Milan Laser Hair Removal Are Trademark Infringers

Hacker Bettia Williamson

In this Disclaimer to and for the unknown scammer people and the party that is violating my Boston Electrolysis Federal Trademark Registration Number Serial Number: 88520252  The  receptionist-Secretary blamed the Marketing Team foe all of Milan Laser Parlor Operators. These certifiable disreputable Marketeers low lives know nothing or very little about electrolysis and less about laser hair removal. These trademark infringers who lie and falsely claim, “laser hair removal is permanent which is gross exaggerated lie and it’s a FDA Federal fact that the FDA has ruled and PUBLISHED and publicly stated that Laser Hair Removal Parlors cannot claim and may not advertise permanent hair removal and the FDA has been restricted to claiming permanent “Permanent Hair Reduction”. FDA FACT SHEET HAIR REMOVAL  The false popularity of Temporary laser hair removal has decreased and not grown, prompting many laser manufacturers to claim false research and are seeking that the FDA to issue a false clearance for their lasers without a double blind study. Their market is  committing false advertising that the FDA cannot maintain an up-to-date list of all laser manufacturers however not laser device have not been cleared to claim permanent hair removal in any form or manner, as this list continues to be falsified. You will need to know if a specific manufacturer has received FDA clearance, you can check with the FDA  Falsified Advertising by laser parlors leads  to more false advertising by Milan Laser Hair Removal. You will need to know the manufacturer or device name of the laser. You can also call FDA Center for Approved Devices and Radiological Health because temporary laser hair removal fails to achieve Permanent Hair Removal! Consumer Staff, at 240-276-3103, fax your request to 240-276-3151 Manufacturers should be aware that receiving an FDA clearance for general permission to market their devices does not permit them to advertise the lasers for either Permanent Hair Removal or wrinkle treatment, even though hair removal or wrinkle treatment may be a by-product of any cleared laser procedure. Further, manufacturers may not claim that laser hair removal is either painless or permanent unless the FDA determines that there is sufficient data to demonstrate such results. Several manufacturers received FDA permission to claim, permanent reduction only and not permanent removal in any form or manner period. This means that these devices will not permanently reduce the total number of body hairs, they will not result in a permanent removal of beard hair period. The specific claim granted is to effect stable  permanent hair reduction and not permanent hair removal in any form and manner through selective targeting of melanin in hair follicles. Fact is laser is a total hoax and too many women have had third degree third degree burns from laser hair removal. Hairs re-growing after a laser hair removal treatment regime returns as Paradoxical Hypertrichosis, which may include several sessions causes more hair to grow in heavier. The number of hairs regrowing must be stable over time greater than the complete duration of the complete growth stages of Anangen,Catagen and Telogen. However when it comes to laser hair removal check with the BBB in your state and see hundreds of complaints with each BBB Location. The Laser is in trouble caused by greedy people and unethical doctors who disregard and infringe  other peoples intellectual property rights.

Hair follicles, which varies from four to twelve months according to body distribution. Permanent hair reduction does not necessarily imply the elimination of all hairs in the treatment area. FDA does not make comparisons between systems or how well or unsafe they are because lasers emit harmful cancer causing ultraviolet  radiation. FDA does not recommend one laser system over another. Lasers should not be because laser operators only 50 hours of training plus the laser causes blindness and third degree burns. Laser Operators should be licensed with a minimum of  thousand hours of training like a state licensed and registered electrologist like myself. cleared for body hair removal are also cleared for facial hair removal. It’s my professional opinion that being MD does not make you expert at laser hair removal because they don’t do it and their laser techs with only a paltry 50 hours of training work on people..The Electrologists win hands down since 1876 The Electrolysis Profession has been evolved by women and and now the MDs want to take our profession from us by hacking our websites and spending millions to advertise in illegal deceptive ways they violate FDA statutes. However the Laser Parlor Operators will brake  away from them when they realize laser hair removal is a scam. The cannot learn any thing from a measly 50 hour course.

Certain low life laser parlors are pretending to be Boston Electrolysis® which is identity theft the Laser Hair Removal Experts are illegally infringing my Boston Electrolysis® Federal Trademark having Registration Number Serial Number:88520252 because they are virtually uneducated laser parlor operators pretending and infringing Boston Electrolysis® Trademark and with their sleazy come on tactics they claim they do electrolysis hair removal which was verified as a lie. Dear Bettia Williamson I am informing you and your bosses know that I did not give them my permission to use my Boston Electrolysis® Federal Trademark Registration Number Serial Number: 88520252 in any form or manner. I find that your business does not list people in charge and I have asked you to you call me but you failed to do so because Trademark Infringers don’t like being caught by the way what gave them the right to illegally use my Boston Electrolysis® trademark name to steal hits from my website www.bostonelectrolysis.com I have worked very hard to be polite but your people are rude and poorly educated and lack manners. I would like to bring to your attention that a new domain I purchased titled Milan Laser Hair Removal. By the way your business name Milan Laser Hair Removal is not trademarked. You bought an old domain of mine known as bostonelectrolysisyelloepages.com so you steal hits from my website which has been online for 20years… BTW trademark law does not allow you to use Boston Electrolysis® in any form or manner because Boston Electrolysis is an incontestable trademark in its third term. How will you feel if I activated Milan Laser Hair Removal and steal traffic from your website and publish how I have been mistreated and discriminated against? I am looking forward to your reply that you will immediately cease and desist your illegal  use of Boston Electrolysis and by the way ignorance will not help you and federal trademark law stipulates and requires that you have to ask me for my written permission or I will make this public and send complaints to the Nebraska Medical Board, BBB and other business organizations. However you can avoid all of that by your immediate cessation and cease your illegal use of Boston Electrolysis in all forms and manner. If you want to make a decent offer I will sell you MilanLaser-HairRemoval.com. By The Way it was Milan Laser Hair Removal who violated my Boston Electrolysis trademark along  with Misgendering Violations by Bettia Williamson. In addition Milan Laser Hair Removal has violated FDA Statutes claiming that Laser Hair Removal is Permanent when the FDA has stated and published that Laser Hair Removal Operators my not claim or advertise Laser Hair Removal cannot claim Permanent Hair Removal inform or manner.

I began full body laser treatment in May 2022, and after more than two years and over 11 appointments, I’ve seen no results. Additionally, my face has been scarred. When I informed the technician, they assured me that a nurse would reach out to me, but I have yet to be contacted. Dont fall into this trap

Do not go to this place. Jay is rude and racist she laughed at me for asking a question and made smart remarks. Not only did she cancel my services without my approval but failed to explain to me my options. I have called many times and they do not answer. I would get cancellation text the day of my apt and then get rescheduled weeks out. Headquarters was no help. I keep getting told I will get a refund and don’t get anything. It has been months!!!!

I have an established profession relationship with the NP that works at one of the Sioux Falls, SD locations. I have been receiving their services for the past 6 months and I have come to find out that Milan is firing ALL the NPs and hiring cheaper replacements. So I will randomly get assigned a new employee when I’m almost done with my treatment. These employees AND customers are being treated horribly because this business wants to save a buck. Although the law has changed allowing nurses to perform the laser treatment NO ONE else in Sioux Falls is FIRING their staff and replacing them with inexperienced personnel. I could understand if back fills were nurses, then training wouldn’t be rushed and senior staff could help train. I have contacted customer service about a refund and haven’t heard anything.

Need them to cancel my subscription because I no longer want to use their services. Went to the Irving tx location recently for my appointment and told them prior to that I was late because of traffic and they still couldn’t give me an appointment. Had to sit on the waiting area waiting for my Uber back ( such a waste of money and time). Told them nicely that I couldn’t keep up with the appointments as they already know that my schedule is tight and on top of their inflexible schedule, it just wasn’t possible. I haven’t heard back from the manager who used to bombard me with useless spam emails as she has now become busy. It shouldn’t be such a hassle to cancel something that you won’t use and I truly regret stepping into their location,

I was subjected to monthly subscription when I wanted to learn more about laser hair. I was told the first trial was free and agreed under that term. However I am not pleased with the final result and was told to make another consultation when I was under the impression I could cancel my appointment and do not accept to paying $300 when I was told first session was free. I find this overpriced for what service was don

Everything was going well until my latest appointment on 5/18 at the Augusta location. I dealt with a different Nurse that did not take the proper precaution to avoid the damages to my skin. I’ve been left with a painful burn on both side of my face including my chin. The nurse did not dedicate time to ensure my skin was clear and free of any product as the previous nurse would. I’m very disappointed as I am paying on a loan for services with this company. This could’ve been totally avoided if the Nurse practiced safety and even asked if my comfort level was comfortable. My trust has been revoked with this pracReview fromSara H.

I went in for my 9th treatment on my underarms and my 8th treatment for my face. I left there in pain and the next day I realized I had been burned. I went back to Milan on and they confirmed I had been burned. The technician didn’t follow procedure by cleaning the area and didn’t offer aloe. I went to my doctor and he said that I received treatment that was poor in not only technique, but also settings. I’m not going back to Milan laser hair removal scams

3rd time rescheduling me for a “consultation”. When I rescheduled the 1st time, I asked the lady specifically, will I be able to decide what area when I arrive because at the moment, I don’t know and she said yes discuss it at the consultation. I said I might decide maybe underarms and bikini line but not sure. She said okay noted, also confirmed that the consultation will be at 2pm – 3pm & my free treatment will be at 3pm – 4pm. I say ok. The lady told me this hour would be long enough for the treatment & consultation. They confirm with me the day before via text, I reply yes. They confirm again via text 7am, I reply yes but she only confirms the 2pm appointment & says the free treatment is based upon contingency. So I say is the 3pm appointment not valid, what is the contingency of purchase/availability because the special on the website clearly says “Receive free treatment after receiving consultation”? If I’m only coming in for a consultation without treatment, it wouldn’t make sense for me to drive 25 mins & I rearranged all my appointments around this schedule. She calls & says to me she is confused? I say you are only confirming one appointment when I had 2 hr slots & the previous guaranteed that the free treatment was scheduled at 3pm. She said are you only coming for the free treatment? I said yes I want to know how it feels prior to agreeing to go thru with continuous treatment, I said I decided to go with lower legs, she says we can’t do legs or bikini line within the slot, have to do underarms but just come. I didn’t want underarms because I already booked an wax appointment. I say ok whatever, at this point I’m tired of arguing. I’m speaking with her 25 mins prior to my appointment which is the same travel time. So I shaved my legs & bikini line instead of underarms which I already was letting grow out for my wax, so I had to go back & shave my underarms. I arrive 4-5 mins after scheduled time @2pm at 2:04pm-2:05pm. She tells me you have to reschedule.

Mind you I only received a confirmation email, the first appointment, none received for the other 2 times. Rescheduled another week or 2 out because you’re late & we have to fill out paperwork??? 120 secs late because you called me & made changes last minute? I have a 1hr slot for a consultation, is that not what the consultation entails? Then she says there’s a person behind you? I say am I not the person behind me scheduled for 3pm-4pm for free treatment? She says No, that’s a different system? How do you have 2 separate appointment systems or did you double book 2 people? I say whatever. She tells me the appointment for next week & says it’s a hr consultation with a 15 min free treatment. I say how is it a 15 min treatment that you claim I didn’t have enough time for today? I say ok whatever. I remember after looking up the special online, the previous lady telling me all treatments range from 30 mins to a hr. I go back in because I decided I’m not going to inconvenience myself by having to go back & reschedule all of my appointments. I let them know I have a wax appointment for underarms, I don’t want to do underarms. She says ok I’ll talk to “Jazmin” previous person/manager I spoke to on the phone. She tells her to me she’s busy & she comes back & says I’m unavailable, she will call you. Then they call me the next day & say we only have a slot available for April 1st, I said the special ends March 31. She says well you have to talk to her… like huh I don’t work there? So I’m guessing this a ploy for them to gain new customers & bait them into paying for the service instead. Most unprofessional behavior I ever seen, wasted time, gas tank & energy. I went through with another laser service.

Yesterday I went for a consultation on Brazilian and armpit. Today I received a credit alert stating there has been a new hard inquiry added to my credit report. I immediately called the company as the clinics manager DeLise Lederer reassured me 3 times that they only perform soft inquiries, and assured me “It will not impact your credit score” I just gave birth a month ago and this was my gift to myself as a new mom of 3. My husband and I are looking to buy a house. I had ZERO hard inquiries on my account. When I called to speak with the manager and confront the misleading of sales, I was told she went into labor. I asked to speak with the Regional Sales manager and was pushed off to another clinic manager from a different store. They only offered two free treatments on a different body area. TWO YEARS. A hard inquiry last two flipping years and all they can do is offer 2 free treatments. Oh and a Starbucks gift card; like I’m a child. I feel so bad. Already fighting postpartum and wanting to do something for myself now I have a long lasting credit hit. And I have to break the news to my husband. I asked if monetary compensation can be adjusted to my current plan as I’ve not even started treatments. I’m so sad, so hurt. I feel so betrayed and I can’t even confront the manager that told me this lie. Then the other clinic manager said “I apologize, we know how pregnancy brain works” yes we do, but this is your job. You should also know how to be honest and trustworthy and know the proper procedures to perform your job without being deceitful. Shame shame shame on them.

About a year ago, I purchased a package for the removal of facial hair in the chin and jaw section. I began having the treatments and noticed appearance of white hairs. I was told these were there, but I had never noticed because I was focusing on regular stands of hairs. Pretty hard to believe on dark complexion there would be a significant contrast. The treatments are spread six weeks apart and I went to them and followed the care instructions. In the month of August 2023, my family suffered a tremendous tragedy my son was killed in a motorcycle accident. I was distraught and continued to make payments until I realized I was in grief, I was not satisfied with the new white facial hairs and making payments without treatments. I called and spoke with the manager, and she appeared to be understanding and explained she would cancel the contract, but then I later found out I still owe a difference. – I have contacted Ally and there has not been a resolution. All I want is for this to be resolved, I have a lot on my hands and its unfair to pay for service not rendered.

SCAM! The claim of a 50% discount at Milan for laser hair removal turned out to be misleading. I chose Milan for their RN-performed services, which I found reassuring. During a free consultation, I was told the normal cost for Brazilian and Underarm is $11.8K, but with a 50% discount, it would be $5.9K. Normal cost of full body is $28.7K, bit with a 50% discount, it would be 14.3K. However, this price was more than 50-60% higher than what others I spoke to during my research were paying for the same service currently at Milan, and I raised my concern immediately. I felt deceived. It appeared that they inflated the original price only to offer a so-called substantial discount, applying inconsistent pricing for different clients. My issue isn’t with the service itself, but with the dishonesty about their retail pricing, despite my thorough research. I advise others who have encountered similar issues to contact the Michigan Attorney General’s office. Under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, price-gouging is illegal, and retailers may be breaking the law if they charge excessively compared to prices for similar products.

Do NOT come here for service! They only care about taking your money instead of providing you with a professional opinion. I have came to the Durham and Raleigh NC locations due to minor hair growth on my chin. I was just uncomfortable with feeling the few prickly hairs that I did have, so I had a consultation and explained that with someone from Milan Laser. I had also asked her during the consultation if laser is a permanent hair removal procedure and she reassured me that it is! INSTEAD of them recommending electrolysis, they decided to treat me. I had went to my sessions for a little over a year and I’ve noticed breakouts and dark spots in the areas treated, along with NEW additional hairs growing in from my cheeks and neck. Im not sure why my cheeks and neck was treated when I just needed my chin…but me being me, I let the lady do her job…. NOW I have to get not only my chin hairs removed but now cheeks and neck. Good thing I have found a wonderful office who does electrolysis and I have seen a huge difference after only 8 months…. Long story short, if you do not have severe hair growth, just get electrolysis. It is studied to be the only permanent hair removal and laser just permanently reduce hair growth. I have noticed a few stubborn hairs that has not grown back ever since using electrolysis …. Now I need to dispute this large bill with Milan because they trick you into a contract that covers you for a “lifetime”

I went in for a consultation at Milan on Dec 19th2023, the consultation went well. I was interested in Milan’s services. I had raised a few concerns to the sales rep. I had told her that I work in IT and I may move out of the country soon if that would be a problem after signing with Milan. She said that if i had to move out of the country, it will not be a problem, they will go through the Synchrony bank & have a way for me to cancel my treatments. Additionally i mentioned that i get painful cystic acne on my body when I shave & that could happen after I laser & i may have to stop. I took a chance, signed the contract, received one laser treatment on my navel and areola that day (19th) & it was my first experience of laser it was painful. That same day i was experiencing irritation/redness of the skin & I emailed the sales rep about having second thoughts & trying to cancel. She gave me a phone call the next day reassuring me that i am not locked in & I can take some more time to think about it and that she will be out of office until the Dec 28th. On the 28th i emailed her saying i want to cancel my services at Milan due to my uncertainty of relocation, & my sensitive skin conditions. I received no response so i called on Jan 2nd to officially cancel & move forward because i knew payment would be due on Jan 25th so before this gets delayed i should pay for the one session i received & STOP the treatment. The sales rep was unprofessional, & was not listening to my concern & letting me cancel. She avoided the fact that I am saying that i do not want to continue & that i did not like the service i received and it did not suit my skin. I called Milan’s Client Coordinator # & told them i want to speak to a Regional Manager & not go through a sales representative for canceling. Now I am waiting for a call. but i did my part of trying to cancel 4 times, the day of, day after, on the Dec 28th by email, on the phone explicitly on Jan 2. my skin is reacting badly

I started laser hair removal with Milan around November 2022 and was paying 400 every month. My contract was for two years. I got all my sessions done but what they never told me was that they bumped up the laser which was very painful in the last three sessions and I have a high pain tolerance. They didn’t inform me about this until I asked which made me upset. I thought that it was all going to be worth it at the end especially because I was seeing results. It is now December 2023 and after being done with my sessions I noticed hair growing back. Why should I keep paying the rest of the treatment didn’t work? I’m not the type to complain but if I’m paying for something that didn’t work I expect for someone to reach out to resolve this iss

(Shelbyville Rd., Louisville KY) I arrived 5min late for my 4pm consultation appointment, and the staff told me I would have to reschedule. Even though Milan requires the consultation be 45-60min, this individual insisted she needed at least 60minutes to complete the consultation. And because I was 5min late, my appointment was cancelled. My husband rushed out of work to meet me there so he could take our 3 young girls home. I parked at 4:03pm, switched vehicles with my husband, walked in at 4:05pm and was told I was too late to have even part of the consultation do

Dear Milan Laser, Last year, I can acknowledge that I did receive treatments from you. I was told a part of my package, I would be making payments through the covered care Westlake portfolio. Westlake Portfolio has been threatening me and saying I owe them money more than 5,000 dollars. After talking to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, they believe that the people you provided me to make payments to are scammers. I have asked several times for proof of documentation when I asked for a loan, as well as proof of signed documents. As I do not recall asking for that and I was told that I will simply just be making payments. My last session with you guys was in the year 2022, so I am confused as to why they are asking for money now. I was told there would be no interest and I was also never told it was a loan. But here I am a student apparently owing more than 5000 dollars for a service I do not use I have already begun reporting them to the FTR and would like to be compensated for the payments and transactions made to the covered care/Westlake portfolio. I also feel like, as a student, especially an international student with no steady form of income, I was not given the full amount of information when I agreed to the laser treatments. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially as this issue has been going on for a year now, and I would just like to be refunded and compensated.

While I do like the service I’ve gotten, they were not transparent on the “sales are final” and on the fact that the website advertises that they have payment plans as low as $47 per month, the manager of the location gave me one price of $78 for my face and then they charged me $140ish dollars the first time I started the face and neck plan. I tried to have it changed and the lady stated that they have on me on their “lowest” plan already and said her manager would call me but she never called back. I am also starting to have worse effects post laser hair removal and have tried to contact their medical side who give me the same advice that did not work previously.

I’ve had an incredibly horrible experience with Milan Laser Hair Removal. I initially was interested in getting a Brazilian. I had my consultation in June and was told I was still too tan and had too much of a tan line to get treatment. I understood and was fine with waiting until the fall or winter until my tan line faded. However, I told them that my tan line never goes away even throughout the whole winter. I can stop going out in the sun in July and I will still have a tan line the next May when I go back out in the sun. It fades a lot during the winter, but never fully goes away. They said that was fine and they will be able to in the winter. I was also interested in getting it for my underarms so I signed up for that and started treatment then. However, I went to my first appointment and they told me that my underarms were too tan and I had to wait for that as well. That was confusing to me because they were seriously WHITE white. No tan at all. But I rescheduled for a month later. I got an underarm treatment done, but still couldn’t get the Brazilian done. This happened MULTIPLE TIMES. I went to a different place the next day after I went to Milan and the new place told me they have the same machines and all they have to do is switch the settings when they go from one side of the tan line to the other. I signed up and got a treatment the next day and it has been perfectly fine since then. I went the whole winter and sure enough my tan lines never went away like I said. I tried to cancel my membership at Milan and I still haven’t had any success. At first, I called and they said I had to come in to the store to cancel. So I did that and the “person I had to talk to” was never there. I called corporate and got put on hold for forever and then disconnected. I just want a refund for the services I paid for and didn’t receive. I genuinely don’t know how to do that considering they’re making it impossible for me to do. Whatever you do, don’t go there or use them.

I signed up for face, armpits, and full legs. I was told that the payments would be conducted overtime, with no interest. I was also told it was 75% off — the total was 7000 USD for three sessions. I’d been to plastic surgeons before who would charge 250 for the face and roughly 400 for legs. In six months, total its only about 4000/ USD. Not only did they charge me almost double this, which mind you price gouging is illegal, the payment plan wasn’t offered to me. I never received a contract and had to call in to find my near 1000 dollars in payments were mostly interest! My sessions are almost done but you can’t tell me this is legal. I was told ZERO INTEREST PAYMENTS for LIFE. I was given almost 25% interest… I don’t mind paying equally to what other locations would but this is insanity. I may need to contact a lawyer. The staff are always lovely, kind, and clean but these predatory loans are worse than loan sharks. There’s no way I can afford to do this with interest and the price not actually being 75% off (My total was 7000 so how is it still 7000 with 75% off?). I got o the Monroeville, PA location.

Before the consultation, you’re asked to sign a form that “all your questions have been answered” – when I asked the front desk if that could wait since I had not talked to anybody yet, I was told that there would be no consultation unless I signed it. The consultation goes over information that are online – poor, but acceptable business practice. It is, however, the only way you can get a price. 40 minutes into it, they get to the price and ask you for your income and SSN to see the “financing options” available to you – this is BEFORE you get a price. I asked to just get the cost – what if I could pay it all without financing- why should I disclose personal information? I had to push for this, which was uncomfortable (and made them mad, obviously). After the consultation, I concluded that Milan was not a good fit for me. I sent the following email to the person who had done the consultation: “[Name], Thank you again for your exhaustive lecture the other day. I have concluded that Milan’s setup is not the best fit for me and I am not planning at this time to sign up for your plans. I would very much appreciate you deleting all the personal information that you asked me to share at the time of the consultation. Kind Regards, [my name]” I received this response (with no introduction and no salutation): “I was just doing my job. I do not own Milan Laser. I do not get to choose how they do business. The consultations are required of me. You were and continue to be very rude. Maybe because you live in [neighborhood] you feel that you can treat people however you want? I hope you find the right place to make you happy. Your application for the payment plan has been deleted.” I guess expressing hesitancy when asked to sign that you have all your questions answered before you even have a chance to ask them, and requesting to have a clear estimate before providing additional financial details is

I was told the first payment to sign up was a one time payment. But it wasn’t. I was paying $356 a month plus $84 with Ally lending. I was barely making my payments on time for treatments. When I moved due to the military and called Savannah, Georgia’s Milan location to schedule. No one sent me an email for my session. I paid more than actually getting the sessions done. I have seen results, yes. But it is killing my pockets while going to school now. I called Milan customer service to cancel. The manager said sales are final. It just has been a waste all year, I have not even made it to 10 sessions yet. I cannot keep paying for this. If I can afford it in the future I will do so. I went to the location on Shelbyville road Louisville Kentucky and the manager, Meghan, accused me or calling her entire staff liars and stated that because I was much younger than she that my complaint wasn’t a big concern to her. A nurse, Sam, was going to do my treatment and then said that I’ve never been treated in that area despite me having 4 prior treatments. She then said that I was telling her how to do her job and that she knows what she’s doing. She also said that there must’ve been two people with my name and birthday in her system for me to be right. I didn’t care about being right. I wanted to be sure that the area was being treated with the proper strength since the laser gows up per treatment. She then said that there were new protocols and couldn’t do the area of treatment. I couldn’t even get another area treated that day despite driving 45 minutes one way. Then when the manager called, she belittled me for over 20 minutes over accusing her staff of any wrong doing, said that I was calling her entire staff liars, cut me off at every chance she could when i would try to ask her questions, my problem wasn’t an issue because she’s a 47year old woman and she didn’t have time to hear about someone younger than her having this problem, and that she was going to report me in her notes that she was writing during the conversation. She even admitted that there were issues and complaints towards this nurse, Sam. In 4 years I have never had one issue at that location but there is a huge issue now with how they treat clients.

I went to the Gaithersburg, MD location. They have great, clean facilities and laser techs. They’re friendly, professional, and very aggressive in locking in sales. This year was my first time being financially independent so I was a bit naive, and the consultant was superrr persuasive and nice to me. I was ambivalent about it and was having a hard time deciding, and she was very persuasive and got me to get the 16k package. They will advertise big sales (50% off) and pretend like you can only get it if you sign ASAP, even though they have the “sales” pretty much year-round. Looking back a couple weeks later, I can clearly see that they very much rushed my decision process and took advantage of my undecisiveness and naivete. Hair removal is great, but I just don’t have the money for it. I’m sure I’ll be able to get my money back but I wish I could’ve avoided all the stress and anxiety from this purchase. So if you’re not great at standing up for yourself, you should definitely go in with a trusted friend, just like you would when going to a car d

I went in for my free consultation on June 1st. I wasn’t happy that I couldn’t get an average cost over the phone, I was told by the store manager that I’d have to go in-person as the cost is different for everyone because it’s based on each individuals custom needs. I assumed that meant the areas in question were going to be evaluated by the professional and given my estimate for me personally. When I showed up, we talked for 10 minutes, I was never evaluated for an estimate. I drove an hour for a conversation for 10 minutes in person. I’ve wanted this done for years so I was quite serious about having it done but I wanted to discuss price with Milan and then my partner, especially because it’s a large purchase. The store manager kept talking as I tried to make a decision of what I wanted and wasn’t sure if I should call or wait to talk to my partner in person about it. I got excited in the moment as the store manager shared her experience with laser treatment done at her location. Before remembering that this was a joint discussion and decision with my partner, the store manager asked me which I would want to do and if I needed payment plans. I handed her my credit card and put the full amount on my card. I left with an appointment for the next day. I felt purposefully distracted and letdown by Milan in Portland. The next day I canceled my appointment and asked for a refund. I was told only the store manager could issue that. I called the following day to speak to her and she explained she didn’t have that authority and she’d have corporate call me. They haven’t and I want a full refund. This was too much for cost and feel tricked into signing. Even though this is already charged in full to my credit card I can’t afford this treatment, nor did my partner and I want to get the treatments through Milan. I certainly feel uncomfortable with the staff in my personal areas. I just want a full refund

I was told that in order to see a price I would need to put in my “information”. Since I wasn’t providing any bank information, I was sure that I wasn’t purchasing anything. Little did I know, they ran my credit and took out a loan in my name, even though I said that want to think about the price they offered before purchasing anything. I was NOT aware that I was signing a contract and NOT aware that a loan in my name would be taken out on the SAME DAY AS MY FREE CONSULTATION, without having any treatments done. I cancelled my first appointment and called the loan provider to cancel as well, in which they informed me that I would have to file a dispute. It has only been a day since I first visited them, and my experience has given me so much stress and anxiety. Doing business in this manner is wrong. The area i needed done was mostly light hair, she told me she could get most of it without even looking, and said I needed to sign today for 50% off. She kept pressuring me to sign andvwould let me read everything without interrupting me. I called after 8 visits to cancel cause there was no progress after 8 visits, I was told sale was final. Now i paying out more money for electrolysis hair removal to be able to ready for surgery in August which may have to be rescheduled again cause I wont be ready. Called 3 times now to get canceled and some kind of refund cause the results they promissed did not happened , they treated the area needed done even though they knew with light hair it wouldnt do much, waist of money. I cant afford to pay for this anymore and they just tell me sales are final. I havent been there in months due to the fact their results never happened like she promised. Went into my consultation appointment and the manager was very nice. Before I knew it she had me check my credit and was approved. She gave me a scratch ticket and I got 50% off and she immediately gave me prices. I was completely unaware of everything as it was happening so fast. She also kept saying how good of a deal it was because of the 50%. While trying to read through the legal terms she kept making small talk and rushing through signatures. On the final one she said all sales are final literally after signing it not before and again making small talk. I received no services that day which I am happy for and was scheduled for a few days later. The next day I called Ally and asked to cancel the loan they opened a dispute. I emailed the store manager to cancel everything as I could not afford any services. She emailed with other packet options but still I declined. I sent her a final email requesting the cancellation and she has not answered the rest of my emails. I don’t want to wait longer because of the loan issue. I also have requested to communicate via email for paper trail. I messaged the main website chat and asked for a corporate email the response was they would message the store manager. I am still waiting for a response and working with Ally for the loan dispute. I am so disappointed in myself for signing something but felt rushed and I had so much anxiety and feeling like I would come off rude if I said to stop the process. I definitely should have done more research reading through these reviews definitely makes me feel tricked and scammed.

My 1 free treatment I requested to be my face and they obliged. ended up being my first treatment because I had paid for the full face package. That ended up being ky first actual treatment seeing as i had purchased the full face package The credit checks ended up being hard inquiries. After being reassured that they wouldn’t. I’m pregnant and have been advised by my OB to not do any sort of laser until after the baby is born. But because I won’t be working afterwards, there’s that loss of income. I asked about canceling and they no. But that I can receive assistance through Allegro. ?? when I asked for their headquarters number, they said that HQ doesn’t have a direct phone number. But I can call their payments line. Honestly, at this point I’m might have to take legal action.

I was unable to see any of the spaces where services are provided b/c they were “occupied” I was told that I came in just in time for the best deal and encouraged to just see what I prequalified for, and was subsequently pressured into signing a contract and loan for unlimited laser hair removal services. I have not had any services, and I feel like I got played. An appointment was immediately scheduled and now, if I have a bad experience, I’m locked in. If the company goes bust, then what? This is a set-up for a money grab and I won’t get the full value of this contract for services. It’s really expensive, and not something I want to finance or be held to a contract without knowing the level of service first-hand. I’d rather do a pay as you go situation for something that is unproven. I don’t think it’s prudent to enter into a contract for services, sight unseen. I believe this is by design and I feel duped, coerced, and strong-armed into this mess.

Staff were kind, however without giving me adequate time to read through the contract details or have it looked at thoroughly, I was pressured into signing a package contract for a 36 month loan. The process was extremely rushed with significant pressure to decide, sign, accept on the spot. At no time prior or during the consultation was I told I’d have to sign a loan for their service. I was handed a scratch off card to receive a discount. The card I scratched was for 50% off services and was told that was the first one she had seen scratched for that amount. I was hesitant about this ladies information. She was over the top friendly and now looking back, She was feeling me full of crap. They are offering 50% off on their website. When handed a tablet to fill out I was unaware what it was for. When asked I was told it was “a soft credit pull and nothing else”. Unfortunately that was false information & misrepresentation. It was in fact for a loan through ally with monthly payments in the amount of $109.00 for 36-Months. Ultimately I was misled, pressured, and coerced into signing the contract and loan, which I did not have adequate time to review. I had less than 5 minutes to read the materials before I was asked if I was finished signing and rushed to go ahead and schedule my first treatment. I was so hesitant after I left there that I really didn’t want to go to my first appointment. In April of 2022, I went to Milan Laser Hair removal for a consultation. After being pressured about the benefits with choosing Milan Hair removal vs others, the pricing, the packages, the less than 10mo. results, reduced sweat, and the pain free treatments, I was persuaded into not only applying for a loan, but also told service can start immediately that day. Every detail and piece of information during my consultation has been false. Not only have a found I have been ripped off with the pricing compared to others and time frame, but I have now hit my year visit with little results. In addition, I have also had each person that performs the laser treatments tell me different parameters/graphing for certain areas that I specifically chose during consultations which has caused areas being missed. For example one of my areas was my neck line which was supposed to be my earlobe down but some ladies have only treated the back of my neck and down. When I specifically brought up my concerns to the ladies, some have continued to neglect that area. I continue to have problems with my target areas being treated consistenly. Another major concern is the pain. I was told these treatments are pain free with little downtime. That was a complete lie. After the 4th treatment I have dealt with even more pain each and every time to the point of I have to ask to stop very frequently. The ladies that have performed treatment have said to take NSAID prior to treatments, which I have done with no relief. I have also had these areas throb for hours after treatments. And they told me they will continue to go up on the strength of the laser so we can see results which I informed them I don’t think I could do. I also brought up my concern about the amount of sweat and smell I have developed since starting my treatments. They acted as if they didn’t know what I was talking about, but after researching this issue, this is a very common problem that I was unaware of. I want a refund.

I felt pressured into signing this contract and immediately went about cancelling it. I received one treatment during the consultation and called multiple times offering to pay for the one treatment while cancelling the rest of my loan. I eventually went in person and was told that cancellations were very rare which I find hard to believe, but was promised a refund for the remainder of my loan. After 2 weeks of no follow up, I called back and was told that it “takes a few days to go through” (even though it had been two weeks). This is one of the most excruciating processes I have ever gone through and the worst business I have ever been involved with and I genuinely hope that nobody else falls for this the way that I did. I want nothing more than to get out of this contract & loan, yet after 3 months have made no progress.

I have been trying for over a month now to have my services canceled. I spoke with Kathy who oversees the Cincinnati area stores on January 20th and she assured me that we would be able to cancel my contract and receive back a partial refund. I followed up via email on 2/2/23 and 2/10/23 and as of 2/15/23, I have yet to receive any follow-up call or email from anyone at Milan Laser.

I should have never signed up ************, and I would warn others to stay very far away from Milan Laser Hair Removal.

I was approved and booked a consult online for 1/11/22 at 1PM. On 1/11/22 i was contacted by the Utica branch manager who stated she may have COVID and would have to cancel my consult and would reach out to me, that night i received a text stating I should be receiving paperwork to start my sessions, no paperwork was ever sent. I reached out on 1/16 and 1/18 to see if they could send my info over to the Syracuse clinic. On 1/18/22 i was contacted by a Manager in Syracuse who let me know that because they previously had to refund me in the past they was not willing to let me start up another contract after I already went through the credit process and was approve because they did not want to take a chance at refunding me again. I let them know that the reason for the refund was because of their employee and the lack of her professionalism. I have never experienced a business who feels like because they had to refund a person that person is no longer able to repurchase, ********************** they are a very money hungry business, unprofessional, and raciest. I asked for their business policy to see if in the policy it states they do not provide refunds or repurchase agreements and have not received it. This business should be looked into immediately.

I originally visited the ***** location on 8/19/21 for the free consult. I felt very pressured to sign a contract. It felt very much like the process was sped through. No pay per treatment option was provided. I have done 5-6 sessions and I am very happy with them. However, I have hit unseen financial difficulty. I called the center to see if I could cancel my contract. I am not looking for a refund. I would just like to cancel my contract and discontinue services. I was told it was not an option. There was no digging done on the company end to find out what options I had or what exactly I am going through.

I went for a free consultation and the information was misrepresented to me. I was told if I proceeded I would be approved for a loan. I then received an email saying I signed for a loan even though I never agreed to it. I called Milan to try to cancel this and they said it was a binding contract. Milan is refusing to cancel even though I never received any treatments. Please be aware!!!!

I had my consultation and first treatment on 7/28/2022. I thought the staff was friendly, if not overly so. I felt like I was pressured into signing up for it that day when I really wanted time to think it over. She mentioned several times I’d save even more if I paid in full and honestly the thought of signing up for another loan scares me so I paid in full. I truly don’t have the money for that and I now regret ever going and feel like I am trapped into something I don’t even want anymore.

I am normally happy with my experience at Milan, however their location is in a high traffic area, and they are very unforgiving about the 5 minute late cancellation policy. Today I was only 3 minutes late when I arrived to their waiting room and sat down. The staff members were out of sight as they had HVAC technicians assessing their unit in a back room.

At 4:53 pm (8 minutes past my appointment), Christine ******** who I later learned was the manager came out and asked if I had been helped yet and I said no. She then pulled up my profile and said I was late and my appointment had been cancelled.

I was already painfully aware of their strict 5 minute late policy as I’ve been turned away before for being 10 minutes late despite trying to call ahead and no one picking up the phone.

This time however, I narrowly arrived within the 5 minute window there just wasn’t any staff to greet me. Also… we were having this conversation at the 8 minute mark when she knew no one was at the front desk and I had been sitting there for an unknown amount of time, so i was baffled that this was being made an issue.

A moment later the secretary returned after finishing up with the HVAC technicians and confirmed that she had marked me as a no call no show and that unfortunately since they book their appointments so close together and mine was only 10 minutes, they didn’t have any wiggle room to squeeze me in today.

I then pulled out my phone and saw a cancellation text 3 minutes after my appointment time.. which was premature of the 5 minute late policy

Having driven nearly an hour for this appointment I said I understand if I need to wait, but considering my appointment is so short they should be able to fit me in somewhere.

The managers repeated they cannot fit me in today as they are booked full to which I responded that I can wait, but expect that even if staff has to stay a few minutes late to accommodate my 10 minute appt I expect to be seen today.

    Customer Response

    07/29/2022

This interaction was completely unprofessional and if I were the employer, would want to know how the manager of this location is encouraging her staff to treat guests. First acknowledging that I had been sitting there not checked in because no staff was at the desk… then leaving the room and returning a few mins later (we are now at 8 mins past my appointment time) to say she SAW me walk in late was a bold faced lie. No one saw me walk in.

It was 5 mins past my appointment time when Christine saw me sitting in the waiting room not yet helped.. l was not walking through the door. Regardless… I was still seen within their 5 min grace period so to lie and argue in front of other guests about this was in poor taste and does not build customer loyalty.

Despite Christine insisting they were fully booked and couldn’t squeeze my 10 minute treatment in, I said I don’t mind waiting, and if it means your staff has to stay 10 mins late to do right by your customer, I expect to be seen today.

I did ultimately get treated about 20 mins later… but not without a lot of grief from Christine. I plan to transfer to a different location for future treatments to avoid future run-ins with h

The consultation was great and they show you and I for you a lot about laser removal but after 40 mins when the presentation was done I signed up but I’m upset now because no one mentioned about my credit being pulled. I’m paying out of my own pocket and now I have a credit company calling me and asking for my information and I didn’t sign up for any credit. It’s a very pricey company as well just for my lip area and I found a cheaper place that’s not going to be 3600 dollars

I don’t even know where to begin. I was really excited to try something new and to get the best care possible and at first Milan seemed like the best place to receive the best care possible until it wasn’t. In the consultation, I expressed that I may need to cancel my treatment after I moved, but I was “comforted” when Ashley told me that if I no longer wanted to be treated then I would not pay therefore not get treated. She also said that my I would be paying for 7-10 treatments depending on the progress, and that I would be paying for 12 months of treatment. So, I went in for my first treatment on April 14th, 2022; it went smoothly, and then I noticed that my payment was taken out of my bank account automatically which I did not agree to. I asked if I could be taken off the automatic payments, and they said it was not possible and that I would have to cancel my card and that I would just receive notifications that the payment did not go through. I also realized after having a conversation with Ashley that the contract that I was practically pushed through, was written up for 23 subsequent payments which I did not agree to. The contract also states that any failure to pay will result in immediate alert to pay the remaining balance of the entire treatment plan (which is not cheap) and that I was not told about or was able to stop to read about. I now realize that no matter what, Milan only cares about their money, even if they know you are financially struggling. They simply do not care I was lied to. I am hurt, and I feel taken advantage of, and I simply want my treatment, and payments cancelled!

I was pressured into a contract being told I was saving money. The contract states that you are paying for 10 sessions when you probably won’t need 10. You are stuck in a contract for your health when that can change at anytime for 2 years. They tell you there is no way out and there is no reason why you won’t be coming in. The doctor more like sales person told me there are no long term side effects. I have not gone in for a single session. I do not want laser hair removal. They will continue to take money from my account monthly regardless if I come in for sessions or not. Plus I had my son with me who is only 8 years old and I was just wanting to talk about my face and legs. The woman started bringing up bikini waxing and giggling along with diagrams of female body parts I was not expecting my child to see. I have tried to call corporate. No help. The loan the pre approved me for has been canceled. I am unemployed and cannot afford this service. Felt extremely pressured and vulnerable for just a free consultation.

When I went to the free consultation I was young and was unaware of the prices since nothing is posted online. I went in hoping to get the prices and then I was going to talk to my parents about if truly is anything I could reasonably afford. When I got the prices I knew it was nothing I could afford but ending up feeling pressured to purchase something I didn’t really want. I felt bullied and belittled in that room to the point where I ended up trying to go through with it. I felt like I wasn’t going to be able to leave the room unless I signed a contract. They kept asking me which option I wanted and I kept trying to tell them I wanted to talk to my parents and do some calculations and they kept saying things like I should call them because otherwise I won’t get a certain % off. I ended up signing the contract reluctantly. I still feel like I was taken advantage of. At first when I was starting the treatments I tried to remained positive but I didn’t even want to go. It was something I felt I had to do not something I wanted to do. I ended up trying it and at first it wasn’t so bad. I saw some progress but the last time I went I experienced extreme discomfort and still haven’t gone back because I don’t want to experience that again. Last time I was there they talked about how people with PCOS sometimes don’t see the best results and I wish I had known that before. Right now I’ve paid everything off and my hair has grown back completely everywhere. It was not worth it and I would not recommend signing a contract with them. They should have plans for people to be able to end treatment and get some money back. I cannot believe they say the only option is to cancel the treatment and not the payment. I have no interest in ever going back because I felt taken advantage of and the treatment is too painful for me. I’m hoping for some form of refund.

I had a consultation with this company. The advised me that the laser doesn’t remove grey hair. I had no grey hair at all on my face. At all!!!! Since I been getting the treatments I’m starting to have grey hairs all over my face. Not one time did they say their products would turn my hair grey because I wouldn’t have agreed to that at all. I’m having a problem with black hair on my face and most definitely don’t want grey hair on my face. I feel this company doesn’t provide all the facts when telling you about their services. I have attempted to contact them. Waiting a whole week and no one has called me to discuss my issue. I being a voided. I want my money back. There’s no way I’m paying for this service then have to pay an additional company to wax my face. ******************

I had a consultation with Milan on 11/30/21 and signed up to receive laser hair removal treatments. In my opinion it is a very high pressure sales situation! The consultant stated that this was the last day that they were offering a black Friday deal and convinced me to sign up to have two areas treated on a 36 month payment plan. After I returned home and discussed this with my husband, we decided that this was more than we could afford to pay. I checked the documents that were emailed to me and they said the activation date was 12/7/21, so I reached out to the consultant to see if I could modify my agreement. I requested that I only have one area treated right now and instead of the payment plan, I could pay for that area in full to receive a 5% discount. The consultant stated that all sales are final and she could not change my agreement. That was very upsetting and now I’m really not sure how I will afford the service. Again, my biggest complaint was the high pressure nature of my meeting. I felt I needed to sign up right then and sign up for all the areas I wanted treated up front.

HAIRHELL.COM MODERATOR JAMES WALKER IN DIRE NEED OF HELP HE NEEDS HELP

CONSUMERS BEWARE OF HAIRTELL-HATERS AKA UNEDUCATED NON-LICENSED GUTTERSNIPES AT LARGE

James Walker Vii: Without one doubt HairTell-HATERS.con is not an Electrolysis forum: No doubt it, its, probably the worst consumer resource of lies written by non-licensed uneducated electrologists out there and is a second rate rate home for wayward non-licensed uneducated hair removal guttersnipes who believe they are electrologists? In addition Hairtell.com is a hateful community and is a Clique of Wannabe Redneck Electrologists who hate educated Transwoman that have become state licensed & Registered Electrologists. The HairTell Haters and Transmen by overtly hating and misgendering them them in a sick insidious manner which brings them unwanted attention to themselves and on Hairtell-Haters The supposed top forum leaders also known and Top Ten Contributors who are Transwomen that deliberately misgender  other Transwomen with vile disgusting hatred and this very common and practiced and approved by Andrea James and James Walker NHB AKA Non-Human-being the VII is very common and considered the norm by them. Andrea James-Trans and James Walker NHB  fail and do not understand how much damage they cause to the Trans-Community but when people misgender them they go Psycho-Ballistic because they are the leaders of their own Master Race Cult known as The Hairtell-Haters which is composed of hate and how much they can hurt someone is considered status symbol! None the less moderator African-American known as James Walker the VII routinely practices misgendering Kimberly Williams, R.E. who is a Massachusetts Licensed & Registered Electrologist sine 1979. In addition Kimberly Williams,R.E. lectured Harvard Medical School from 1999893-1987. However what has James Walker and Andrea Jame done in behalf for the Trans Community? Nothing but enrich themselves at the expense of the Trans-Community! That’s how desperate the moderator Andrea James the owner of Hairtell.con is and James Walker the Hairtellcom Moderator fleeces and robs Haitell Clients because he has no friends so he makes  up comments posted for the deceased licensed electrologists like Harvey Grove AKA lefty2g1 and Mike Bono Licensed electrologist. California Licensed & Registered Electrologist because he refuses to pay them pay the deceased lefty2g1 who is deceased electrologist who only did shortwave treatments. James your disgusting for digging up the dead and that says your really desperate and do not have one friend to lie for you. James your a study of hatred and someone who knows you told me you should go back to AA and get some help because of all the people your hurt by haranguing them people left and right and its most obvious you have short circuited. You have not realized you should go back to AA or find I find a therapist because your on the edge insanity but that is not an excuse because you do need help.

Well needless to say after doing an investigation of HairTell Electrolysis it’s obviously infested with hate plus and all the so called electrologists listed on HairHell are uneducated and non-licensed electrologists with very poor training. Certain uneducated non-licensed electrologist swarm and attack and forward their hate to Transwomen who went to professional electrolysis schools and became a state licensed and registered electrologists. Other disreputable incidents have happened were a young Trans-women from Germany was victimized and paid $10,000 dollars in advance to a non-licensed electrologist in Buffalo, New York named James Walker who refused to do the work and the site owner and moderator refuse to return Electro_Clients money. She left the premises because of the filth. The owner and moderator whipped up so much hatred against Trans licensed and registered electrologist because they fear our talent and excellent work this is why their are only five Trans-Electrologists in the USA that are Massachusetts state licensed and registered electrologists. Fact I have never met one of the Quacks at Hairtell.com and they assault my work with slander and insane hatred because they fear the quality of my work and at this link you see them in action verbally assaulting me. https://hairtell.com/forum/t/kimberly-williams-boston-school-of-electrolysis-warning/31931/21?page=2 and the owner and moderator of the site that promote her hatred all over the internet.

My websites have been hacked and my life threatened. I went to best electrolysis school in Massachusetts from 1975 and graduated in 1979 and by the way Massachusetts has the toughest standards of 1,100 hours to earn and become a Massachusetts licensed and registered electrologists for 43 years without a complaint on my license and practice to do this day. The are zero licensed electrologists on Hairhell.com the non- licensed electrologists were  driven off by James Walker . One so called electrologist from Buffalo walked into my office without an appointment and threatened my life. I have never met any of these people in any form or manner. These non-licensed electrologist know how to behave in front of people. But the provided link shows how much they can hate others in the community. The owner of hairtell demands a pay off and will send a Trans women to an uneducated non licensed electrologist who will pay her a gratuity. This results in skin damage and bad experience because people that claim to be self trained don’t know what their doing. Hairhell is a bad place that badmouths and slams Trans State Licensed & Registered Electrologists electrologists because we refuse to pay her a gratuity. However never forget James Walker is not a member of the GLBT Community in any form he just a greedy selfish hooligan thug who only wants to live off the Trans-Community. That’s he is plus he deliberately Mis-genders members of the GLBT Community because his hatred is out of control!

Why some people cannot become a licensed electrologist is they have a criminal record or a Sexualy Transmitted Disease and will not pass the physical period. Jealousy is the worst psychological Disorder next to Narcissistic Personality Disorder. In summation you will get the best treatment from a Licensed and Registered Trans-Electrologist who loved going to Miss Kelley’s School of Electrology in Quincy Massachusetts in the 1970’s to become a Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist. Good night! Due to the fact my website was hacked it’s back on line you can see me on Jokestress.com. and learn about James Walker N.L.E Non-Licensed-Electrologist/.

Andrea James

Turns out that Andrea James and James Walker are unstable individuals who will announce their ludicrous engagement party to announce their upcoming marriage in hell. I got the following on 29 November 2004, and I immediately sent an email with all the information I have and sent them instructions on how to report them to Google and other sites for Doxing. I have been warning consumers about them for years. Both of them are Virgins and the Bookies in Las Vegas says their marriage won’t last a week when James tells Andrea all his little secrets on their  Honeymoon night. Andrea be careful because James has hidden cameras and therefore you are required to uphold honest ethical marriage policies and if you keep this up he will make a complaint that you are not a Virgin and you could be investigated to have your record checked and that could cost you your license. Further harassment could result in complaint lodged at the to CCC?

They are such a cowards that you have to put their friends up to harassing people, which is illegal and get them in trouble if James discovers Andrea not a Virgin. The one time he spoke to you, you were rude impolite and dominated him and ended the conversation just as he started to speak. How much longer do you think your so-called friends will continue to jeopardize their own reputations for you? For the record I have never seen a Tranny like you who sexually harasses another with her ill begotten behavior, which is usually used by bigoted prejudiced jerks that Transwomen always complain about about little things. So now you have become one of the prejudiced, bigoted jerks to! Your use of multiple aliases, foul obscene language that you have sent others violates FCC, FTC regulation and for that crime you could have your phone turned off

HairHell aka Hairtell Electrolysis forum: probably the worst resource out there for effective, permanent hair removal! A very inactive community inspired by hate, as well.Read between the lies and 99% of the wannabe electrologists on this site are not educated and hide their real names and hide behind a computer to slam licensed electrologists. In addition the uneducated non-electrologists have driven off the educated state licensed and registered electrologists that do excellent work. One is from California and the other is from Ohio. There is one Transwoman who flew from Germany to Buffalo NY and paid $8,600.00 in advance for electrolysis treatments. She was ripped off and and he refused do her treatment plus the room she paid for was filth. She is known as German-girl and this is why I tell people go to a state licensed and registered electrologist for a quality electrolysis treatment. The ultimate sin here is the openly bash and slam a Trans-Massachusetts Licensed and registered electrologist from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts who lives in Scotsdale,Arizona which has the toughest standard to become an electrologist. What bothers me the most is that not one non-licensed electrologist on Hairtell.com stood up and said give that women her money back. She worked hard to save that money and the owner and moderator of Hairtell.com James Walker refuses to return her money. What a shame that brings to the United States of America. If they had a state board of electrologists they would have been arrested and locked up because the owner of the Hairtell.com is in California and the Electrologist is in Buffalo New York. This is not right and people in Trans Community need to speak up for the truth. A poorly self taught electrologist is a disaster waiting to happen and will result in pain, pitting and scarring that you will live for the rest of your life By the way Boston-electrolysis.com is back online and remember a professionally educated licensed and registered electrologist will clear up ten times quicker without the damage and that’s the gist of the subject. However the most offensive of all things is the owner and other the electrologist from Buffalo New York and than one from Ottawa and other Transwomen Andrea James who intentionally and openly misgenders Transwomen. Hairtellcom needs a good cleaning or should we a thorough scrubbing of their dirty filthy mouths. Language that openly misgendering Transwomen comes from the top otherwise known a the owner of hairhell.com Andrea James who gargles with Los Angeles sewer water.

SeannaTG Richmond IS Canada only electrologist that deliberately misgenders Transwomen who are licensed and registered electrologists. Seana claims she has become The Supreme Electrologist II the best Electrologist in the known world, the Known Universe and Galaxies and beyond and yet to come forever and ever has usurped the throne of Mike Bono Supreme electrologist 1 of the world, the Galaxies and beyond  and yet to come forever and ever. What does the former Mike Bono former Supreme Electrologist 1  have to say? For the first time in his Imperial Reign Mike Bono former Supreme Electrologist, said, “No Comment” For the first time in his imperial reign Mike Bono shocked the world with his total silence that did not have one iddy biddy word to say! Every one was struck in awe and the relief of the silence.

Seanna Richmond claims she developed a compulsion for electrolysis several years ago when she realized that being a bearded lady and electrologist did not fit her Professional Persona However Seanna realized her beard had to go. Therefore little Miss Seana took on the challenge of removing her beard however she never mentioned while a student at Swanson Electrolysis Institute she received free electrolysis treatments from other transwomen. Seana never mentioned that tradition and never gave credit to her fellow electrolysis students in any form or manner. Seana do all the transwoman you claim to work on are they aware that you misgender other Transelectrologists out of petty jealousy? She claims that she alone and all by lonesome used her self patented DIY Electrolysis Technique. I am not laughing because when she said I took on the task of herself-removing the beard on her face. However when Senas posts she angrily complains she still has hair on her face, and neck hair that will not not fall out. She mentioned she had extensive temporary laser hair removal that caused her to contract Acute Paradoxical Hypertrichosis and her beard has now become resistant to electrolysis. If you want to learn about Paradoxical Hypertrichosis go to the dead center of the front page of Http://www.Boston-Electrolysis.com  and look for the red text were it says Paradoxical Hypertrichosis and the article is there. However you know nothing about Electrolysis in any form or manner and seven years your still have your unwanted hair problem.

Seana you need to to be aware and realize the truth that non-licensed electrologist James Walker the VII are quite terrifying and you are the the lesser of two evils because you looked at the other while your buddy James Walker the VII stole money money from German Transwoman someone who worked and saved money only to have it stolen by the Electrolysis World Champion James Walker the VII. No one will ever trust you for supporting James Walker VII theft of of money. Seana do you realizes that licensing is meant to keep the thieves out of the profession. Someone that is licensed or professionally educated would not let thanywhere near their face. Laser techs at the place If your not a licensed and registered electrologist your nothing and you have not invested and  worked hard work to earn a license have professional license to become a real electrologist You can really screw up people up with an unlicensed electrologist and laser equipment, People will walk out your door. I tell people to ask the Electrologist how Come You You Are not a licensed and registered electrologist?

Seana I know James will tell you that shaving does not cause hair growth. Well Seana you can cut your hairs and your complexion will improve. Seana if shaving does not cause hair growth than in your own words why do you say my hairs will not stop growing on my face and neck? Senaa I am a Massachusetts licensed & Registered electrologist with 42 years of experience. Seana your taking bad advice from poorly uneducated non-licensed electrologist who has no professional education. In addition Sena shaving after your electrolysis treatments really damages your skin and that’s why your face and skin looks horrible.  Seana you claim, “That you have dedicated yourself to learning all there is to know about electrolysis.” Well Seana what you know about Electrolysis would not fill,” Tinkerbelles Thimble,” Seana let me say this were,”You claim that you alone have had the great fortune to learn from some of the best electrologists in the world, and to earn their recognition and respect.” Seana that is one whopper of a lie and I am laughing so hard because at best your a rank amateur novice. Here’s some free advice go to an lectrolysis school were you can learn from lectures, reading and how to think that uneducated non-licensed electrologists cannot become great electrologists. Maybe after becoming a licensed electrologist you might be classified as a “Novice.” Seana are you aware the Massachusetts has the toughest standards and requirements to become a Massachusetts Licensed & Registered Electrologist. You have no idea that you have to work at school and not skip through it and the graduates I know achieve  Intellectual Pride is a special category and property that possesses intangible creations of the basic human intellect. There are different kinds of Standard intellectual Property, and some countries recognize them more than others. The best-known types are patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade-secrets down are passed down to members of their family.

Seaana says regarding her own treatment she sought to share her skill with others. Seana you claim to be a strong consumer advocate and seek to educate others is so gauche. Seanna it’s getting deep and as much you hate Boston Electrolysis is the best source of free information and the reason you are a non-licensed electrologist is your buddies hate intelligence because my articles are spot on accurate and free. What a joke that you say your proud of your association with all the hate-mongering uneducated non-licensed electrologists at hairtell.con who took you under their wing and advised you not to move on were you will stagnate and permanently stay on as a rank and file amateur. Your sure know how to kiss Comrade Andreas James butt.

Sean  a graduate of Swansons Canadian Institute Of Electrolysis and I know all the states that you give you a state board exam based on your present training and that’s just the beginning of your education. You claim to have completed a 500 hour electrolysis course and earned the lowest title of Certified Electrologist. You also claim to be a member of the United Federation of Planets. Wow its like Star Trek but Seanna the word I is your favorite word and that’s Andrea James favorite word also.

Seanna can you prove you specialize in PCOS and Endocrine disorders? Where’s your proof?  Seana you say your clinic is an LGBTQ safe space and all you to do was was click yes on Google. Seanna as a new transgendered person you have not faced the worst case scenario for permanent hair removal, overcome it, and helped others do the same.  Seanna every licensed and registered electrologist treats all patients with respect but you have issues against Transwomen who worked hard for three years to become a Massachusetts State Licensed & Registered Electrologists. Seanna the prejudice, discrimination and bigotry from you was nothing like going to electrolysis school in the 70’s. You think your the only person to face it?  However I must say when it comes to hating your own kind you, Andrea James and James Walker really taught you how to hate your own kind and in the end it will ruin your before you realize it. Maybe I should have mailed that letter. Seanna you claim your so great but you know very little and I an Massachusetts ten transwomen were forced out of electrolysis and I was the get into school and put up with more discrimination, bigotry and prejudice that you could imagine. However I never misgendered other transwomen like you , James Walker the VII and Andrea James. I could have quit school and worked outside of Massachusetts but it was my home but when I graduated from the best electrolysis school and received my Massachusetts state license and registration as an electrologist it made me aware that nothing is impossible. Seana in your blog you were talking about how Canada’s welfare system is paying for your surgery. Why do you complains so much? In the 1970’s we paid for every-thing hormone, transportation and surgery but I noticed one item about you and that is you have not had therapy and that’s your so angry and unhappy.

Seaa Richmond C.E. you are struggling to build a professional reputation over the last few years however in regards to your bashing state licensed and registered electrologists makes you a failure and when you want to be considered a licensed professional electrologist you will fail the dual examinations with your attitude. I actually believed you would respect the cardinal rule that electrologists don’t bash electrologists and you don’t misgender other Transwomen. However since you let Andrea James teach you to hate and to do your thinking for you your just another non-licensed Hairtell Quack with a minimal title. On the other hand you should be thinking about moving to California which has on the job training to become a licensed electrologist. Or you go to electrolysis school in Electrolysis school and take 100 more hours of training who might credit you fifty hours towards your requisite 600 hours of training to get your license. Plus your children could attend some very fine schools. But your not willing to learn from the best and most experienced electrologists in USA. Copyrighted By Kimberly Williams R.E. Sean there are four mass licensed and registered electrologists from Massachustts and I was the first one. You should go to electrolysis school in Massachusetts and from other licensed and regsitered electrologists. Seana you should be aware that Massachusetts has toughest to get your license in the in the usa, north and south America and the entire world. But you would never do it because your afraid you would flunk. By the way Seana, you keep misgendering transwomen and no one will come to you. Seana when you Misgender others make sure to includes yourself and proves the fact that you hate yourself and makes it obvious your in desperate need of therapy and you hate yourself. You might take notice that in1970’s therapy was mandatory for all Transwomen and you if you check it out the Transwomen that had therapy are sucessful compared to those who did not have to struggle to get by. By the way every time you Misgender Transwomen they will right you off.

SEANNAA WHEN ONE TRANSWOMAN OR AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN KNOWN AS JAMES WALKER VII MISGENDERS TRANSWOMEN ANOTHER IT BRINGS ALL OF US DOWN AND MAKES ALL OF US LOOK BAD. FACT JAMES WALKER THE VII IS NOT GAY, NOT LESBIAN, NOT BISEXUAL AND IS NOT TRANSGENDERED NOR IS HE A FRIEND OF OUR TRANS-COMMUNITY IN ANY FORM OR MANNER PERIOD.  JAMES WALKER IS A PREJUDICE HATEFUL LIAR TRYING TO INTRUDE AND FORCE HIMSELF AND ESTABLISH HIS DEMEANING WAYS INTO OUR TRANS-COMMUNITY SO HE CAN PROFIT FROM US BY HIS DIVIDE AND CONQUER TACTICS. JAMES WALKER THE VII IS NOT A FRIEND OF THE  TRANS-AMERICAN-COMMUNITY BECAUSE HE USES HIS SPECIALIZED FORM OF PREJUDICE, BIGOTRY AND HATRED TO HURT TO HURT AND CAUSE PAIN TO MEMBERS OF OUR GLBT COMMUNITY. GOOD BY JAMES WALKER THE VII YOUR NOT ONE OF US PERIOD AND TAKE YOUR HATE WITH YOU!

HOWEVER WE MUST ASK WHO SAID.” First off, thei no certification or badge, or star on their forehead that will tell you without shopping around that one practitioner is better than any other. I wish it were not this way, but it is. James Walker please be real and admit how your pea green envy gets the best of you. James Walker Drones on and says, “Nothing replaces footwork of seeing as many as you can, and figuring out which one(s) are the best available to you, and who will do what you want done, in the way that best suites you.” From their James says,”CPE equals a Certified Professional Electrologist, A Non-Internationally recognized credential created by The American Electrology Association and the Chauncey company that made the SAT, and many other professional fake electrolysis educational tests that no one has flunked oh I am sorry and for the record James Walker vii did flunk his Certified Professional Electrologist examination. Oh James I feel sorry for you because your the only person to flunk the Certified Professional Electrologist examination. However James claims a person who passes this test is allowed to practice in most places in the world with little or no further testing. ” James you lie like a rug and you claimed to flunk that exam to make a political statement. You must been out that night at the Shady Bar guzzling down drinks to flunk such a simpleton test.  James failed the test and than you say some people have passed this test and still are lousy at the hands on job of performing electrolysis. James when are going to wake up to the fact that you cannot claim to be a Certified Professional Electrologist after flunking the test. On your youtube accounts at the begining of the video you say, James Walker Vii, CPE. because James wants every one to think he’s a Yankee Doodle Dandy and Certified Professional Electrologist who failed his Certified Professional Electrologist eamination So James why did you refuse to retake the Certified Professional Electrologist test? Oh James do you fear being a two time loser. James you keep taking the test until you passed but I think you fear becoming a three time loser the most, Oh my God that would be horrible and James will be nothing for the rest of your life, because it suits you!

RE & LE = Registered Electrologist, and Licensed Electrologist, Depending on your locality, they either register electrologists, or license them. These credentials only state that the practitioner is in compliance with the local rules. In some places that means they went through vigorous challenges to get that title, in others, it means they know someone who got them a ticket to charge money for this without much proof of ability. What the deal is where you live is something you should make it your business to find out.

CCE = Certified Clinical Electrologist, A test that is mailed out to the proctor of your choice who is trusted to make sure that you take the test fairly, and return it for grading. Theoretically if you can pass this test, you should be able to pass the CPE, however, since the test is not secure, you never know if your CCE passed on merits, or cheated.

CME = Certified Medical Electrologist, a misrepresentation of double talk, since this credential is really meant to blur the distinction between Electrologists and practitioners of Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. To get this credential, you must already have a current CPE, or CCE and sit for a test on the practice of Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation (LASER)for the purpose of Hair Removal. I would not be too trusting of this credential either just because one could possibly cheat their way to the CCE, and then pay for a two day course to prep for the CME with the owner of the test, and then sit for the test at the end of the class. I will say, however, that I am not saying that anyone with this credential is untrustworthy, I am just saying that the credential itself is no guarantee.

PCE = Professional Certified Electrologist, another mail order test that, theoretically, if you can pass that, you should be able to pass the CPE, but we don’t know if you took it fair and square, or had it mailed to your aunt, the church secretary and spent the week doing the test open book and sent it back. Needless to say, they chose their name in order to cause confusion with the CPE. ”

BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS® ARTICLE  HOW TO RATE YOUR ELECTROLOGIST©

Without one doubt the state Licensed & Registered is your best and only choice to achieve safe permanent hair removal The uneducated non-licensed electrologist cannot compare to the educated state licensed electrologist who spent years of education, study to make the effort to become a state licensed and registered electrologist.

Without one doubt desktop publishing, fake diplomas and rhyming certification titles such as certified professional electrologist are meant to confuse the consumer because it sounds professional. On the other hand these mass produced publications known az certified professional electrologist certificate title is a cruel hoax meant to confuse clients that they are professionals electrologist. In states with bare minimum requisite coursework with no practical training and examinations are a sham at best. No doubt about it certified professional electrologist, the certified clinical electrologist and the certified medical electrologist titles lack medical theoretical education and practical training. These Mass Desktop Diplomas are strictly for quacks and are obtained through a bogus semi-quasi professional organization that does not require the uneducated electrologist to be state licensed and registered to become a member. Their sole purpose is to as appear as a professional electrologist to fool the consumer to call them. It is amazing that these people with no education purchase a white lab jacket, white shoes and bogus certificates and they actually believe they are a certified professional electrologist. However a real electrologist will say, Massachusetts state licensed & Registered Electrologist and you can confirm that with my state board.

State is licensing and registration is absolutely the best. If your electrologist has met all the licensing criteria in your state or a state with no licensing, you can be assured that you’ll be treated with the utmost care and professionalism. Certification is like a cheap paint job on a Mercedes is obvious however the Mercedes is already gorgeous and why you want a cheap paint job to make it really stand out?

If you are an Arizona resident with an unwanted facial hair problem you are concerned about quality electrolysis for safe permanent hair removal. This article will help you learn how to rate an electrologist. However regarding the lack of a professional education with by an uneducated non-licensed electrologist leave allot to be desired. It is most important that all consumers learn how to evaluate an electrologist to understand the safety of electrolysis and the dangers of temporary laser hair removal practiced by non-licensed personnel. For the record all competent state licensed and registered electrologists possess a requisite basic fundamental education, which is the cornerstone foundation for her to provide you with a safe comfortable treatment to achieve your goal permanent hair removal. The Electrolysis-Electrology profession in Arizona has always been besieged by exaggerated claims of hair removal methods by uneducated non-licensed electrologists plus other assorted individuals posing and claiming to be self-taught do it yourself Electrologists. Nevertheless our non-licensed certified professional electrologists deceptively advertise amongst us. These unlicensed, poorly trained amateurs never attended a state board approved electrolysis school in any form or manner. On the other hand every consumer has the right to know their Electrologist’s credentials and professional abilities before the start of a treatment. Last but not least always ask them if they are professionally educated state licensed and a registered electrologist.

Boston Electrolysis® is strictly electrolysis and when you walk in my door you do not have to parade by curious chatty hairdressers, receptionist, manicurists, skin care personnel, laser operator’s, Botox injections, high pressured laser closers and make up sales girls. Boston Electrolysis® is a one on one specialized service for you so you can achieve your goal of permanent hair removal in privacy. Woman and Transwoman receive expert treatment do not have to explain themselves, feel uncomfortable, or psychologically challenged.

Below is the Boston Electrolysis Five Star Electrolysis-Electrology rating system, for which I have received negative comments, coupled with harassment and threats fake non-licensed amateurs claiming to be a Certified Professional Electrologist, Certified Clinical Electrologist, and Certified Medical Electrologist. One individual claims to be the only graduate of the Arizona School of Electrolysis and the Arizona School of Electrology which are fabricated schools that never existed. This properly licensed and registered electrologist is fed up with all the hoaxes perpetrated upon our profession by unqualified, uneducated, non-licensed electrologists. For the record I am the only licensed and registered electrologist in Arizona that provides every patient with a written guarantee of excellence.

Kimberly Williams, R.E., Dean Written Guarantee of Excellence

Arizona’s first and only electrologist who guarantees in writing that after one treatment, if you can locate a better electrologist, brings me the receipt and I will refund half your first treatment fee up to a half-four. In addition to that, even on difficult cases, I can work at one-third to one-fourth the time of the average electrologist – licensed or unlicensed. I also guarantee that you will have the most comfortable treatment with no scabbing, scarring or pitting as direct result of my treatments©.

How To Rate An Electrologist

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Five stars is always the best rating. It means that your Electrologist is educated, trained, tested and is a State Licensed and Registered Electrologist. Five Star Electrologists have attended and graduated from a state monitored and nationally approved and accredited electrolysis school. They have also taken a dual written and practical State Board of Electrologists examination and successfully passed them, and are currently a licensed and registered. Licensed and registered electrologists have a responsibility to obey the rules and regulations of their State Board of Electrologists..

Even though my practice is in Scottsdale, Arizona I run it as if it were in Massachusetts. That means my office, equipment and treatments are accountable to a State Board Inspector who could walk in at any time and inspect my office. This includes equipment, sterilization and all professional requirements. If you are unconvinced about your Electrologist’s credentials, ask for their pocket license and call their State Board to verify them if you are doubtful. This rating system also includes Electrologists who attended a school with a defined curriculum in which the students are trained by a licensed and Registered Electrologists with a minimum of five years experience using a late model computerized epilators.

Four Stars indicate that an Electrologist has completed a minimum of 450 hundred hours of coursework, in a state that requires a license and registration of electrologists for its residents. These out of state courses are designed for electrologists who live in a state, such as Arizona, which has no State Board that license and register electrologists. Any electrologist that has gone out of State and successfully passed a dual State Board electrolysis school examination is to be commended. They demonstrate how essential it is for an electrologist to be professionally trained in a state that requires a license and registration for their residents. Remember always authenticate the school that they claim to have graduated from with the State Board of Electrologists. If doubtful call the state board that approved the school that trained them. For confirmation of electrolysis education in Arizona, call the Arizona State Board of Post Secondary Education at 602-542-5769 and ask for Keith Blanchard, Deputy Director or email him Keith.Blanchard@azppse.state.az.us

⭐⭐⭐

Three Stars define an Electrologist who has attended a school where there is no state board and license and registration for electrologists. These Electrologists should have at have completed a minimum of 400 hundred hour course. One must be cautious if the electrologist’s instructors where not licensed and registered electrologists themselves, as this will directly affect the quality of their training, and therefore your treatments. Always beware of “Certified Instructors”. Electrolysis is a profession that cannot be passed down from one unlicensed electrologist to another without a serious loss of competence and safety.

Two stars are for non-licensed and non-registered electrologists who have taken a course of 120 hours or less. These electrologists purchase memberships and credentials to electrologists’ associations that do not require an electrologist to be licensed and registered in addition they use counterfeit bloated certificates, exaggerated titles and fancy schmancy ornate diplomas to appear professional. They often claim they are a certified electrologist. They put multiple initials after their names and list non-licensed organizations there members to look impressive, but you would be surprised that you could complete their 50 to 12O hour course they took in with ease. You would also be amazed that some organizations are too lax in checking credentials. However ask yourself would you go to physician who took such a course? These quick-buck diplomas are often called “Certified Professionally Trained Electrologist”, “Professionally Certified Instructed” and so on. Whenever you see “Certified” that means that 99.75% of them are non-licensed and non-registered. Beware of these electrologists because they have minimal rock bottom training and some have dubious ethics to say the least. Be aware that this is not a profession that can be mastered in 120 hours of training. One should doubt anyone who claims a standard of professional ability from these correspondence and certification courses. You should ask yourself how can one non-licensed electrologist confer a professional title on another one?

Tsk, tsk the one star electrologist limits their practice to states where there is no state board of electrologists, because they know they would be shut down by a state board for the simple reason that their credentials lack professional training and their ethics would not survive professional scrutiny. These so-called electrologists have no scruples or ethics, they adopt any title they see fit, their training is minimal with the average being 50 to 120 hours and very often they use faddish, unproven treatments. They use lasers, electric tweezers, microwave treatments, gels, ointments, Pico-flash and will tell you electrolysis is painful when it is not. After advertising themselves as electrologists they will switch you over to the dangerous ineffective laser, microwave, intense light treatments often without a physician present, as required by law. They lie to you while telling you the laser isn’t painful when the F.D.A. ruled that it’s illegal for them to advertise or claim permanent and painless hair removal. They also illegally advertise permanent hair removal by laser. The F.D.A. has ruled that only Electrologists may advertise “Permanent Hair Removal.” So if a so-called certified electrologist wants to give you laser treatments, ask them to put it in writing that it will be permanent and painless like they claim Laser Parlors also will ask you to pay up to $3000.00 in advance and they will finance and it will cost you a fortune in interest alone. Never pay in advance for Laser Treatments because if you can’t tolerate them you still have to pay for them.

For your safety always ask the Laser Parlor Operator for a written guarantee of permanent and painless hair removal before you part with your hard-earned money. It is very easy for them to switch you over to a laser treatment when you have unknowingly signed a consent form to have electrolysis treatments, unless you read the fine print carefully. When in Arizona beware of electrologists that claim to be certified professional electrologists, certified clinical electrologists, certified medical electrologists and the certified clinical and medical electrologists are store bought diplomas. If you have the slightest doubt or inkling they are not licensed call their state board of electrologists for verification. Make sure you call their State Board Of Electrologists, not the American Electrology Association who certified them. The only people that can license and register electrologist is a governmental State Board of Electrologists. If an electrologist claims to be a Certified Professional Electrologist they are not licensed and registered. There was an electrologist in Prescott, Arizona known as Betty Sullivan who claimed to be licensed but after an investigation they found out she was a licensed manicurist from Minnesota who does not have a state board of electrologists.

Hair Removal Facts & Warnings

THE FAKES AND HOW TO SPOT THEM AND AVOID THEM

THE CERTIFIED ELECTROLOGISTS AND THEIR DEFINITIONS.

It’s a known fact that certification titles do not mean a person is a state licensed and registered electrologist and good example is the Certified Professional Electrologist course. Always remember non-licensed electrologists try to appear and want you to think they are licensed and registered as an electrologist, example they use Jane Doe, C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist. Bonafide licensed and registered electrologists will always advertise, Kimberly Williams, R.E., Massachusetts Licensed & Registered electrologist.

For the record it is my professional opinion that the Certified Professional Electrologist that paltry certification course by itself does not prepare a layperson in any form or manner to be able to perform a safe competent electrolysis treatment. These questionable electrolysis certifications courses and diplomas appear, infer and bestow ornate diplomas and titles with credentials upon undeserving frauds who think that its alright to purchase an education and their credentials even the course they took was from 50 to 120 hours long. Additionally the certification tests are elementary grade school level hoaxes consisting of simple true and false and multiple-choice questions. In addition they do not require a high school diploma, background check nor do they require individuals to take an electrolysis “Practical Application” examination in any form or manner to prove they are competent. However in the end these desktop diploma mills turn out Certified Quacks that are an insult to honest licensed and registered electrologists that earned their credentials and successfully completed an accredited electrolysis school and passed their dual state board examinations.

Consumer beware I have compiled a list of titles that non-licensed electrologists frequently use. Other ways that non-licensed electrologists try to appear as licensed electrologists is to join multiple electrolysis associations, who do not require an electrologist to be educated, state licensed and registered as an electrologist for membership. I repeat these associations do not emphasize nor require state license and registration as an electrologist for membership nevertheless they wholeheartedly promote the proliferation of themselves as uneducated non-licensed Combination Electrologists Laser Parlor Operators.

THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION AND OTHER ELECTROLYSIS GROUPS DO NOT REQUIRE AN ELECTROLOGIST TO BE STATE LICENSED AND REGISTERED FOR MEMBERSHIP.

THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION: Is the ancestral home of the non-licensed C.P.E. AKA Certified Professional Electrologist course and approximately 90% or more of its members are not state licensed and registered electrologists.

The Society of Clinical and Medical Electrologists has changed it name to THE SOCIETY FOR CLINICAL & MEDICAL HAIR REMOVAL, INC. Fact electrologists are not required to be licensed to become a member and 90% of its of its members are not state licensed and registered electrologists.

TITLES THAT FAAKES MEMBERS USE:

C.C.E. Certified Clinical Electrologist, SCME

C.M.E. Certified Medical ElectrologiSt, SCME

C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist, AEA

Below Is A Classic Example Of A Certified Non-licensed Electrologist use of titles to fool the consumer that they are licensed and registered As An electrologist.

Graduate of the Arizona State School of Electrolysis (An electrolysis School that never existed) was not licensed as a school with the Arizona State Board of Post Secondary Education. The supposed owner of the school was Betty Sullivan an electrologist in Prescott, Arizona who claimed to be licensed in Minnesota. Nonetheless after an investigation they found out she was a licensed manicurist from Minnesota. Minnesota is another state that does not license and register electrologists in any form or manner.

However it is amusing that there is a one person who claims she graduated from the Arizona State School of Electrology and the Arizona State School of Electrolysis which are fictitious electrolysis and electrology schools that never existed in Arizona. For the record if you have been to an electrologist who claims to be a graduate of the Arizona State School of Electrology or The Arizona State School Of Electrolysis beware these schools never existed. Customarily the best electrolysis schools Deans have always provided and maintained a private practice for those seeking top-quality electrolysis treatments. Presently I maintain Boston Electrolysis ® Private Practice © as a full time practice and the Boston School Of Electrolysis website as a public enlightening resource of educational information for the consumer and electrologist. Before your treatment begins I do a complete in depth no fee history and evaluation using The Electrologists Diagnostic Case History Card ©, which was designed and written by myself. Furthermore, I perform all treatments with superlative American manufactured late-model State Of The Art R.A. Fischer CBX-Pro-Blend Series Four Computerized Epilators. In addition, I use predated Sterex sterilized disposable probes with triple sterilized instruments and gloves.

Don’t be misled when it comes to selecting your electrologist for safe permanent hair removal. Always be alert that an experienced knowledgeable, professionally educated, trained tested state licensed and registered electrologist is your best choice for safe permanent hair removal. In Arizona that’s easier said than done since most Arizonans are not aware that our state has not legislated an Arizona State Board Of Electrologists for testing and licensing requirements to practice electrolysis. Furthermore rampant desktop publishing of counterfeit electrolysis diplomas from fake electrolysis schools that never existed are everywhere. Without a verifiable education and practical training; non-licensed uneducated frauds are claiming or implying to be state licensed and registered electrologists. From my personal experience of having had a severe unwanted facial hair problem I know how painfully frustrating it is to lose valuable time and hard-earned resources. On the other hand what hurts the most are the educationally challenged non-licensed electrologists who lack the integrity to inform the client the truth about their educational status and limited abilities. Licensed electrologists are aware it’s ethically and morally wrong for amateur non-licensed electrologists to claim professional competency after completing a derisory 120-hour Certified Professional Electrologist course with no “Practical Testing” as the total of their electrolysis education. The non-licensed electrologists intentions could be admirable but do you believe it’s possible for an uneducated non-licensed electrologist to perform a competent professional grade electrolysis treatment with 120 hours of training?

Furthermore, requirements to become a Certified Professional Electrologist do not necessitate a high school diploma or a communicable disease health check-up. The non-licensed electrologists do not undergo a background check in any form or manner and the Certified Professional Electrologist examination is a cruel hoax at best, and an insult to consumers because there was no requisite practical examination to measure their actual skill level. This and other dubious certification courses costs a trifling $225.00 and anyone can become a Certified Professional Electrologist qualified by the American Electrology Association’s International Board of Electrologists Certification.

Presently I am one of the few licensed and registered electrologists in Arizona that specializes in the treatment of unwanted facial hair problems from minor to severe using the best American manufactured State Of The Art Computerized Epilators. In addition, if your unwanted hair problem is caused by genetic or an endocrine disorder such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Boston Electrolysis ® Private Practice © is your best choice for safe permanent hair removal. This is all possible because I have worked very hard to set up the Metro Phoenix areas first and only Polycystic Ovarian Clinic for unwanted hair problems. This means your electrolysis treatments could be coordinated with physician Barbara Lipschitz, M.D., Internal Medicine Specialist of the Central Phoenix Medical Clinic or your own physician. This is possible because endocrine disorders that cause a patient’s hormonal imbalances which in turn cause unwanted hair problems can now be diagnosed, corrected, improved and maintained by medications, treatments, and procedures. I succeed because I have worked hard to become educated and have dedicated my life to the advancement of my chosen profession as a licensed and registered electrologist with 33 years of experience. If you have an unwanted facial hair problem from minor to severe, I am the electrologist you can count on for safe permanent hair removal and for that reason that I take pride in my professional experience, abilities and expertise plus, I provide a written guarantee of excellence because, “I Practice Electrolysis as a Scientific Art With A Medical Approach©”.

BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS® SPECIALIZED TREATMENT FOR TRANS-WOMEN

Working with the Transgendered Community for as long as I can remember has been a rewarding and interesting experience. I have practiced electrolysis from my first day of school in 1976 until graduation from Miss Kelly’s School of Electrology in 1979. I opened my private practice that same year which means I have 36 years of professional experience. Throughout my life I have been a supporter and member of numerous TG Support groups. From 1983 to 1987 I was sought as a Guest Lecturer at Harvard Medical School and was awarded a letters of commendation and appreciation for a major new teaching venture at Harvard Medical School. At Harvard Medical School my lectures encompassed Endocrinology, Poly-Cystic-Ovarian-Syndrome, Histology, and Psychology, Pharmacology and Socio-Economic life experiences and challenges that Transgendered women endure and overcome. The theme of my lectures at Harvard Medical School where about psychological strength and endurance while being able to overcome the shortcomings of an indifferent complicated society where being different is often held against you. Most people are unaware that Transgendered Women are the world’s smallest least understood minority who survive in a diverse indifferent complicated society where it is ongoing struggle to maintain your dignity let alone identity. I still maintain contact with friends from Boston and Harvard Medical School and I had the opportunity to meet Christine Jorgenson and provide her my professional services when she toured New England and Massachusetts as a nightclub entertainer in the 1980’s. At Boston Electrolysis ® I apply my 36 years of expertise for all women who seek the best treatment and without one doubt, “I Practice Electrolysis as A Scientific Art with A Medical Approach©” which results in you having a beautiful hair free complexion.

All women at Boston Electrolysis ® receive quality electrolysis treatments regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, marital status, and socioeconomic status.

Hi, I’m a TG woman and just love Boston Electrolysis®. I’ve had four other electrologists. The last one here in Arizona made me feel like an ATM machine. Also the electrologists there were uneducated and not licensed. I didn’t like that at all ! So I looked around the internet and found Boston Electrolysis®. Unethical business tactics are used by the non-licensed electrologists who have circumvented traditional American values of fair play and honesty when it comes to “Permanent Hair Removal.” Honest state licensed and registered electrologists across America are professionals that have honored our work and chosen profession with a code of integrity with laws, rules and regulations that we live and abide by. Licensed and registered electrologists are at the crossroads where direct action must be taken that non-licensed electrologists shall be held accountable for mischievous unprofessional illegal unethical conduct and behavior. Licensed and registered electrologists are obligated to inform and educate the public that we are the only bonafide professional practitioners of electrolysis to practice. HOW TO RATE YOUR ELECTROLOGIST©

If you are an Arizona resident with an unwanted facial hair problem you are concerned about quality electrolysis for safe permanent hair removal. This article will help you learn how to rate an electrologist. However regarding the lack of a professional education by an uneducated non-licensed electrologist leaves allot to be desired. It is most important that all consumers learn how to evaluate an electrologist to understand the safety of electrolysis practiced by a Massachusetts Licensed & Registered Electrologists and the dangers of temporary laser hair removal practiced by non-licensed personnel. For the record all competent state licensed and registered electrologist who possess a requisite basic fundamental professional education, which is the cornerstone foundation to provide you with a safe comfortable treatment to achieve your goal of safe permanent hair removal.

Below is the Boston Electrolysis Five Star Electrolysis-Electrology rating system, for which I have received positive comments, coupled with some harassment and from fake non-licensed amateurs claiming to be a Certified Professional Electrologist, Certified Clinical Electrologist, and Certified Medical Electrologist. One individual claims to be the only graduate of the Arizona School of Electrolysis and the Arizona School of Electrology which are fabricated schools that never existed. This properly licensed and registered electrologist is fed up with all the hoaxes perpetrated upon our electrolysis profession by unqualified, uneducated, non-licensed electrologists. For the record I am the only licensed and registered electrologist in Arizona that provides every patient with a written guarantee of excellence.

How To Rate An Electrologist
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Five stars is always the best rating. It means that your Electrologist is educated, trained, tested and is a State Licensed and Registered Electrologist. Five Star Electrologists have attended and graduated from a state monitored and nationally approved and accredited electrolysis school. They have also taken a dual written and practical State Board of Electrologists examination and successfully passed them, and are currently a licensed and registered. Licensed and registered have a responsibility to obey the rules and regulations of their State Board of Electrologists..

Two stars are for non-licensed and non-registered electrologists who have taken a paltry course of 120 hours or less. These electrologists purchase memberships and credentials to electrologists’ associations that do not require an electrologist to be licensed and registered in addition they use counterfeit bloated certificates, exaggerated titles and fancy schmancy ornate diplomas to appear professional. They often claim they are a certified professional electrologist. They put multiple initials after their names and list non-licensed organizations to look impressive, but you would be surprised that you could complete their 50 to 12O hour 1st grade course they took with ease.

Beware of Fake Arizona Electrolysis & Electrology Schools

When in Arizona beware of electrologists that claim to be certified professional electrologists, certified clinical electrologists, certified medical electrologists and the certified clinical and medical electrologists are store bought diplomas. If you have the slightest doubt or inkling they are not licensed call their state board of electrologists for verification. Make sure you call their State Board Of Electrologists, not the American Electrology Association who certified them. The only people that can license and register electrologist is ITS governmental State Board of Electrologists.

THE FAKE ELECTROLOGISTS AND HOW TO SPOT THEM

It’s a known fact that quick buck certification titles do not mean a person is a state licensed and registered electrologist and good example is the Certified Professional Electrologist course. Always remember non-licensed electrologists in states like Arizona try to appear and want you to believe they are licensed and registered as an electrologist, example they use Jane Doe, C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist. Bonafide licensed and registered electrologists will always advertise, Kimberly Williams, R.E., Massachusetts Licensed & Registered electrologist.

For the record it is my professional opinion that the Certified Professional Electrologist is a paustic certification course and by itself does not prepare a layperson in any form or manner to be able to perform a safe competent electrolysis treatment. These questionable quick buck electrolysis certifications courses and diplomas appear, infer and bestow ornate diplomas and titles with credentials upon undeserving frauds who think that its alright to purchase an education and their credentials even the course they took was from 50 to 120 hours long.

I repeat these associations do not emphasize nor require state license and registration as an electrologist for membership nevertheless they wholeheartedly promote the proliferation of themselves as poorly uneducated non-licensed electrologists.

THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION AND OTHER ELECTROLYSIS GROUPS DO NOT REQUIRE AN ELECTROLOGIST TO BE STATE LICENSED AND REGISTERED FOR MEMBERSHIP.

THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION: Is the ancestral home of the C.P.E. AKA Certified Professional Electrologist course sells the fakes an ornate desk top diploma and approximately 90% or more of its members are not state licensed and registered electrologists.

AKA Certified Professional Electrologist course and approximately 90% or more of its members are not state licensed and registered electrologists.
TITLE USED: C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist
THE INTERNATIONAL GUILD OF PROFESSIONAL ELECTROLOGISTS
Title Members USE: Member of (IGPE)International Guild of Professional electrologists changed its name to The International Guild of Hair Removal Specialists, Inc. (IGHRS)
Title Members USE: (IGHRS) AKA International Guild Hair Removal Specialist
The Society of Clinical and Medical Electrologists has changed it name to THE SOCIETY FOR CLINICAL & MEDICAL HAIR REMOVAL, INC. Fact electrologists are not required to be licensed to become a member and 90% of its of its members are not state licensed and registered electrologists.
FAKE TITLES THAT MEMBERS USE:
C.C.E. Certified Clinical Electrologist, SCME
C.M.E. Certified Medical Electrologsit, SCME
C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist, AEA
Below Is A Classic Example Of A Certified Non-licensed Electrologist use of titles to fool the consumer that they are licensed and registered As An electrologist.
Mary De Fake, C.P.E., AEA, IGPE, SCME, TGRE
Graduate, Arizona State School of Electrology (An Electrology School That Never Existed)
Graduate of the Arizona State School of Electrolysis (An electrolysis School that never existed) was not licensed as a school with the Arizona State Board of Post Secondary Education. The supposed owner of the school was Betty Sullivan a self taught do it yourself electrologist in Prescott, Arizona who claimed to be licensed in Minnesota.
Fact you call the Arizona State Board Of Post Secondary education at 602-542-5769 and ask for Keith Blanchard, Deputy Director to confirm these schools never existed. You can email the assistant director Keith.Blanchard@azppse.state.az.us to confirm these schools never existed. In addition you can read a letter from Keith Blanchard Deputy Director of The Arizona State Board Of Post Secondary Education where he states there is no record of this school.
Below are associations that certify electrologists without being tested for the Practical Application of Electrolysis and Electrology.
Member of the American Electrology Association
Member of Society of Clinical and Medical Electrologists
Member of International Guild of Professional Electrologists

Laser Hair Removal Causes Paradoxical Hypertrichosis AKA Uncontrollable Facial Hair Growth on Woman!!!
Why Electrolysis is Approved by the FDA

Yes, electrolysis has proven itself safe and permanently removes hair from all skin types. It is the only FDA-approved form of permanent hair removal treatment. Since, 1876 electrolysis has permanently destroys the growth cells in the hair follicles, the hair will not grow back.…

LASER HAIR REMOVAL:

AMERICA’S MOST DANGEROUS UNPROVEN TECHNOLOGY®

The hidden truth is that laser parlors who claim permanent hair- reduction are lying to you. However Laser Parlors who advertise as Permanent Hair Removal are violating FDA laws and statutes that forbid Laser Parlors from claiming permanent hair removal period. Those that claim permanent hair removal are liars. They know that your hair is still going to eventually grow back. It’s a fact many laser parlors lies in their advertising. To counteract these lies I have pre-printed forms and envelopes addressed to the FDA making it possible to have same day complaints to the FDA and state authorities’ for false advertising.

Laser Parlors should be required to inform their clients they will need touch-ups for the rest of their lives. Laser operators lie like felons and advertise they do electrolysis when they do not and the public should report them for false advertising. Most people are not informed they will need touch-ups are typically needed at least up to eight times a year for the rest of your life’s..

Boston Electrolysis® & Boston School of Electrolysis Scientific Thesis on temporary laser hair removal, as compared to Electrolysis, Thermolysis and Blend which are the only proven medical technology that can legally claim Permanent Hair Removal and which is approved by the FDA.

Boston Electrolysis® CEO Kimberly Williams, R.E., Dean, to Consumers at large,

Kimberly Williams, R.E, Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist wants you know its 2021 and after twenty-four -years since 1997 temporary laser hair removal is “America’s Most Dangerous Unproven Technology”. The so called Laser Parlor Industry has failed to prove that laser hair removal works and it is not safe. I’m Kimberly Williams, R.E. and I have been a Massachusetts licensed and registered electrologist since 1979. With 42 years of professional experience I have dedicated my life to my chosen profession. It’ my professional opinion to make you aware of the existing problems of dangerous temporary laser hair removal a business experiencing on ongoing deteriorating growth largely through a complete lack of regulation, oversight and ethics due to greed. It is also important, however, to provide full information regarding the Electrolysis profession – the safe alternative and the only known method that achieves permanent hair removal. This educational report is quite extensive but I believe the public should be well informed; every consumer or patient has the right to complete information, especially regarding procedures that have a lasting effect on their personal appearance and consequently, their self esteem. Everybody wants a healthy complexion, but there are many discrepancies in the quality of the treatments available from non-licensed poorly educated Laser Hair Removal Parlors in the USA. The state where I was educated and began my practice, Massachusetts, has the most stringent requirements in the United States for licensing of Electrologists, so I have a unique perspective on this situation.

This report is based on the truth and the fact that there is no hard scientific evidence to prove that temporary laser hair removal is safe. Much of the information is, to my knowledge, being published by the layman for the first time… Desperate Laser Parlor Operators routinely advertise under electrolysis key words such as permanent hair removal and is written in a deceptive manner that any intelligent person is aware that Lasers Parlors very rarely tell the truth using fake before and after pictures and false advertising under electrolysis. In this article each scientific term is cross-referenced and defined exhibits and proves that laser hair removal is built upon a mountain of lies… I am providing this report to not only to consumers but to every post in the Food and Drug Administration AKA the FDA.

Boston Electrolysis® Report and Continuing Thesis Why the

Laser Hair Removal does not work on Grey Hairs, White Hairs, Blonde hairs.

Why temporary laser hair removal treatment depends largely on a patient’s skin and hair color. In my professional opinion the supposed Laser Hair Reduction process laser parlor operators lie like rugs. Laser Parlors Operators claim the best results are seen with dark hairs and light skin. However white, grey and blonde hairs are immune to the laser and red hairs are resistant to temporary laser hair removal with poor results and tragically burned skin. It’s a proven light black hair’s become bigger and tougher because laser emits excessive heat that increases the blood supply to the hairs germinative papillae making hairs growing bigger and stronger because the excessive the laser the dilates blood-vessels which increase nutrients the nourish the hair.. They say Laser Parlor operators go Ga Ga when a client that is light-skinned black dark-haired people because the light from these lasers is absorbed by the dark pigment in the hair, also known as melanin. However they never ever mention that smallest laser beam is the size of dime up to a quarter… The poorly educated laser parlor operators use magical babble Buck Rogers lingo to explain that the cancer causing Ultraviolet radiation fails to accurately target the papillae which is at least a quarter inch deep invisible to the laser and to the laser parlor operator..

The say laser parlor operators target the dark pigment in the shaft to the very base of the hair follicle which is the germinative papillae. The hair absorbs the laser energy causes the hair to heat up and hold the heat. They claim heat damages the hair root stunting future hair growth by targeting the germinative papillae.

Why is grey-haired is not generally suitable for laser hair removal?

Grey and white hair as well as blonde and light red hairs lack pigment therefore it is difficult for lasers parlor operators to detect and treat if not impossible. When a hair has no pigment to target it fails to permanently remove the hair. Trying zap away the hair, thus making laser hair removal an ineffective treatment for grey-hairs, white hairs, red hairs and blond hairs. What a waste of time because poorly educated Laser Parlor Operators cannot comprehend the laser hair removal is scam that does not work and in prime condition of black hairs on white skin it makes the hairs grow bigger

LASER STIMULATION HAIR GROWTH AS SEEN ON TELEVISION & YOUTUBE

If you watch TV we have all seen the Laser Baseball Cap the increases blood supply and hair growth by increase of blood to the papillae at the base of the follicle. I saw young girls with light black hairs increase in size that was stimulated by their laser hair removal treatments. Seeing is believing and there is no doubt that the supposed laser hair removal treatments stimulate hair growth. She was surprised the electrolysis permanently removed her hair while the laser has always been a failure for the last 24 years since its inception…

The Ultimate Hair Growth Cap – HairMax 272 PowerFlex For Maximum Results As a Massachusetts Licensed & Registered Electrologist since 1979 I have seen many case were women with light skin and dark hairs underwent laser hair removal treatments that made their unwanted facial hair problems ten time as bad. This is one of the reasons why the Laser Hair Removal industry is in financial trouble and offers 70 and 90% Discounts.

It’s a fact temporary laser removal is a total abject failure and don’t forget laser hair has burned and permanently disfigure many women with first, second and third degree burns from the cancer causing Ultra-Violet Radiation that lasers hair removal emits. On the other hand the Laser Parlor Industry target one youth after another generation however in my professional opinion it is not worth the risk of making your unwanted hair problem from becoming worse in addition to possibly suffering third degree burns that cannot be surgically repaired.

LASER PARLOR OPERATORS BECOME LOAN SHARKS

Many Laser Parlors have become loan sharks making easy to go in debt. However are never painful but after signed and legally trapped they the heat. you watch TV we have all seen the Laser Baseball Cap the increases blood supply to the hair by causing the increase of heat which increases blood to the papillae. I saw young girl with light black hairs increase in size that was stimulated by laser hair removal treatment. Seeing is believing and there is no doubt that the supposed laser hair removal treatments stimulate hair growth. She was frustrated the laser hair removal failed to remove her hair and caused more hair growth on her face/.

The History of the Electrolysis Industry

The history of Electrolysis and Electrology would surprise most people. My profession was founded in 1876 for the purpose of relieving “Trichiasis” (inflamed infected ingrown hairs of the eyelid). This condition left untreated can result in blindness. In 1952 the profession was among the first to use sophisticated solid-state equipment. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts formed a state board and began requiring licensing and registration for Electrologists in 1959, and in time there were similar state boards in 32 states (although Arizona still lacks one). In 1985 Computerized Programmable Epilators became available, and in 1996 the FDA upgraded electrolysis equipment to the status of a class one medical device. Electrologists alone have been granted the right by the FDA to legally claim, “Permanent Hair Removal” while the paltry laser hair removal fails in all categories and the FDA has barred laser parlor operators from claiming and advertising Permanent Hair Removal. However some Laser Parlor Operators can claim permanent hair reduction while Licensed and Registered Electrologists are FDA approved to claim and advertise Permanent Hair Removal. Our field is fully professional with a medical discipline in fact, and the reason for the virulent opposition to a state board here is the fact that many in the business would be out of work after failing the sort of examinations real Electrologists must pass to be licensed. These hold-outs prefer a 50-hour excuse for training course they can breeze through, usually in one week instead of years, ultimately at the expense of their patients. The Electrolysis-Electrology profession has, since its inception has undergone extremely close scrutiny by FDA, AMA, Underwriters Laboratories and every State Board of Electrologists. Our equipment is F.D.A. approved, tested by Underwriters Laboratories and U.P.E.M.A. (United Professional Epilators Manufacturers Association). That’s why Electrologists have the sole right to advertise “Permanent Hair Removal” because were educated, licensed, trained and has to maintain Certified Educational Upgrades.

I work closely with physicians regarding endocrinology, electrolysis, and micro eye-surgery for Trichiasis. I also work with epileptic patients who use medications such Dilantin, a drug which causes extreme hair problems in women and men. I try to see if it is possible to work with the Neurologist, possibly changing the medications to an alternate drug that does not create a hair problem, making the treatments shorter for the patient.

Boston Electrolysis®, Study Why Arizona needs a State Board of Electrologists?

I am not your typical Electrologist in Arizona, a state with no requirements to become one, no professional training, license or registration requirements. Arizona is so lax you can take a weekend course and become a “Certified Electrologist”, “Certified Expert Electrologist”, “Certified Technical Electrologist”; you can make up or purchase any title you want. Arizona desperately needs a State Board to protect the consumer from charlatans, quacks and laser operators with dangerously insufficient training. Here are some reports that demonstrate why.

These practitioners advertise right along with the very few State Licensed and Registered Electrologists and mimic our advertising. The consumer has no way to know if they are qualified. These unlicensed operators have harassed and bad mouthed the few Registered Electrologists who have made the effort to become educated licensed and registered Electrologists. They make unqualified, unsubstantiated claims. Their equipment, much of the time, is not FDA approved or up to date; they think that the purchase of their first epilator is lifetime investment. Their use of bloated titles and manufactured credentials give the consumer a false sense of trust in them. (Without a state board of Electrologists to regulate certification and maintain standards, the word “certification” doesn’t mean much.) Many patients have already had tragic experiences with laser hair removal, for example. They’ve been badly scarred, and this is not the most severe injury caused by this temporary laser hair removal technique as practiced by our “Certified” Electrologists. Much worse are disfiguring burns. One has to wonder how many we won’t see – those having signed non-disclosure agreements as part of an insurance settlement. Many such claims have been paid; it happens quite often. The payments soothe the victim’s pain only to a certain point. Many will have their disfigurations for years, or even the rest of their lives. Is this worth it? This irrevocably harms the patient’s appearance, well being and self-esteem. This gives the few of us who are truly dedicated and competent State Licensed and Registered Electrologists a bad image that is difficult at times to overcome.

A State Board of Electrologists, with licensing and registration, is needed to assure professional standards and safety. I’ve always felt that Arizona is a progressive state, but not in this. We have absolutely no Legislation or standards enforcement of the Electrolysis-Electrology profession, or the as yet unproven Temporary Laser Hair Removal Industry. There are licensing and registration requirements for every other profession in Arizona, so I must ask: Who Forgot the Electrologists? Electrolysis is a professional medical occupation in which no mistakes can be made without leaving a scar or pit or physical deformity. Most of the “Certified” Electrologists are using the Laser supposedly under the guidance of physicians, but by law, the doctor does not have to be present, just “on call”. They advertise membership in Electrologists Associations that have no real requirements to join and who grant them their exaggerated titles and certifications, which look impressive in their frames, but are worth very little. Their training lasts a month or less. Certification courses for Electrolysis should be banned outright for the simple reason that they don’t teach the skill level necessary to become a competent Electrologist.

Laser treatments emit dangerous Ultraviolet Radiation which can be extremely painful and cause skin caser. However l they offer dangerous anesthetic injections for the pain not only because of the inherent nature of the process that can cause necrotic lesions because of the operator’s lack of training. Many of them are not trained at all. A State Licensed and Registered Electrologist, on the other hand, can provide a very comfortable treatment. There is nothing inherently painful in genuine electrology. Before looking for a qualified Electrologist, read my Five Star Rating System©, and ask yourself if you would go to a Physician who did not finish or even attend medical school, or pass the Medical State Boards.

Laser parlors should not be allowed to imply that they can remove hair permanently; the FDA has denied them permission to do so. They make unsubstantiated exotic claims of painless permanent hair reduction to the uninformed public. Professional schooling for Electrologists that result in licensing and registration is available on states near Arizona such as California, Utah, New Mexico and Oregon. Why does Arizona not have a State Board of Electrologists to protect its citizens? Because the uneducated non-licensed Electrologists in voted it down because did not understand the term that their licenses would be grandfathered in…

How it would work

Upon the formation of a state board, “grandfathering” in of certified or non- registered Electrologists would be most unwise, resulting in a confused mess of differing standards, and in no change to the lack of professional competency for the most part. Now, I am really going to be forward! I would like to offer my professional services to set up an Arizona State Board of Registration of Electrologists that would require supposedly certified individuals to take a “State Sponsored requisite course in Electrolysis”, to achieve basic professional standards, competency, and most important, ethics.

This could done without causing undue hardship to the lay electrologist who could attend a one-day a week seminar for three hundred hours of professional training. Most but not all non-licensed certified Electrologists ought to have the opportunity to be true professionals and become licensed and registered Electrologists. Newcomers would be required to attend a private professionally accredited school with more training. Without a doubt I could train all the lay Electrologists myself. Our profession in Arizona needs help and professional guidance.

At one the defunct the defunct Arizona Electrology Association had four non-licensed electrologist AKA members, to the best my knowledge, does not have a single licensed and registered member and has not sought State Licensing and Registration since its inception and it’s closing 1991. In fact, there was a referendum 1989 to have a State Board but the members though they would be required to attend an electrolysis school so they voted it down.

This is why the Electrolysis and Electrology professions and its practitioners should be licensed and registered as medical specialists; there is no room for error in our profession without serious consequences for the consumer. I rest my case on that issue.

BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS®

THE DANGERS OF LASER HAIR REMOVAL

I have a reputation for being blunt, so I will go straight to the point. From the perspective of 34 years of professional experience I can tell you that the lasers that are presently used, and touted as a superior technique, are a danger and menace to the public.

Let’s deal strictly with the facts: Most lasers on the market today are built inexpensively and sold at a high profit with no set amount of training or credentials required to operate them. Lasers are dangerous. You can purchase a laser pointer for under $40 with a warning on the label clearly stating not to point it in someone’s eye at the risk of causing blindness. The much more powerful Medical Lasers used for temporary hair removal are being used by people with minimal training! These “Certified Electrologists” tell you that Electrolysis is painful to convince you to submit to laser treatments, which they say are not. But when I do a consultation and case history on each new patient it seems that a majority have suffered some painful skin damage from laser treatments, from moderate to severe. They tell me they were intentionally deceived, told that it was painless and removed hair permanently, when the FDA has ruled that it is illegal to advertise the Laser as painless and permanent. Additionally, they advertise in the Yellow Pages under Electrolysis, yet they are not Electrologists. Electrolysis is a specific technique, which they do not in fact practice. Isn’t this deceptive advertising?

Laser hair removal is, unfortunately, common enough that if laser parlors advertised under that heading, their customers would find them. Instead, they plant their ads right next to those of real Electrologists. I doubt the State would remain uninvolved if acupuncturists or faith healers buried their ads among those of surgeons, or for that matter, pet sitters advertised under “day care centers”. This situation is precisely the same. Many ads are sensationalistic, with perfect air-brushed models. I realize that sex sells. But I realize too that this has little connection with professionalism, skill and credentials.

The medical profession has been trying to make incursions into our field for years, with new, easier techniques, none of which has been successful. From the thirties to the fifties they used X-Rays for hair removal. It worked; radiation therapy makes your hair fall out, but the AMA banned it after the cancer rate jumped. There were pills with nasty side effects. Every ten to fifteen years the Electrolysis-Electrology profession is besieged by some new wonder treatment. Now we have the latest interloper in our profession, the Laser Parlor Operator aka LPO.>

The tide is turning, for thirty-four states now require Licensing and Registration to practice Electrolysis-Electrology. We have always accepted and welcomed those who are willing to make the grade and the effort to seek a professional education and proper State Licensing and Registration. Most “certified” laser practitioners would fail the requirements. If there was one single unbiased, independent, scientific double-blind study with corroborating data that laser did not harm the tissue, did not permanently discolor or prematurely age the skin in the treated area, and permanently removed hair, I would use it. I would have purchased the first Laser for hair removal based on proven scientific data without hesitation. There is none. So I will not sacrifice my ethics for quick money, beside someone has to ethics.

There are no secondary independent studies (such as Underwriters Laboratories) as to the true effectiveness of laser equipment that I am aware of. Here is how they work: They use a broad beam laser, where the smallest beam is the diameter of a dime. The orifice or entrance to the hair follicle, in contrast, is maybe two to five thousands of an inch in diameter. The depth of follicle is anywhere from 1/8 or 1/16 inch to an inch deep. An evaluation to see if the follicle is distorted or curved, ingrown, inflamed or infected is mandatory. I would like to know how this evaluation is done by laser techs. Without proper medical protocol the consumer/patient is being put at risk physically and emotionally. The patient could run the risk of severe infection and irreparable skin damage. These people are not informed that there are some ill-trained physicians who make wild, unsubstantiated claims about the laser, or about the FDA rules and regulations. Why are there no standardized requisites for the training of laser operators that result in a license and registration? I have personally searched the web and put inquiries out for independent agencies such as Underwriters Laboratories and others. To date I have not been able to find one independent double blind study!

One strict law of physics that laser operators have not so far disproved is that laser light travels in a straight line. How can laser operators make the claim that the laser beam travels down the curved follicle hair shafts? Would they please provide the proof that they can bend light?

Patients with white or blonde hair are told the laser is an ineffective treatment. Patients with dark complexions are told they could suffer a permanent loss of pigmentation. A broad beam laser is painful. The heat generated by the laser beam will have to travel 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch to destroy the root of the follicle. In order to reach the depths needed for true (as claimed) permanent hair removal, a laser would have to burn off the first two layers of skin: the (stratum-corneum) (granular layer) and the Malpighian layer which protect the body from infection. This is why laser operators be should be required to inform the patient that they could end up with permanent skin discoloration and scarring, especially people of darker skin. In the Corium layer of the skin we also have free nerve endings, pain receptors, touch receptors and sebaceous glands (hormonally controlled glands that keep the skin soft and supple with the excretion of sebaceous oil, without which our skin would be dry and flaky). The Sebaceous glands oil protects the skin from the elements such as sunlight and the cold. For the Laser to achieve total destruction of the root of the hair (the Papilla is the germinative part of the hair) it must sacrifice the microorganisms of the skin. This is disastrous to the functionality of your skin. It destroys the collagen fibers which control the elasticity of the skin, critical for skin tone, Mechanoreceptors (Pachianian Corpuscle) Pressure and Vibration Receptors. The Appocrine and Eccrine Sebaceous glands are destroyed. The Suderiferous Gland, otherwise known as the sweat gland, is lost in the area treated by the Laser. Sensory and Autonomic Nerve fibers along with veins and arteries which nourish the skin, let alone provide skin sensations such as being burned or frozen, are lost in the treated area. These skin functions are lost when they are burned. Look at skin that has been burned and you will see the proof.

The germinative papilla or root of the hair usually lies at the top of the subcutaneous tissue where the couplers (blood supply) that nourish each individual hair are located. Not all follicles produce hair and they are damaged or permanently destroyed too. The smallest laser beam used for hair removal is dime sized in diameter; most are the diameter of a quarter or nickel. What happens to the skin and all its microorganisms where there is no hair? It’s easy to see that to get a few hairs that are not concentrated; you must destroy a lot of surrounding tissue. This is a lack of medical common sense. Who established this unprofessional medical protocol?

I know that if properly informed, patients would be most unwilling to sacrifice their skin to rid themselves of their unwanted hair. In one square inch of skin there are four yards of nerve fibers, 1300 nerve cells, 100 sweat glands, three million cells and three yards of blood vessels. Yet there is not one nerve fiber inside the follicle. A professionally trained Electrologist can avoid nerve fibers.

Doctors are always telling patients, “Stay out of the sun because it damages the skin.” What could happen if the intense heat and ultraviolet radiation produced by a laser triggered a dormant basal or squamous or basal skin cancer cell? Have you ever thought of how hot a laser is? Of course everyone wants to have healthy beautiful skin but the safety of the laser is not proven. Should we play “Russian Roulette” with our health with a quick fix that has not proven to be permanent? Until the Laser can be proven safe and effective in a double blind study with honest test results, laser hair removal should be banned for the safety of the public. Only a physician should be allowed to use a laser for scientific research. Quite a few states have pending legislation, limiting laser use to physicians. I am in total agreement with that.

One must realize that all the body’s defensive micro-organs that protect us could be compromised or be lost permanently in areas burned by a laser. Infection is the biggest risk to a severe burn victim (See my Info-Laser- Links). Certain large areas such as legs could be rendered completely dysfunctional and be permanently scarred.

I have recently been the target of a particular laser company who used the foulest obscene language in a response to this report! Then he said, “I’m just trying to show you how to make more f—–g money”. All for the fact that I made an honest complaint about their illegal advertising and strong-arm business Tactics. These people make phony appointments and threatening phone calls to me. They’re real brave, aren’t they? This was a representative of Medical Doctor’s office. There is nothing wrong with free enterprise except when its laws are violated and its ethics, which I cherish, are flushed down the toilet. Certified Electrologists slander me for printing the truth. If they keep it up I will just work harder. I’ll publish their education and qualifications and compare them to mine, most notably the ones who took the correspondence courses in electrolysis that total no more than 100 hours.

A broad beamed, dime size diameter laser is missing its intended microscopic target, the papilla. The microscopic opening of the hair shaft and all its essential microorganisms are permanently damaged and lost. The only laser operators that do not damage your skin are the ones who turn the laser down so low that it only burns the hair off at the surface of the skin. Of course then the patient still has the hair problem; they now suffer from PLOM (permanent loss of money). That’s why patients who come to me who have had this form of laser treatment still have their hair problem. Gee, I wonder why? The ones who had the intense laser treatment have some hair-free treated areas where the skin has obviously been burned. We were taught in Electrolysis school that hair will not grown on scar tissue. These patients’ skin has been permanently discolored and burned and they still have most or all of their unwanted hair problems. From the base of the interior structure of the follicle known as the papillae to the orifice there are no nerve fibers inside it, so if you’re having treatment performed by an educated competent, licensed and registered electrologist who has the proper skill; you will find your treatments surprisingly comfortable.

The FDA states, “The Laser cannot be advertised as painless”. We know this is true because burning skin hurts. A professionally trained electrologist does not allow this damage to happen. Yet, when I read the Yellow Pages all I can see are claims that lasers are a painless, permanent, gentle treatment and superior over electrolysis and all other forms of hair removal. Look in any Yellow Pages telephone book under Electrolysis to see what I mean. These Certified “Wonder” Electrologists advertise reasonably priced laser treatments- on one Laser Web Site one advertises how excruciatingly painful electrolysis is and never mentions how painful the laser is. Of course some people are not aware of the FDA ruling that laser operators cannot advertise laser treatments as painless. Is the laser operator unaware? She also has an electrolysis web site, in which she proclaims how comfortable electrolysis treatments are. It sounds like someone is playing on both sides of the fence to get both hands into your pockets. Gee, I wonder where all those phony phone calls come from.

The electrolysis profession has always used all FDA approved equipment, and our profession is one hundred and seventeen years old. All our equipment is scrutinized and approved by the FDA. The AMA also approves electrolysis. Have they approved the laser? The FDA is besieged by unimaginable numbers of lobbyists and aggressive marketers, or should I say racketeers, trying to get approval for it. The electrolysis machine has been classified as a class one medical device that has stood the test of time, and now we have state of the art computerized equipment. The best Electrologists use computerized epilators that are up to date. The gray area in which laser operators advertise warrants a full-scale investigation. They have not proven the safety of their equipment, established professional guidelines, or real schools where the course results in a License and Registration. There is no uniformity of standards in their business. I think it is most unfair that they have gotten away with operating in such a manner for so long.

I’m from Massachusetts, though I like to use the expression “I’m from Missouri”. Let’s see them prove their claims with valid scientific data. All their equipment should be tested by honest and reliable independent organizations such as Underwriters Laboratories. After fourteen years to this day not one laser manufacturer has presented their laser hair removal equipment for a double blind study. I wonder why?

I truly believe that the laser should be banned and laser parlors should have their advertising for false claims and promises and it is proven (or made) safe and effective. Right now, physicians should be the only ones to use this equipment, which ought to be considered experimental at this stage. I wonder though, after this thesis is published, if they would have volunteers? And laser operators should advertise among themselves, in their own category, not under electrolysis. They should not be allowed to damage the reputation of an established profession by passing themselves off as fake members of it.

Laser Parlors routinely lie and Electrolysis Key Words like Short-Wave- Blend and Thermolysis Treatments. When their unsuspecting clients arrive they she had to go home or some other lie however they do have a laser tech available. If you want catch them in a lie tell them to guarantee you, Permanent Hair Removal. Laser Parlor Operators cringe when they hear three words.

The biggest Red Flag they have is they will offer to finance you treatments and do not sign on their dotted line because there are high interest loans that take advantage of you the consumer. It’s a known fact that most Laser Parlors have “professional closers” that use Senegali Hypnosis Tactics. In addition that collection agency thugs and other low life to ruin your life. Another red flag is when Laser Parlor operator tells you that temporary laser hair removal is painless! The FDA ruled that Laser Parlors cannot claim or advertise permanent hair removal or painless hair removal in any form or manner.

My Credentials

My professional schooling in electrolysis and electrology consisted of the following; 500 hours in Theoretical Sciences, Endocrinology, Histology, Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Hygiene, Sanitation and Sterilization, plus Electricity and Professional Ethics, while simultaneously taking 600 hours of practical application, for a total of 1100 hours of profession education. The Massachusetts State Board of Registration of Electrologists monitored my grades during my training. Upon completion of the requisites you are required to complete a patient thesis, Mid-term and final examinations plus a two-hour written State Board Examination and one hour practical examination. I successfully completed these examinations and was awarded a Massachusetts License and was designated a Registered Electrologist. I was awarded a diploma and issued a pocket license still current today. I graduated from Miss Kelly’s School of Electrology in 1979, one of the oldest and the best schools in the country for my chosen profession. Massachusetts began licensing and registering Electrologists in 1959, the first state in the nation to do so. Even though I live and work in Arizona I run my practice as if I were in Massachusetts and keep my license and registration current. In essence that means that a state board inspector could walk in any time with no warning, and inspect my office, equipment, hygiene and sanitation and sterilization equipment and cleanliness.

After completing the above mentioned, I authored, edited and published the Scientific Electrologist© editions 1, 2, 3 & 4, The Electrologist’s Diagnostic Case History© and booklet with instructions, The Electrologist’s Insertion Guide©, and the Electrologist Encyclopedia© and last but not least, this Scientific Thesis, LASER HAIR REMOVAL: AMERICA’S MOST DANGEROUS UNPROVEN TECHNOLOGY©

Also, I was a distributor and factory representative for a leading R.A. Fischer Company a manufacturer of medical grade Electronics Corporation, which allowed me unlimited access to the modern computerized epilators (electrolysis equipment). All my equipment that I use is FDA approved and has earned the approval seal of Underwriters Laboratories “Seal of Quality.” In addition I was the first Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist in the USA to use computerized epilators in 1985. The equipment I use has the highest U.P.E.M.A rating (United Professional Epilators Manufacturers Association).

Finally, I was sought out as a guest lecturer at Harvard Medical School from 1983-1987 on the subjects of Human Sexuality, Psychology, endocrinology and electrolysis. Since my basic education I have graduated from numerous schools to enhance my medical education. I am also qualified as professional witness for victims who have been permanently burned or disfigured.

To summarize: There are too many unanswered questions about America’s most dangerous unproven technology. The law requires that all equipment and personnel who use it are to report injuries and damage that has harmed a patient’s physical appearance and emotionally damaged that person. Eventually, when more attention is paid and testing becomes required, every malpractice report and incident should be mandated by the FDA to become public through the Federal Freedom of Information Act of 1974. Instead, most claims are paid by insurance companies who then pass off the increased cost to the consumer. Not only does the victim suffer, but the public does too, by increased health care costs. If I were contemplating have laser treatments I would make sure my insurance company offered palliative care, so check you’re insurance if you are going to take such a risk. When an individual whose only goal was to improve their appearance ends up permanently deformed with second and third degree burns that cannot be repaired by plastic surgery, ask you, what is their final outcome? Their final outcome is shame and devastating depression because of their ruined appearance for the rest of their lives. They are left with only one recourse and that is to file a lawsuit which takes years to come to a fair and just settlement. For that is the way the system operates, big insurance companies have big lawyers and their legal strategy is to prevent or prolong the victim’s compensation as long as possible.

If the laser had properly been tested by at least two bona fide independent testing agencies that had not one financial interest, in my professional opinion this untested dangerous laser technology would never have been allowed to be used. The Laser was never designed or intended in any manner to facilitate safe, permanent hair removal and it is illegal for the Laser Industry to advertise permanent hair removal in any form. If every case where a patient had been physically and emotionally mutilated was required by law to be reported, these tragedies would not continue. Instead the victims were paid off (out of court settlement). When you settle a malpractice claim out of court the injuring party requires that you sign a waiver never to divulge it publicly or privately. If every one of these inhuman atrocities was made public it would result in FDA investigation. In addition, they should be required by law to properly prove and test their product, their practitioners and last but not least, their non-existent ethics. The lobbyists and big money, big marketers who have rushed this dangerous, untested technology through our government should be investigated for that reason alone! With finical clout and lobbying the Laser Industry keeps on moving its special interests through our government and that undermines our civil rights and the safety checks and laws that were put in place to protect you the public from harm. That these individuals can do such physical and emotional harm to a fellow human being is morally wrong. These people have sold their souls for greed and avarice. How they are able to go home and sleep at night clearly demonstrates their total lack of humanity.

The Laser Industry has attacked the Electrolysis-Electrology profession since its conception in 1996. They have slandered us and accused the Electrolysis-Electrology profession of only being interested in maintaining the Status Quo. Well, they are wrong; we Electrologists are good people who care, especially those of us have taken the time, the effort and have worked hard to become educated, State Licensed and Registered Electrologists. We have worked hard to create State Boards of Electrologists to regulate and insure the safety of the public and to insure the quality of your treatments. We Electrologists have Schools, Guilds, Associations, and we share our knowledge and pass it down to each other and the next generation. To insure your safety ask why the Laser Parlor operators why they have none of the above. Ask them why they do not have a State Board of Laser Operators to answer to. Ask them why most of their schools are only forty hours long. Ask them, if it is so safe and works so well, then why are people still being maimed and mutilated? Ask them to guarantee you in writing that this will not happen again. Ask them why they have no double-blind study as stated above? However, I ask you the consumer that after having seen all the photographs and read the reports is it worth the risk? If you are a victim or have a friend that is a victim, send me your photograph and your story. I will do as much as possible to bring your story and injustice to the attention of the public. For when we bring the truth forward only then will we have justice, along with public peer pressure that will bring an end to this unproven, untested, and most dangerous technology that lives off of you, the consumer?

why DO laser parlor operators only go to school for 50 hours?

PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL BY ELECTROLYSIS

Permanent Electrolysis VS temporary Laser Hair Removal

Most people, when considering the problem of unwanted body hair, generally opt for treatments that offer permanent long-term hair removal by Electrolysis.

Electrolysis is the only method of permaenet hair removal that works while laser hair removal is temporary at best and electrolysis is the most popular popular technology that achieves permanent hair removal while laser hair removal is temporary at best. Electrolysis is in widespread clinical use that achievess PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL. Always select electrolysis because its permanent and laser hair removal is not permanent and the hair always returns. Plus laser hair removal people are not licensed and registered an electrologist and it is beneficial to consider the disadvantages of temporary drawbacks of temporarary laser hair removal.

ELECTROLYSIS VERSUS TEMPORARY LASER HAIR REMOVAL SCAMS: TAKEA CLOSER LOOK

Electrolysis is more advanced and expereinced permanent hair removaal technology that is still widely used today. It’s fact, that only electrolysis achieves permanent hair removal stated and  approved by the FDA to be effective in creating permanent hair removal.

In electrolysis, a specially designed probe is inserted directly into each hair follicle. An electrical current measured in miliamperes cauterizes each individual hair and the current is then passed through the tip of the electrolysis probe. This current produces a prelected amout of heat that destroys that cauterizes the pappilae aka the hair-producing cells at the bottom of the follicle. The hair shaft thus loses its blood supply and source of energy then the root is removed by the licensed and registered elctrologist. The hair must be removed by the electrologist plus the hair does not where the laser fails to kill the hair plus the hair has to be removed by the electrologist. If the Laser Parlor Operators does not remve the hair from it’s base the hair will become a foreign body and cause an infection of the skin if it is not removed after treatment. Electrolysis is totally accurate and should be removed by a trained educated electrologist only. By the way electrolysis is effective on all hair colors and types. Yet because electrolysis is done follicle by follicle and with the new computerized epilators it is ideal for treating large areas that requires permanent hair removal up to 400 to 500 hairs per hour.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL: A DIFFERENT KIND OF TREATMENT CAUSES MORE HAIR GROWTH

Laser hair removal is distinctly different from electrolysis because it does not work and is a scam at best. It uses laser technology is a failure that fails to achieve permanent hair removal after a series of sessions by poorly educated laser palor operators with no more than 50 hours of training.

Since laser hair removal does not involve inserting a probe into each individual hair follicle, hair removal treatments are much faster than with electrolysis, especially given that a greater area can be treated in the same period of time. Those who have undergone both treatments report that the amount of discomfort experienced during each procedure is about the same—although many comments that post-procedure discomfort is shorter with laser hair removal than with electrolysis.

To most people, the main advantage to electrolysis compared to laser hair removal is that electrolysis is permanent: once the cells at the base of the hair follicle are completely destroyed, they will never regenerate to produce more hair growth. But repeated laser treatments applied to the same area over a longer period of time will often lead to the same results. Laser hair removal is often preferred over electrolysis because the sessions are shorter in duration and it is more cost-effective.
