R.E., Massachusetts Licensed & Registered electrologist.

For the record it is my professional opinion that the Certified Professional Electrologist 120-and 320 hour certification course by itself does not prepare a layperson in any form or manner to be able to perform a safe competent electrolysis treatment. These questionable electrolysis certifications courses and diplomas were never meant to be a standalone electrolysis training credential and they lack practical application testing. The tests are simple grade school true and false and multiple choice questions do not require the electrologist to be tested for the practical application of electrolysis in any form or manner. However they bestow ornate diplomas and titles with credentials upon undeserving frauds who think that it’s alright to purchase an education and their credentials even the course they took was from 50m 120 and 320 hours long. Additionally the certification tests are elementary grade school level hoaxes consisting of simple true and false and multiple-choice questions. In addition they do not require a high school diploma, background check nor do they require individuals to take an electrolysis “Practical Application” examination in any form or manner to prove they are competent. However in the end these desktop diploma mills turn out Certified Quacks that are an insult to honest stare licensed and registered electrologists that earned their credentials and successfully completed an accredited electrolysis school and passed their dual state board examinations.

Consumer beware I have compiled a list of titles used by self-taught uneducated non-licensed electrologists. Other ways that non-licensed electrologists try to appear as licensed electrologists is to join multiple electrolysis associations, who do not require an electrologist to be educated, state licensed and registered as an electrologist for membership. I repeat these associations do not emphasize nor require state license and registration as an electrologist for membership nevertheless they wholeheartedly promote the proliferation of themselves as uneducated non-licensed Electrologists.
