BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS® ARTICLE  HOW TO RATE YOUR ELECTROLOGIST©

Without one doubt the state Licensed & Registered is your best and only choice to achieve safe permanent hair removal The uneducated non-licensed electrologist cannot compare to the educated state licensed electrologist who spent years of education, study to make the effort to become a state licensed and registered electrologist.

Without one doubt desktop publishing, fake diplomas and rhyming certification titles such as certified professional electrologist are meant to confuse the consumer because it sounds professional. On the other hand these mass produced publications known az certified professional electrologist certificate title is a cruel hoax meant to confuse clients that they are professionals electrologist. In states with bare minimum requisite coursework with no practical training and examinations are a sham at best. No doubt about it certified professional electrologist, the certified clinical electrologist and the certified medical electrologist titles lack medical theoretical education and practical training. These Mass Desktop Diplomas are strictly for quacks and are obtained through a bogus semi-quasi professional organization that does not require the uneducated electrologist to be state licensed and registered to become a member. Their sole purpose is to as appear as a professional electrologist to fool the consumer to call them. It is amazing that these people with no education purchase a white lab jacket, white shoes and bogus certificates and they actually believe they are a certified professional electrologist. However a real electrologist will say, Massachusetts state licensed & Registered Electrologist and you can confirm that with my state board.

State is licensing and registration is absolutely the best. If your electrologist has met all the licensing criteria in your state or a state with no licensing, you can be assured that you’ll be treated with the utmost care and professionalism. Certification is like a cheap paint job on a Mercedes is obvious however the Mercedes is already gorgeous and why you want a cheap paint job to make it really stand out?

If you are an Arizona resident with an unwanted facial hair problem you are concerned about quality electrolysis for safe permanent hair removal. This article will help you learn how to rate an electrologist. However regarding the lack of a professional education with by an uneducated non-licensed electrologist leave allot to be desired. It is most important that all consumers learn how to evaluate an electrologist to understand the safety of electrolysis and the dangers of temporary laser hair removal practiced by non-licensed personnel. For the record all competent state licensed and registered electrologists possess a requisite basic fundamental education, which is the cornerstone foundation for her to provide you with a safe comfortable treatment to achieve your goal permanent hair removal. The Electrolysis-Electrology profession in Arizona has always been besieged by exaggerated claims of hair removal methods by uneducated non-licensed electrologists plus other assorted individuals posing and claiming to be self-taught do it yourself Electrologists. Nevertheless our non-licensed certified professional electrologists deceptively advertise amongst us. These unlicensed, poorly trained amateurs never attended a state board approved electrolysis school in any form or manner. On the other hand every consumer has the right to know their Electrologist’s credentials and professional abilities before the start of a treatment. Last but not least always ask them if they are professionally educated state licensed and a registered electrologist.

Boston Electrolysis® is strictly electrolysis and when you walk in my door you do not have to parade by curious chatty hairdressers, receptionist, manicurists, skin care personnel, laser operator’s, Botox injections, high pressured laser closers and make up sales girls. Boston Electrolysis® is a one on one specialized service for you so you can achieve your goal of permanent hair removal in privacy. Woman and Transwoman receive expert treatment do not have to explain themselves, feel uncomfortable, or psychologically challenged.

Below is the Boston Electrolysis Five Star Electrolysis-Electrology rating system, for which I have received negative comments, coupled with harassment and threats fake non-licensed amateurs claiming to be a Certified Professional Electrologist, Certified Clinical Electrologist, and Certified Medical Electrologist. One individual claims to be the only graduate of the Arizona School of Electrolysis and the Arizona School of Electrology which are fabricated schools that never existed. This properly licensed and registered electrologist is fed up with all the hoaxes perpetrated upon our profession by unqualified, uneducated, non-licensed electrologists. For the record I am the only licensed and registered electrologist in Arizona that provides every patient with a written guarantee of excellence.

Kimberly Williams, R.E., Dean Written Guarantee of Excellence

Arizona’s first and only electrologist who guarantees in writing that after one treatment, if you can locate a better electrologist, brings me the receipt and I will refund half your first treatment fee up to a half-four. In addition to that, even on difficult cases, I can work at one-third to one-fourth the time of the average electrologist – licensed or unlicensed. I also guarantee that you will have the most comfortable treatment with no scabbing, scarring or pitting as direct result of my treatments©.

How To Rate An Electrologist

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Five stars is always the best rating. It means that your Electrologist is educated, trained, tested and is a State Licensed and Registered Electrologist. Five Star Electrologists have attended and graduated from a state monitored and nationally approved and accredited electrolysis school. They have also taken a dual written and practical State Board of Electrologists examination and successfully passed them, and are currently a licensed and registered. Licensed and registered electrologists have a responsibility to obey the rules and regulations of their State Board of Electrologists..

Even though my practice is in Scottsdale, Arizona I run it as if it were in Massachusetts. That means my office, equipment and treatments are accountable to a State Board Inspector who could walk in at any time and inspect my office. This includes equipment, sterilization and all professional requirements. If you are unconvinced about your Electrologist’s credentials, ask for their pocket license and call their State Board to verify them if you are doubtful. This rating system also includes Electrologists who attended a school with a defined curriculum in which the students are trained by a licensed and Registered Electrologists with a minimum of five years experience using a late model computerized epilators.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Four Stars indicate that an Electrologist has completed a minimum of 450 hundred hours of coursework, in a state that requires a license and registration of electrologists for its residents. These out of state courses are designed for electrologists who live in a state, such as Arizona, which has no State Board that license and register electrologists. Any electrologist that has gone out of State and successfully passed a dual State Board electrolysis school examination is to be commended. They demonstrate how essential it is for an electrologist to be professionally trained in a state that requires a license and registration for their residents. Remember always authenticate the school that they claim to have graduated from with the State Board of Electrologists. If doubtful call the state board that approved the school that trained them. For confirmation of electrolysis education in Arizona, call the Arizona State Board of Post Secondary Education at 602-542-5769 and ask for Keith Blanchard, Deputy Director or email him Keith.Blanchard@azppse.state.az.us

⭐⭐⭐

Three Stars define an Electrologist who has attended a school where there is no state board and license and registration for electrologists. These Electrologists should have at have completed a minimum of 400 hundred hour course. One must be cautious if the electrologist’s instructors where not licensed and registered electrologists themselves, as this will directly affect the quality of their training, and therefore your treatments. Always beware of “Certified Instructors”. Electrolysis is a profession that cannot be passed down from one unlicensed electrologist to another without a serious loss of competence and safety.

Two stars are for non-licensed and non-registered electrologists who have taken a course of 120 hours or less. These electrologists purchase memberships and credentials to electrologists’ associations that do not require an electrologist to be licensed and registered in addition they use counterfeit bloated certificates, exaggerated titles and fancy schmancy ornate diplomas to appear professional. They often claim they are a certified electrologist. They put multiple initials after their names and list non-licensed organizations there members to look impressive, but you would be surprised that you could complete their 50 to 12O hour course they took in with ease. You would also be amazed that some organizations are too lax in checking credentials. However ask yourself would you go to physician who took such a course? These quick-buck diplomas are often called “Certified Professionally Trained Electrologist”, “Professionally Certified Instructed” and so on. Whenever you see “Certified” that means that 99.75% of them are non-licensed and non-registered. Beware of these electrologists because they have minimal rock bottom training and some have dubious ethics to say the least. Be aware that this is not a profession that can be mastered in 120 hours of training. One should doubt anyone who claims a standard of professional ability from these correspondence and certification courses. You should ask yourself how can one non-licensed electrologist confer a professional title on another one?

Tsk, tsk the one star electrologist limits their practice to states where there is no state board of electrologists, because they know they would be shut down by a state board for the simple reason that their credentials lack professional training and their ethics would not survive professional scrutiny. These so-called electrologists have no scruples or ethics, they adopt any title they see fit, their training is minimal with the average being 50 to 120 hours and very often they use faddish, unproven treatments. They use lasers, electric tweezers, microwave treatments, gels, ointments, Pico-flash and will tell you electrolysis is painful when it is not. After advertising themselves as electrologists they will switch you over to the dangerous ineffective laser, microwave, intense light treatments often without a physician present, as required by law. They lie to you while telling you the laser isn’t painful when the F.D.A. ruled that it’s illegal for them to advertise or claim permanent and painless hair removal. They also illegally advertise permanent hair removal by laser. The F.D.A. has ruled that only Electrologists may advertise “Permanent Hair Removal.” So if a so-called certified electrologist wants to give you laser treatments, ask them to put it in writing that it will be permanent and painless like they claim Laser Parlors also will ask you to pay up to $3000.00 in advance and they will finance and it will cost you a fortune in interest alone. Never pay in advance for Laser Treatments because if you can’t tolerate them you still have to pay for them.

For your safety always ask the Laser Parlor Operator for a written guarantee of permanent and painless hair removal before you part with your hard-earned money. It is very easy for them to switch you over to a laser treatment when you have unknowingly signed a consent form to have electrolysis treatments, unless you read the fine print carefully. When in Arizona beware of electrologists that claim to be certified professional electrologists, certified clinical electrologists, certified medical electrologists and the certified clinical and medical electrologists are store bought diplomas. If you have the slightest doubt or inkling they are not licensed call their state board of electrologists for verification. Make sure you call their State Board Of Electrologists, not the American Electrology Association who certified them. The only people that can license and register electrologist is a governmental State Board of Electrologists. If an electrologist claims to be a Certified Professional Electrologist they are not licensed and registered. There was an electrologist in Prescott, Arizona known as Betty Sullivan who claimed to be licensed but after an investigation they found out she was a licensed manicurist from Minnesota who does not have a state board of electrologists.

Hair Removal Facts & Warnings

THE FAKES AND HOW TO SPOT THEM AND AVOID THEM

THE CERTIFIED ELECTROLOGISTS AND THEIR DEFINITIONS.

It’s a known fact that certification titles do not mean a person is a state licensed and registered electrologist and good example is the Certified Professional Electrologist course. Always remember non-licensed electrologists try to appear and want you to think they are licensed and registered as an electrologist, example they use Jane Doe, C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist. Bonafide licensed and registered electrologists will always advertise, Kimberly Williams, R.E., Massachusetts Licensed & Registered electrologist.

For the record it is my professional opinion that the Certified Professional Electrologist that paltry certification course by itself does not prepare a layperson in any form or manner to be able to perform a safe competent electrolysis treatment. These questionable electrolysis certifications courses and diplomas appear, infer and bestow ornate diplomas and titles with credentials upon undeserving frauds who think that its alright to purchase an education and their credentials even the course they took was from 50 to 120 hours long. Additionally the certification tests are elementary grade school level hoaxes consisting of simple true and false and multiple-choice questions. In addition they do not require a high school diploma, background check nor do they require individuals to take an electrolysis “Practical Application” examination in any form or manner to prove they are competent. However in the end these desktop diploma mills turn out Certified Quacks that are an insult to honest licensed and registered electrologists that earned their credentials and successfully completed an accredited electrolysis school and passed their dual state board examinations.

Consumer beware I have compiled a list of titles that non-licensed electrologists frequently use. Other ways that non-licensed electrologists try to appear as licensed electrologists is to join multiple electrolysis associations, who do not require an electrologist to be educated, state licensed and registered as an electrologist for membership. I repeat these associations do not emphasize nor require state license and registration as an electrologist for membership nevertheless they wholeheartedly promote the proliferation of themselves as uneducated non-licensed Combination Electrologists Laser Parlor Operators.

THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION AND OTHER ELECTROLYSIS GROUPS DO NOT REQUIRE AN ELECTROLOGIST TO BE STATE LICENSED AND REGISTERED FOR MEMBERSHIP.

THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION: Is the ancestral home of the non-licensed C.P.E. AKA Certified Professional Electrologist course and approximately 90% or more of its members are not state licensed and registered electrologists.

The supposed owner of the school was Betty Sullivan an electrologist in Prescott, Arizona who claimed to be licensed in Minnesota. Nonetheless after an investigation they found out she was a licensed manicurist from Minnesota. Minnesota is another state that does not license and register electrologists in any form or manner.

However it is amusing that there is a one person who claims she graduated from the Arizona State School of Electrology and the Arizona State School of Electrolysis which are fictitious electrolysis and electrology schools that never existed in Arizona. For the record if you have been to an electrologist who claims to be a graduate of the Arizona State School of Electrology or The Arizona State School Of Electrolysis beware these schools never existed. BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS® PRIVATE PRACTICE©
my Boston Electrolysis ® Where Electrolysis Is Practiced As Scientific Art With a Medical Approach©

I’m Kimberly Williams R.E., Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist, 1979 and also a Utah Licensed and Registered Electrologist. Furthermore, I am the Dean of Boston School of Electrolysis™ the Internet’s best source of online educational electrolysis information and an educational resource center for electrologists and consumers. If not otherwise noted, I am the author of all on this website. Customarily the best electrolysis schools Deans have always provided and maintained a private practice for those seeking top-quality electrolysis treatments. Presently I maintain Boston Electrolysis ® Private Practice © as a full time practice and the Boston School Of Electrolysis website as a public enlightening resource of educational information for the consumer and electrologist. Before your treatment begins I do a complete in depth no fee history and evaluation using The Electrologists Diagnostic Case History Card ©, which was designed and written by myself. Furthermore, I perform all treatments with superlative American manufactured late-model State Of The Art R.A. Fischer CBX-Pro-Blend Series Four Computerized Epilators. In addition, I use predated Sterex sterilized disposable probes with triple sterilized instruments and gloves.

Don’t be misled when it comes to selecting your electrologist for safe permanent hair removal. Always be alert that an experienced knowledgeable, professionally educated, trained tested state licensed and registered electrologist is your best choice for safe permanent hair removal. In Arizona that’s easier said than done since most Arizonans are not aware that our state has not legislated an Arizona State Board Of Electrologists for testing and licensing requirements to practice electrolysis. Furthermore rampant desktop publishing of counterfeit electrolysis diplomas from fake electrolysis schools that never existed are everywhere. Without a verifiable education and practical training; non-licensed uneducated frauds are claiming or implying to be state licensed and registered electrologists. From my personal experience of having had a severe unwanted facial hair problem I know how painfully frustrating it is to lose valuable time and hard-earned resources. On the other hand what hurts the most are the educationally challenged non-licensed electrologists who lack the integrity to inform the client the truth about their educational status and limited abilities. Licensed electrologists are aware it’s ethically and morally wrong for amateur non-licensed electrologists to claim professional competency after completing a derisory 120-hour Certified Professional Electrologist course with no “Practical Testing” as the total of their electrolysis education. The non-licensed electrologists intentions could be admirable but do you believe it’s possible for an uneducated non-licensed electrologist to perform a competent professional grade electrolysis treatment with 120 hours of training?

Furthermore, requirements to become a Certified Professional Electrologist do not necessitate a high school diploma or a communicable disease health check-up. The non-licensed electrologists do not undergo a background check in any form or manner and the Certified Professional Electrologist examination is a cruel hoax at best, and an insult to consumers because there was no requisite practical examination to measure their actual skill level. This and other dubious certification courses costs a trifling $225.00 and anyone can become a Certified Professional Electrologist qualified by the American Electrology Association’s International Board of Electrologists Certification.

Presently I am one of the few licensed and registered electrologists in Arizona that specializes in the treatment of unwanted facial hair problems from minor to severe using the best American manufactured State Of The Art Computerized Epilators. In addition, if your unwanted hair problem is caused by genetic or an endocrine disorder such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Boston Electrolysis ® Private Practice © is your best choice for safe permanent hair removal. This is all possible because I have worked very hard to set up the Metro Phoenix areas first and only Polycystic Ovarian Clinic for unwanted hair problems. This means your electrolysis treatments could be coordinated with physician Barbara Lipschitz, M.D., Internal Medicine Specialist of the Central Phoenix Medical Clinic or your own physician. This is possible because endocrine disorders that cause a patient’s hormonal imbalances which in turn cause unwanted hair problems can now be diagnosed, corrected, improved and maintained by medications, treatments, and procedures. I succeed because I have worked hard to become educated and have dedicated my life to the advancement of my chosen profession as a licensed and registered electrologist with 33 years of experience. If you have an unwanted facial hair problem from minor to severe, I am the electrologist you can count on for safe permanent hair removal and for that reason that I take pride in my professional experience, abilities and expertise plus, I provide a written guarantee of excellence because, “I Practice Electrolysis as a Scientific Art With A Medical Approach©”.

From 1983 to 1987 I was sought as a Guest Lecturer at Harvard Medical School and was awarded a letters of commendation and appreciation for a major new teaching venture at Harvard Medical School. At Harvard Medical School my lectures encompassed Endocrinology, Poly-Cystic-Ovarian-Syndrome, Histology, and Psychology, Pharmacology and Socio-Economic life experiences and challenges that Transgendered women endure and overcome. The theme of my lectures at Harvard Medical School where about psychological strength and endurance while being able to overcome the shortcomings of an indifferent complicated society where being different is often held against you. Most people are unaware that Transgendered Women are the world’s smallest least understood minority who survive in a diverse indifferent complicated society where it is ongoing struggle to maintain your dignity let alone identity. I still maintain contact with friends from Boston and Harvard Medical School and I had the opportunity to meet Christine Jorgenson and provide her my professional services when she toured New England and Massachusetts as a nightclub entertainer in the 1980’s. Unethical business tactics are used by the non-licensed electrologists who have circumvented traditional American values of fair play and honesty when it comes to “Permanent Hair Removal.” Honest state licensed and registered electrologists across America are professionals that have honored our work and chosen profession with a code of integrity with laws, rules and regulations that we live and abide by. Licensed and registered electrologists are at the crossroads where direct action must be taken that non-licensed electrologists shall be held accountable for mischievous unprofessional illegal unethical conduct and behavior. Licensed and registered electrologists are obligated to inform and educate the public that we are the only bonafide professional practitioners of electrolysis to practice. Beware of Fake Electrolysis and Electrology Diplomas in Arizona

HOW TO RATE YOUR ELECTROLOGIST©

If you are an Arizona resident with an unwanted facial hair problem you are concerned about quality electrolysis for safe permanent hair removal. This article will help you learn how to rate an electrologist. However regarding the lack of a professional education by an uneducated non-licensed electrologist leaves allot to be desired. It is most important that all consumers learn how to evaluate an electrologist to understand the safety of electrolysis practiced by a Massachusetts Licensed & Registered Electrologists and the dangers of temporary laser hair removal practiced by non-licensed personnel. For the record all competent state licensed and registered electrologist who possess a requisite basic fundamental professional education, which is the cornerstone foundation to provide you with a safe comfortable treatment to achieve your goal of safe permanent hair removal.

Boston Electrolysis® is a one on one specialized service so you can achieve your goal of permanent hair removal in privacy and comfort. Woman and Transwoman receive expert treatment and do not have to explain themselves, feel uncomfortable, or psychologically challenged.

Below is the Boston Electrolysis Five Star Electrolysis-Electrology rating system, for which I have received positive comments, coupled with some harassment and from fake non-licensed amateurs claiming to be a Certified Professional Electrologist, Certified Clinical Electrologist, and Certified Medical Electrologist. One individual claims to be the only graduate of the Arizona School of Electrolysis and the Arizona School of Electrology which are fabricated schools that never existed. This properly licensed and registered electrologist is fed up with all the hoaxes perpetrated upon our electrolysis profession by unqualified, uneducated, non-licensed electrologists.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Five stars is always the best rating. It means that your Electrologist is educated, trained, tested and is a State Licensed and Registered Electrologist. Five Star Electrologists have attended and graduated from a state monitored and nationally approved and accredited electrolysis school. They have also taken a dual written and practical State Board of Electrologists examination and successfully passed them, and are currently a licensed and registered. Licensed and registered have a responsibility to obey the rules and regulations of their State Board of Electrologists..

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Three Stars define an Electrologist who has attended a school where there is no state board and license and registration for electrologists. These Electrologists should have at have completed a minimum of 400 hundred hour course. One must be cautious if the electrologist’s instructors where not licensed and registered electrologists themselves, as this will directly affect the quality of their training, and therefore your treatments. Always beware of “Certified Instructors”. Electrolysis is a profession that cannot be passed down from one unlicensed electrologist to another without a serious loss of competence and safety.

Two stars are for non-licensed and non-registered electrologists who have taken a paltry course of 120 hours or less. These electrologists purchase memberships and credentials to electrologists’ associations that do not require an electrologist to be licensed and registered in addition they use counterfeit bloated certificates, exaggerated titles and fancy schmancy ornate diplomas to appear professional. They often claim they are a certified professional electrologist. They put multiple initials after their names and list non-licensed organizations to look impressive, but you would be surprised that you could complete their 50 to 12O hour 1st grade course they took with ease. One should doubt anyone who claims a standard of professional ability from these kindergarten-correspondence and certification courses.

Beware of Fake Arizona Electrolysis & Electrology Schools

When in Arizona beware of electrologists that claim to be certified professional electrologists, certified clinical electrologists, certified medical electrologists and the certified clinical and medical electrologists are store bought diplomas. If you have the slightest doubt or inkling they are not licensed call their state board of electrologists for verification. Make sure you call their State Board Of Electrologists, not the American Electrology Association who certified them. The only people that can license and register electrologist is ITS governmental State Board of Electrologists.

THE FAKE ELECTROLOGISTS AND HOW TO SPOT THEM

It’s a known fact that quick buck certification titles do not mean a person is a state licensed and registered electrologist and good example is the Certified Professional Electrologist course. Always remember non-licensed electrologists in states like Arizona try to appear and want you to believe they are licensed and registered as an electrologist, example they use Jane Doe, C.P.E. Certified Professional Electrologist. Bonafide licensed and registered electrologists will always advertise, Kimberly Williams, R.E., Massachusetts Licensed & Registered electrologist.

For the record it is my professional opinion that the Certified Professional Electrologist is a paustic certification course and by itself does not prepare a layperson in any form or manner to be able to perform a safe competent electrolysis treatment. These questionable quick buck electrolysis certifications courses and diplomas appear, infer and bestow ornate diplomas and titles with credentials upon undeserving frauds who think that its alright to purchase an education and their credentials even the course they took was from 50 to 120 hours long.

I repeat these associations do not emphasize nor require state license and registration as an electrologist for membership nevertheless they wholeheartedly promote the proliferation of themselves as poorly uneducated non-licensed electrologists.

THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION AND OTHER ELECTROLYSIS GROUPS DO NOT REQUIRE AN ELECTROLOGIST TO BE STATE LICENSED AND REGISTERED FOR MEMBERSHIP.

Massachusetts Licensed & Registered Electrologist,

August 4th. 2023,

Introduction: My Electrolysis Curriculm

The permant hair removal of unwanted hair is a challenge for all transgender Transwomen and  transmen, for observable reasons. Unwanted hair hair problems presents a roadblock for the transgendered folks. This bars access to  quality experienced, licensed and registered electrologists due to confusion and misinformation in regards to cost and more importantly the benefits of a Masssachusetts licensed and registered electrologist. While insurance coverage for hair removal in transgendered women and Transmen is increasing, it still remains inconsistent and is a constant source of anxiety, driven by aggravation and despair for the patient and provider. All transmen and transwomen should seek an experienced state licensed and registered electrologist with a care plan tailored to their individual needs Fact I have been a Massachuetss Licensed and Registered Electrologist since 1979 and for the record and your information Massachusetts has the toughest standards and requirements of 1100 hours to become a Massachusetts licensed and registered electrologist. My curriculum consistered of an additional  500 hours of Scientific Theory with Endocrinology, Histology, Biology, Micro-Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Electricity and Dermatology plus I had to take a two-hour written examination combined combined with a one hour Practical Examination. After successfully passing both examinations I received my license and registration to practice electrolysis in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts! In addition Boston Electrolysis provides ELECTROLYSIS DOUBLES INTENSIVES using Doubles aka Two lectrologists for legs, back and chest using Computerized Epilators For Short-Wave, Galvanic and Blend Treatments.

Specifically, transwomen must seek permanent hair removal on the face, neck, as well as other areas such as chest, back, arms and hands Pre-transgender men, characteristically seeking hair reduction on forearms or thighs in preparation of future graft sites for phalloplasty. If you are seekin unwanted permanent hair removal please call me 4806078121 to set up a consultation and working appointment. We are now offering electrolysis intensives preformed by myself and my assistant in training with four years.. However if your a currently a Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist like myself your insurance companies demand will most likelys will approve your electrolysis treatments for payment because they want or demand a state licensed and registered electrologist so you can get the best treatment possible.

Standard Electrolysis, Thermolysis and Blend-Treatments by an educated, licensed and registered electrologists will always result in achieving permanent hair removal without damage to the skin.  As with any referral for care, it is ideal to establish relationships with an experienced, state licensed and registered electrologists with a positive reputation in the transgender community. It’s a known fact that plucking, waxing, tweezing, and depilatories offer temporary hair removal only and often damage the skin permanently.

Methods pros and cons of each hair growth cycle consists of three successive stages that include the Anagen (active growth) phase, the Catagen (Mid-Transitional-Stage), and the Telogen (Dormant Stage). Time in each phase can vary by location, from an Anagen Stage of one to two months on the body and up to two to six years on the scalp. Patterns of hair growth may also vary based on gender and ethnicity. The effectiveness of both methods relies on the time of each hair growth phase with the ideal response being when hairs are in the active Anagen growth phase. They always require multiple sessions, and since effectiveness is approximately 85-95%. An experienced and currently licensed and registered electrologist always achieves the best results known as complete hair removal. Lastly, lifelong treatment is not required to achieve the sustained to induce and effect permanent hair removal.

Why Laser Hair Removal is a scam? The use of lasers is not considered a medical procedure because the course required for certification is only 50 hours long and at best, can only claim permanent hair reduction. Laser Hair Removal emits cancer causing ultra-violet radiation.  Unfortunately, the lasers cannot treat blonde, white, gray, red, or mix colored hairs. In addition, temporary laser hair removal offers the use of light to supposedly target dark, coarse hairs. In many cases the laser treated hairs lighten after treatments to become white or grey which they know cannot permanently kill the hair. Laser hair removal techs also know that the pigment in dark hairs cannot absorb the light to create heat that is transmitted down the base of hair shaft to destroy the root of the follicle without causing severe third degree burns of the skin.

Electrolysis Treatments are typically once or twice a week depending on the treatment location as the hair growth stages vary by area. Safety and effectiveness may vary depending on the platform used patient skin type and hair characteristics. Laser hair removal is generally ineffective on thin, light, red, blonde or gray hairs. The FDA has approved electrolysis for permanent hair removal which has not been proven. Patients are required to be evaluated by a state licensed and registered electrologist prior to being treated for SRS aka sexual reassigment ssurgery. Regulations on the qualifications and licensure of the electrologist vary by US state, with some states requiring a state licensed and registered electrologist. In the end most laser parlor operators do not have a physician on staff to approve the treatment.

As with any light-based treatment that uses selective photo thermolysis, overheating does result in third degree burns, redness, blisters, burns, and hyper or hypo-pigmentation. It is suggested that patients with a history of herpes simplex outbreaks should be aware of the potential for a light-stimulated outbreak (in treatment area. Treatments should be avoided when photosensitizing medications are being used. Do not treat areas of active infection. Flashing lights have been known to induce seizures in susceptible patients, so patients should be screened for this risk. Treatments on the face require occlusion of both eyes to protect from retinal exposure and damage Protective, wavelength specific, eye-ware is used during non-facial body treatments.

Electrolysis involves use of an electric current using a very fine needle-shaped probe to destroy the root of individual hair follicles. There are threetypes of electrolysis, galvanic (direct electrical current produces sodium hydroxide which is a chemical reaction), Thermolysis also known as short-wave produces heat and Blend (combination of Galvanic and Thermolysis). Since electrolysis involves direct mechanical and the internal destruction ofthe root, it can be used on all hair colors and skin types. Electrolysistreatments are typically once or twice weekly and lasting up to 1 to 2 hours, based on the skill level on the electrologist. You pay for what you get and an experienced skilled licensed and registered electrologist can treat up to 500 hairs per-hour without sacrificing accuracy treating each individual hair.

Some may think it may be time consuming and costly, however it is very effective and superior when used to treating hairs that have not or will not respond to temporary laser hair removal. Newer technologies with computerized state of the art R.A. Fischer Computerized Epilators with a skilled electrologist offer a more comfortable treatment and may be safer than older model machines. As the current is increased, so is the heat produced, resulting in improved effectiveness. Electrolysis is FDA-approved for permanent hair removal. In the US, electrologists are licensed in their state of practice and practice independently. However, one must be aware that 18 states do not license or legislate electrolysis in any form ormanner, including.

 Alabama
 Alaska
 Arizona
 Colorado
 Georgia
 Kentucky
 Minnesota
 Missouri
 New York
 Pennsylvania
 South Carolina
 South Dakota

LIDOCAINE AND ANESTETHIC INJECTIONS

Without a doubt it is my professional opinion that excessive pain from electrolysis is caused by poorly uneducated non-licensed electrologists. When a patient is gun shy from a previous non-licensed electrologis it will take longer to win over their confidence. However, the response to each treatment should be based on accurate insertions are based on location and comfort of  your treatment.  Regarding insurance for electrolysis you must make sure your that your electrlogist is currently licensed and registered  as an electrologist. In addition certain requirments by the Massachusetts Massachusetts State Board of Electrologists may apply.

How TO RATE YOUR ELECTROLOGIST
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Five stars is always the best rating. It means that your Electrologist is educated, trained, tested and is a State Licensed and Registered Electrologist. Five Star Electrologists have attended and graduated from a state monitored and nationally approved and accredited electrolysis school. They have also taken a dual written and practical State Board of Electrologists examination and successfully passed them, and are currently a licensed and registered electrologist.
This rating system also includes Electrologists who attended a school with a professionaly defined curriculum in which the students are trained by a licensed and Registered Electrologist Instructors with a minimum of five years experience using a late model computerized epilators.

These electrologists purchase memberships and credentials to electrologists’ associations that do not require an electrologist to be licensed and registered in addition they use counterfeit bloated certificates, exaggerated titles and fancy schmancy ornate diplomas to appear professional.
However regarding the lack of a professional education by an uneducated non-licensed electrologist leave allot to be desired. It is most important that all consumers learn how to evaluate an electrologist to understand the safety of electrolysis and the dangers of hair removal practiced by non-licensed personnel. For the record all competent state licensed and registered electrologists possess a requisite basic fundamental education, which is the cornerstone foundation to provide you with a safe comfortable treatment to achieve your goal permanent hair removal.
Boston Electrolysis® is a one on one specialized service so you can achieve your goal of permanent hair removal in privacy. Woman and Transwoman receive expert treatment and do not have to explain themselves, feel uncomfortable, or psychologically challenged.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Three Stars define an Electrologist who has attended a school where there is no state board and license and registration for electrologists. These Electrologists should have at have completed a minimum of 400 hundred hour course. One must be cautious if the electrologist’s instructors where not licensed and registered electrologists themselves, as this will directly affect the quality of their training, and therefore your treatments. Always beware of “Certified Instructors”. Electrolysis is a profession that cannot be passed down from one unlicensed electrologist to another without a serious loss of competence and safety.

⭐ ⭐
Boston Electrolysis®
The Five Star Electrolysis-Electrology-Blend Rating System
USING COMPUTERIZED EPILATORS FOR SHORT-WAVE-GALVANIC-BLEND
⭐Tsk, tsk the one star electrologist limits their practice to states where there is no state board of electrologists, because they know they would be shut down by a state board for the simple reason that their credentials lack professional training and their ethics would not survive professional scrutiny.
THE FAKES AND HOW TO SPOT THEM
It’s a known fact that certification titles do not mean a person is a state licensed and registered electrologist and good example is the Certified Professional Electrologist course.
For the record it is my professional opinion that the Certified Professional Electrologist is a paltry certification course by itself does not prepare a layperson in any form or manner to be able to perform a safe competent electrolysis treatment.
THE AMERICAN ELECTROLOGY ASSOCIATION: Is the ancestral home of the C.P.E. AKA Certified Professional Electrologist course and approximately 90% or more of its members are not state licensed and registered electrologists.

Laser Hair Removal Causes Paradoxical Hypertrichosis AKA Uncontrollable Facial Hair Growth on Woman!!!
Why Electrolysis is Approved by the FDA

Yes, electrolysis has proven itself safe and permanently removes hair from all skin types. It is the only FDA-approved form of permanent hair removal treatment. Since, 1876 electrolysis has permanently destroys the growth cells in the hair follicles, the hair will not grow back.…

LASER HAIR REMOVAL:

AMERICA’S MOST DANGEROUS UNPROVEN TECHNOLOGY®

The hidden truth is that laser parlors who claim permanent hair- reduction are lying to you. However Laser Parlors who advertise as Permanent Hair Removal are violating FDA laws and statutes that forbid Laser Parlors from claiming permanent hair removal period. Those that claim permanent hair removal are liars. They know that your hair is still going to eventually grow back. It’s a fact many laser parlors lies in their advertising. To counteract these lies I have pre-printed forms and envelopes addressed to the FDA making it possible to have same day complaints to the FDA and state authorities’ for false advertising.

Laser Parlors should be required to inform their clients they will need touch-ups for the rest of their lives. Laser operators lie like felons and advertise they do electrolysis when they do not and the public should report them for false advertising. Most people are not informed they will need touch-ups are typically needed at least up to eight times a year for the rest of your life’s..

Boston Electrolysis® & Boston School of Electrolysis Scientific Thesis on temporary laser hair removal, as compared to Electrolysis, Thermolysis and Blend which are the only proven medical technology that can legally claim Permanent Hair Removal and which is approved by the FDA.

Boston Electrolysis® CEO Kimberly Williams, R.E., Dean, to Consumers at large,

Kimberly Williams, R.E, Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist wants you know its 2021 and after twenty-four -years since 1997 temporary laser hair removal is “America’s Most Dangerous Unproven Technology”. The so called Laser Parlor Industry has failed to prove that laser hair removal works and it is not safe. I’m Kimberly Williams, R.E. and I have been a Massachusetts licensed and registered electrologist since 1979. With 42 years of professional experience I have dedicated my life to my chosen profession. It’ my professional opinion to make you aware of the existing problems of dangerous temporary laser hair removal a business experiencing on ongoing deteriorating growth largely through a complete lack of regulation, oversight and ethics due to greed. It is also important, however, to provide full information regarding the Electrolysis profession – the safe alternative and the only known method that achieves permanent hair removal. This educational report is quite extensive but I believe the public should be well informed; every consumer or patient has the right to complete information, especially regarding procedures that have a lasting effect on their personal appearance and consequently, their self esteem. Everybody wants a healthy complexion, but there are many discrepancies in the quality of the treatments available from non-licensed poorly educated Laser Hair Removal Parlors in the USA. The state where I was educated and began my practice, Massachusetts, has the most stringent requirements in the United States for licensing of Electrologists, so I have a unique perspective on this situation.

This report is based on the truth and the fact that there is no hard scientific evidence to prove that temporary laser hair removal is safe. Much of the information is, to my knowledge, being published by the layman for the first time… Desperate Laser Parlor Operators routinely advertise under electrolysis key words such as permanent hair removal and is written in a deceptive manner that any intelligent person is aware that Lasers Parlors very rarely tell the truth using fake before and after pictures and false advertising under electrolysis. In this article each scientific term is cross-referenced and defined exhibits and proves that laser hair removal is built upon a mountain of lies… I am providing this report to not only to consumers but to every post in the Food and Drug Administration AKA the FDA.

Boston Electrolysis® Report and Continuing Thesis Why the

Laser Hair Removal does not work on Grey Hairs, White Hairs, Blonde hairs.

Why temporary laser hair removal treatment depends largely on a patient’s skin and hair color. In my professional opinion the supposed Laser Hair Reduction process laser parlor operators lie like rugs. Laser Parlors Operators claim the best results are seen with dark hairs and light skin. However white, grey and blonde hairs are immune to the laser and red hairs are resistant to temporary laser hair removal with poor results and tragically burned skin. It’s a proven light black hair’s become bigger and tougher because laser emits excessive heat that increases the blood supply to the hairs germinative papillae making hairs growing bigger and stronger because the excessive the laser the dilates blood-vessels which increase nutrients the nourish the hair.. They say Laser Parlor operators go Ga Ga when a client that is light-skinned black dark-haired people because the light from these lasers is absorbed by the dark pigment in the hair, also known as melanin. However they never ever mention that smallest laser beam is the size of dime up to a quarter… The poorly educated laser parlor operators use magical babble Buck Rogers lingo to explain that the cancer causing Ultraviolet radiation fails to accurately target the papillae which is at least a quarter inch deep invisible to the laser and to the laser parlor operator..

The say laser parlor operators target the dark pigment in the shaft to the very base of the hair follicle which is the germinative papillae. The hair absorbs the laser energy causes the hair to heat up and hold the heat. They claim heat damages the hair root stunting future hair growth by targeting the germinative papillae.

Why is grey-haired is not generally suitable for laser hair removal?

Grey and white hair as well as blonde and light red hairs lack pigment therefore it is difficult for lasers parlor operators to detect and treat if not impossible. When a hair has no pigment to target it fails to permanently remove the hair. Trying zap away the hair, thus making laser hair removal an ineffective treatment for grey-hairs, white hairs, red hairs and blond hairs. What a waste of time because poorly educated Laser Parlor Operators cannot comprehend the laser hair removal is scam that does not work and in prime condition of black hairs on white skin it makes the hairs grow bigger

LASER STIMULATION HAIR GROWTH AS SEEN ON TELEVISION & YOUTUBE

If you watch TV we have all seen the Laser Baseball Cap the increases blood supply and hair growth by increase of blood to the papillae at the base of the follicle. I saw young girls with light black hairs increase in size that was stimulated by their laser hair removal treatments. Seeing is believing and there is no doubt that the supposed laser hair removal treatments stimulate hair growth. She was surprised the electrolysis permanently removed her hair while the laser has always been a failure for the last 24 years since its inception…

The Ultimate Hair Growth Cap – HairMax 272 PowerFlex For Maximum Results As a Massachusetts Licensed & Registered Electrologist since 1979 I have seen many case were women with light skin and dark hairs underwent laser hair removal treatments that made their unwanted facial hair problems ten time as bad. This is one of the reasons why the Laser Hair Removal industry is in financial trouble and offers 70 and 90% Discounts.

It’s a fact temporary laser removal is a total abject failure and don’t forget laser hair has burned and permanently disfigure many women with first, second and third degree burns from the cancer causing Ultra-Violet Radiation that lasers hair removal emits. On the other hand the Laser Parlor Industry target one youth after another generation however in my professional opinion it is not worth the risk of making your unwanted hair problem from becoming worse in addition to possibly suffering third degree burns that cannot be surgically repaired.

LASER PARLOR OPERATORS BECOME LOAN SHARKS

Many Laser Parlors have become loan sharks making easy to go in debt. However are never painful but after signed and legally trapped they the heat. you watch TV we have all seen the Laser Baseball Cap the increases blood supply to the hair by causing the increase of heat which increases blood to the papillae. I saw young girl with light black hairs increase in size that was stimulated by laser hair removal treatment. Seeing is believing and there is no doubt that the supposed laser hair removal treatments stimulate hair growth. She was frustrated the laser hair removal failed to remove her hair and caused more hair growth on her face/.

The History of the Electrolysis Industry

The history of Electrolysis and Electrology would surprise most people. My profession was founded in 1876 for the purpose of relieving “Trichiasis” (inflamed infected ingrown hairs of the eyelid). This condition left untreated can result in blindness. In 1952 the profession was among the first to use sophisticated solid-state equipment. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts formed a state board and began requiring licensing and registration for Electrologists in 1959, and in time there were similar state boards in 32 states (although Arizona still lacks one). In 1985 Computerized Programmable Epilators became available, and in 1996 the FDA upgraded electrolysis equipment to the status of a class one medical device. Electrologists alone have been granted the right by the FDA to legally claim, “Permanent Hair Removal” while the paltry laser hair removal fails in all categories and the FDA has barred laser parlor operators from claiming and advertising Permanent Hair Removal. However some Laser Parlor Operators can claim permanent hair reduction while Licensed and Registered Electrologists are FDA approved to claim and advertise Permanent Hair Removal. Our field is fully professional with a medical discipline in fact, and the reason for the virulent opposition to a state board here is the fact that many in the business would be out of work after failing the sort of examinations real Electrologists must pass to be licensed. These hold-outs prefer a 50-hour excuse for training course they can breeze through, usually in one week instead of years, ultimately at the expense of their patients. The Electrolysis-Electrology profession has, since its inception has undergone extremely close scrutiny by FDA, AMA, Underwriters Laboratories and every State Board of Electrologists. Our equipment is F.D.A. approved, tested by Underwriters Laboratories and U.P.E.M.A. (United Professional Epilators Manufacturers Association). That’s why Electrologists have the sole right to advertise “Permanent Hair Removal” because were educated, licensed, trained and has to maintain Certified Educational Upgrades.

I work closely with physicians regarding endocrinology, electrolysis, and micro eye-surgery for Trichiasis. I also work with epileptic patients who use medications such Dilantin, a drug which causes extreme hair problems in women and men. I try to see if it is possible to work with the Neurologist, possibly changing the medications to an alternate drug that does not create a hair problem, making the treatments shorter for the patient.

Boston Electrolysis®, Study Why Arizona needs a State Board of Electrologists?

I am not your typical Electrologist in Arizona, a state with no requirements to become one, no professional training, license or registration requirements. Arizona is so lax you can take a weekend course and become a “Certified Electrologist”, “Certified Expert Electrologist”, “Certified Technical Electrologist”; you can make up or purchase any title you want. Arizona desperately needs a State Board to protect the consumer from charlatans, quacks and laser operators with dangerously insufficient training. Here are some reports that demonstrate why.

These practitioners advertise right along with the very few State Licensed and Registered Electrologists and mimic our advertising. The consumer has no way to know if they are qualified. These unlicensed operators have harassed and bad mouthed the few Registered Electrologists who have made the effort to become educated licensed and registered Electrologists. They make unqualified, unsubstantiated claims. Their equipment, much of the time, is not FDA approved or up to date; they think that the purchase of their first epilator is lifetime investment. Their use of bloated titles and manufactured credentials give the consumer a false sense of trust in them. (Without a state board of Electrologists to regulate certification and maintain standards, the word “certification” doesn’t mean much.) Many patients have already had tragic experiences with laser hair removal, for example. They’ve been badly scarred, and this is not the most severe injury caused by this temporary laser hair removal technique as practiced by our “Certified” Electrologists. Much worse are disfiguring burns. One has to wonder how many we won’t see – those having signed non-disclosure agreements as part of an insurance settlement. Many such claims have been paid; it happens quite often. The payments soothe the victim’s pain only to a certain point. Many will have their disfigurations for years, or even the rest of their lives. Is this worth it? This irrevocably harms the patient’s appearance, well being and self-esteem. This gives the few of us who are truly dedicated and competent State Licensed and Registered Electrologists a bad image that is difficult at times to overcome.

A State Board of Electrologists, with licensing and registration, is needed to assure professional standards and safety. I’ve always felt that Arizona is a progressive state, but not in this. We have absolutely no Legislation or standards enforcement of the Electrolysis-Electrology profession, or the as yet unproven Temporary Laser Hair Removal Industry. There are licensing and registration requirements for every other profession in Arizona, so I must ask: Who Forgot the Electrologists? Electrolysis is a professional medical occupation in which no mistakes can be made without leaving a scar or pit or physical deformity. Most of the “Certified” Electrologists are using the Laser supposedly under the guidance of physicians, but by law, the doctor does not have to be present, just “on call”. They advertise membership in Electrologists Associations that have no real requirements to join and who grant them their exaggerated titles and certifications, which look impressive in their frames, but are worth very little. Their training lasts a month or less. Certification courses for Electrolysis should be banned outright for the simple reason that they don’t teach the skill level necessary to become a competent Electrologist.

Laser treatments emit dangerous Ultraviolet Radiation which can be extremely painful and cause skin caser. However l they offer dangerous anesthetic injections for the pain not only because of the inherent nature of the process that can cause necrotic lesions because of the operator’s lack of training. Many of them are not trained at all. A State Licensed and Registered Electrologist, on the other hand, can provide a very comfortable treatment. There is nothing inherently painful in genuine electrology. Before looking for a qualified Electrologist, read my Five Star Rating System©, and ask yourself if you would go to a Physician who did not finish or even attend medical school, or pass the Medical State Boards.

Laser parlors should not be allowed to imply that they can remove hair permanently; the FDA has denied them permission to do so. They make unsubstantiated exotic claims of painless permanent hair reduction to the uninformed public. Professional schooling for Electrologists that result in licensing and registration is available on states near Arizona such as California, Utah, New Mexico and Oregon. Why does Arizona not have a State Board of Electrologists to protect its citizens? Because the uneducated non-licensed Electrologists in voted it down because did not understand the term that their licenses would be grandfathered in…

How it would work

Upon the formation of a state board, “grandfathering” in of certified or non- registered Electrologists would be most unwise, resulting in a confused mess of differing standards, and in no change to the lack of professional competency for the most part. Now, I am really going to be forward! I would like to offer my professional services to set up an Arizona State Board of Registration of Electrologists that would require supposedly certified individuals to take a “State Sponsored requisite course in Electrolysis”, to achieve basic professional standards, competency, and most important, ethics.

This could done without causing undue hardship to the lay electrologist who could attend a one-day a week seminar for three hundred hours of professional training. Most but not all non-licensed certified Electrologists ought to have the opportunity to be true professionals and become licensed and registered Electrologists. Newcomers would be required to attend a private professionally accredited school with more training. Without a doubt I could train all the lay Electrologists myself. Our profession in Arizona needs help and professional guidance.

At one the defunct the defunct Arizona Electrology Association had four non-licensed electrologist AKA members, to the best my knowledge, does not have a single licensed and registered member and has not sought State Licensing and Registration since its inception and it’s closing 1991. In fact, there was a referendum 1989 to have a State Board but the members though they would be required to attend an electrolysis school so they voted it down.

This is why the Electrolysis and Electrology professions and its practitioners should be licensed and registered as medical specialists; there is no room for error in our profession without serious consequences for the consumer. I rest my case on that issue.

BOSTON ELECTROLYSIS®

THE DANGERS OF LASER HAIR REMOVAL

I have a reputation for being blunt, so I will go straight to the point. From the perspective of 34 years of professional experience I can tell you that the lasers that are presently used, and touted as a superior technique, are a danger and menace to the public.

Let’s deal strictly with the facts: Most lasers on the market today are built inexpensively and sold at a high profit with no set amount of training or credentials required to operate them. Lasers are dangerous. You can purchase a laser pointer for under $40 with a warning on the label clearly stating not to point it in someone’s eye at the risk of causing blindness. The much more powerful Medical Lasers used for temporary hair removal are being used by people with minimal training! These “Certified Electrologists” tell you that Electrolysis is painful to convince you to submit to laser treatments, which they say are not. But when I do a consultation and case history on each new patient it seems that a majority have suffered some painful skin damage from laser treatments, from moderate to severe. They tell me they were intentionally deceived, told that it was painless and removed hair permanently, when the FDA has ruled that it is illegal to advertise the Laser as painless and permanent. Additionally, they advertise in the Yellow Pages under Electrolysis, yet they are not Electrologists. Electrolysis is a specific technique, which they do not in fact practice. Isn’t this deceptive advertising?

Laser hair removal is, unfortunately, common enough that if laser parlors advertised under that heading, their customers would find them. Instead, they plant their ads right next to those of real Electrologists. I doubt the State would remain uninvolved if acupuncturists or faith healers buried their ads among those of surgeons, or for that matter, pet sitters advertised under “day care centers”. This situation is precisely the same. Many ads are sensationalistic, with perfect air-brushed models. I realize that sex sells. But I realize too that this has little connection with professionalism, skill and credentials.

The medical profession has been trying to make incursions into our field for years, with new, easier techniques, none of which has been successful. From the thirties to the fifties they used X-Rays for hair removal. It worked; radiation therapy makes your hair fall out, but the AMA banned it after the cancer rate jumped. There were pills with nasty side effects. Every ten to fifteen years the Electrolysis-Electrology profession is besieged by some new wonder treatment. Now we have the latest interloper in our profession, the Laser Parlor Operator aka LPO.>

The tide is turning, for thirty-four states now require Licensing and Registration to practice Electrolysis-Electrology. We have always accepted and welcomed those who are willing to make the grade and the effort to seek a professional education and proper State Licensing and Registration. Most “certified” laser practitioners would fail the requirements. If there was one single unbiased, independent, scientific double-blind study with corroborating data that laser did not harm the tissue, did not permanently discolor or prematurely age the skin in the treated area, and permanently removed hair, I would use it. I would have purchased the first Laser for hair removal based on proven scientific data without hesitation. There is none. So I will not sacrifice my ethics for quick money, beside someone has to ethics.

There are no secondary independent studies (such as Underwriters Laboratories) as to the true effectiveness of laser equipment that I am aware of. Here is how they work: They use a broad beam laser, where the smallest beam is the diameter of a dime. The orifice or entrance to the hair follicle, in contrast, is maybe two to five thousands of an inch in diameter. The depth of follicle is anywhere from 1/8 or 1/16 inch to an inch deep. An evaluation to see if the follicle is distorted or curved, ingrown, inflamed or infected is mandatory. I would like to know how this evaluation is done by laser techs. Without proper medical protocol the consumer/patient is being put at risk physically and emotionally. The patient could run the risk of severe infection and irreparable skin damage. These people are not informed that there are some ill-trained physicians who make wild, unsubstantiated claims about the laser, or about the FDA rules and regulations. Why are there no standardized requisites for the training of laser operators that result in a license and registration? I have personally searched the web and put inquiries out for independent agencies such as Underwriters Laboratories and others. To date I have not been able to find one independent double blind study!

One strict law of physics that laser operators have not so far disproved is that laser light travels in a straight line. How can laser operators make the claim that the laser beam travels down the curved follicle hair shafts? Would they please provide the proof that they can bend light?

Patients with white or blonde hair are told the laser is an ineffective treatment. Patients with dark complexions are told they could suffer a permanent loss of pigmentation. A broad beam laser is painful. The heat generated by the laser beam will have to travel 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch to destroy the root of the follicle. In order to reach the depths needed for true (as claimed) permanent hair removal, a laser would have to burn off the first two layers of skin: the (stratum-corneum) (granular layer) and the Malpighian layer which protect the body from infection. This is why laser operators be should be required to inform the patient that they could end up with permanent skin discoloration and scarring, especially people of darker skin. In the Corium layer of the skin we also have free nerve endings, pain receptors, touch receptors and sebaceous glands (hormonally controlled glands that keep the skin soft and supple with the excretion of sebaceous oil, without which our skin would be dry and flaky). The Sebaceous glands oil protects the skin from the elements such as sunlight and the cold. For the Laser to achieve total destruction of the root of the hair (the Papilla is the germinative part of the hair) it must sacrifice the microorganisms of the skin. This is disastrous to the functionality of your skin. It destroys the collagen fibers which control the elasticity of the skin, critical for skin tone, Mechanoreceptors (Pachianian Corpuscle) Pressure and Vibration Receptors. The Appocrine and Eccrine Sebaceous glands are destroyed. The Suderiferous Gland, otherwise known as the sweat gland, is lost in the area treated by the Laser. Sensory and Autonomic Nerve fibers along with veins and arteries which nourish the skin, let alone provide skin sensations such as being burned or frozen, are lost in the treated area. These skin functions are lost when they are burned. Look at skin that has been burned and you will see the proof.

The germinative papilla or root of the hair usually lies at the top of the subcutaneous tissue where the couplers (blood supply) that nourish each individual hair are located. Not all follicles produce hair and they are damaged or permanently destroyed too. The smallest laser beam used for hair removal is dime sized in diameter; most are the diameter of a quarter or nickel. What happens to the skin and all its microorganisms where there is no hair? It’s easy to see that to get a few hairs that are not concentrated; you must destroy a lot of surrounding tissue. This is a lack of medical common sense. Who established this unprofessional medical protocol?

I know that if properly informed, patients would be most unwilling to sacrifice their skin to rid themselves of their unwanted hair. In one square inch of skin there are four yards of nerve fibers, 1300 nerve cells, 100 sweat glands, three million cells and three yards of blood vessels. Yet there is not one nerve fiber inside the follicle. A professionally trained Electrologist can avoid nerve fibers.

Doctors are always telling patients, “Stay out of the sun because it damages the skin.” What could happen if the intense heat and ultraviolet radiation produced by a laser triggered a dormant basal or squamous or basal skin cancer cell? Have you ever thought of how hot a laser is? Of course everyone wants to have healthy beautiful skin but the safety of the laser is not proven. Should we play “Russian Roulette” with our health with a quick fix that has not proven to be permanent? Until the Laser can be proven safe and effective in a double blind study with honest test results, laser hair removal should be banned for the safety of the public. Only a physician should be allowed to use a laser for scientific research. Quite a few states have pending legislation, limiting laser use to physicians. I am in total agreement with that.

One must realize that all the body’s defensive micro-organs that protect us could be compromised or be lost permanently in areas burned by a laser. Infection is the biggest risk to a severe burn victim (See my Info-Laser- Links). Certain large areas such as legs could be rendered completely dysfunctional and be permanently scarred.

I have recently been the target of a particular laser company who used the foulest obscene language in a response to this report! Then he said, “I’m just trying to show you how to make more f—–g money”. All for the fact that I made an honest complaint about their illegal advertising and strong-arm business Tactics. These people make phony appointments and threatening phone calls to me. They’re real brave, aren’t they? This was a representative of Medical Doctor’s office. There is nothing wrong with free enterprise except when its laws are violated and its ethics, which I cherish, are flushed down the toilet. Certified Electrologists slander me for printing the truth. If they keep it up I will just work harder. I’ll publish their education and qualifications and compare them to mine, most notably the ones who took the correspondence courses in electrolysis that total no more than 100 hours.

A broad beamed, dime size diameter laser is missing its intended microscopic target, the papilla. The microscopic opening of the hair shaft and all its essential microorganisms are permanently damaged and lost. The only laser operators that do not damage your skin are the ones who turn the laser down so low that it only burns the hair off at the surface of the skin. Of course then the patient still has the hair problem; they now suffer from PLOM (permanent loss of money). That’s why patients who come to me who have had this form of laser treatment still have their hair problem. Gee, I wonder why? The ones who had the intense laser treatment have some hair-free treated areas where the skin has obviously been burned. We were taught in Electrolysis school that hair will not grown on scar tissue. These patients’ skin has been permanently discolored and burned and they still have most or all of their unwanted hair problems. From the base of the interior structure of the follicle known as the papillae to the orifice there are no nerve fibers inside it, so if you’re having treatment performed by an educated competent, licensed and registered electrologist who has the proper skill; you will find your treatments surprisingly comfortable.

The FDA states, “The Laser cannot be advertised as painless”. We know this is true because burning skin hurts. A professionally trained electrologist does not allow this damage to happen. Yet, when I read the Yellow Pages all I can see are claims that lasers are a painless, permanent, gentle treatment and superior over electrolysis and all other forms of hair removal. Look in any Yellow Pages telephone book under Electrolysis to see what I mean. These Certified “Wonder” Electrologists advertise reasonably priced laser treatments- on one Laser Web Site one advertises how excruciatingly painful electrolysis is and never mentions how painful the laser is. Of course some people are not aware of the FDA ruling that laser operators cannot advertise laser treatments as painless. Is the laser operator unaware? She also has an electrolysis web site, in which she proclaims how comfortable electrolysis treatments are. It sounds like someone is playing on both sides of the fence to get both hands into your pockets. Gee, I wonder where all those phony phone calls come from.

The electrolysis profession has always used all FDA approved equipment, and our profession is one hundred and seventeen years old. All our equipment is scrutinized and approved by the FDA. The AMA also approves electrolysis. Have they approved the laser? The FDA is besieged by unimaginable numbers of lobbyists and aggressive marketers, or should I say racketeers, trying to get approval for it. The electrolysis machine has been classified as a class one medical device that has stood the test of time, and now we have state of the art computerized equipment. The best Electrologists use computerized epilators that are up to date. The gray area in which laser operators advertise warrants a full-scale investigation. They have not proven the safety of their equipment, established professional guidelines, or real schools where the course results in a License and Registration. There is no uniformity of standards in their business. I think it is most unfair that they have gotten away with operating in such a manner for so long.

I’m from Massachusetts, though I like to use the expression “I’m from Missouri”. Let’s see them prove their claims with valid scientific data. All their equipment should be tested by honest and reliable independent organizations such as Underwriters Laboratories. After fourteen years to this day not one laser manufacturer has presented their laser hair removal equipment for a double blind study. I wonder why?

I truly believe that the laser should be banned and laser parlors should have their advertising for false claims and promises and it is proven (or made) safe and effective. Right now, physicians should be the only ones to use this equipment, which ought to be considered experimental at this stage. I wonder though, after this thesis is published, if they would have volunteers? And laser operators should advertise among themselves, in their own category, not under electrolysis. They should not be allowed to damage the reputation of an established profession by passing themselves off as fake members of it.

Laser Parlors routinely lie and Electrolysis Key Words like Short-Wave- Blend and Thermolysis Treatments. When their unsuspecting clients arrive they she had to go home or some other lie however they do have a laser tech available. If you want catch them in a lie tell them to guarantee you, Permanent Hair Removal. Laser Parlor Operators cringe when they hear three words.

The biggest Red Flag they have is they will offer to finance you treatments and do not sign on their dotted line because there are high interest loans that take advantage of you the consumer. It’s a known fact that most Laser Parlors have “professional closers” that use Senegali Hypnosis Tactics. In addition that collection agency thugs and other low life to ruin your life. Another red flag is when Laser Parlor operator tells you that temporary laser hair removal is painless! The FDA ruled that Laser Parlors cannot claim or advertise permanent hair removal or painless hair removal in any form or manner.

My Credentials

My professional schooling in electrolysis and electrology consisted of the following; 500 hours in Theoretical Sciences, Endocrinology, Histology, Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Hygiene, Sanitation and Sterilization, plus Electricity and Professional Ethics, while simultaneously taking 600 hours of practical application, for a total of 1100 hours of profession education. The Massachusetts State Board of Registration of Electrologists monitored my grades during my training. Upon completion of the requisites you are required to complete a patient thesis, Mid-term and final examinations plus a two-hour written State Board Examination and one hour practical examination. I successfully completed these examinations and was awarded a Massachusetts License and was designated a Registered Electrologist. I was awarded a diploma and issued a pocket license still current today. I graduated from Miss Kelly’s School of Electrology in 1979, one of the oldest and the best schools in the country for my chosen profession. Massachusetts began licensing and registering Electrologists in 1959, the first state in the nation to do so. Even though I live and work in Arizona I run my practice as if I were in Massachusetts and keep my license and registration current. In essence that means that a state board inspector could walk in any time with no warning, and inspect my office, equipment, hygiene and sanitation and sterilization equipment and cleanliness.

After completing the above mentioned, I authored, edited and published the Scientific Electrologist© editions 1, 2, 3 & 4, The Electrologist’s Diagnostic Case History© and booklet with instructions, The Electrologist’s Insertion Guide©, and the Electrologist Encyclopedia© and last but not least, this Scientific Thesis, LASER HAIR REMOVAL: AMERICA’S MOST DANGEROUS UNPROVEN TECHNOLOGY©

Also, I was a distributor and factory representative for a leading R.A. Fischer Company a manufacturer of medical grade Electronics Corporation, which allowed me unlimited access to the modern computerized epilators (electrolysis equipment). All my equipment that I use is FDA approved and has earned the approval seal of Underwriters Laboratories “Seal of Quality.” In addition I was the first Massachusetts Licensed and Registered Electrologist in the USA to use computerized epilators in 1985. The equipment I use has the highest U.P.E.M.A rating (United Professional Epilators Manufacturers Association).

Finally, I was sought out as a guest lecturer at Harvard Medical School from 1983-1987 on the subjects of Human Sexuality, Psychology, endocrinology and electrolysis. Since my basic education I have graduated from numerous schools to enhance my medical education. I am also qualified as professional witness for victims who have been permanently burned or disfigured.

To summarize: There are too many unanswered questions about America’s most dangerous unproven technology. The law requires that all equipment and personnel who use it are to report injuries and damage that has harmed a patient’s physical appearance and emotionally damaged that person. Eventually, when more attention is paid and testing becomes required, every malpractice report and incident should be mandated by the FDA to become public through the Federal Freedom of Information Act of 1974. Instead, most claims are paid by insurance companies who then pass off the increased cost to the consumer. Not only does the victim suffer, but the public does too, by increased health care costs. If I were contemplating have laser treatments I would make sure my insurance company offered palliative care, so check you’re insurance if you are going to take such a risk. When an individual whose only goal was to improve their appearance ends up permanently deformed with second and third degree burns that cannot be repaired by plastic surgery, ask you, what is their final outcome? Their final outcome is shame and devastating depression because of their ruined appearance for the rest of their lives. They are left with only one recourse and that is to file a lawsuit which takes years to come to a fair and just settlement. For that is the way the system operates, big insurance companies have big lawyers and their legal strategy is to prevent or prolong the victim’s compensation as long as possible.

If the laser had properly been tested by at least two bona fide independent testing agencies that had not one financial interest, in my professional opinion this untested dangerous laser technology would never have been allowed to be used. The Laser was never designed or intended in any manner to facilitate safe, permanent hair removal and it is illegal for the Laser Industry to advertise permanent hair removal in any form. If every case where a patient had been physically and emotionally mutilated was required by law to be reported, these tragedies would not continue. Instead the victims were paid off (out of court settlement). When you settle a malpractice claim out of court the injuring party requires that you sign a waiver never to divulge it publicly or privately. If every one of these inhuman atrocities was made public it would result in FDA investigation. In addition, they should be required by law to properly prove and test their product, their practitioners and last but not least, their non-existent ethics. The lobbyists and big money, big marketers who have rushed this dangerous, untested technology through our government should be investigated for that reason alone! With finical clout and lobbying the Laser Industry keeps on moving its special interests through our government and that undermines our civil rights and the safety checks and laws that were put in place to protect you the public from harm. That these individuals can do such physical and emotional harm to a fellow human being is morally wrong. These people have sold their souls for greed and avarice. How they are able to go home and sleep at night clearly demonstrates their total lack of humanity.

The Laser Industry has attacked the Electrolysis-Electrology profession since its conception in 1996. They have slandered us and accused the Electrolysis-Electrology profession of only being interested in maintaining the Status Quo. Well, they are wrong; we Electrologists are good people who care, especially those of us have taken the time, the effort and have worked hard to become educated, State Licensed and Registered Electrologists. We have worked hard to create State Boards of Electrologists to regulate and insure the safety of the public and to insure the quality of your treatments. We Electrologists have Schools, Guilds, Associations, and we share our knowledge and pass it down to each other and the next generation. To insure your safety ask why the Laser Parlor operators why they have none of the above. Ask them why they do not have a State Board of Laser Operators to answer to. Ask them why most of their schools are only forty hours long. Ask them, if it is so safe and works so well, then why are people still being maimed and mutilated? Ask them to guarantee you in writing that this will not happen again. Ask them why they have no double-blind study as stated above? However, I ask you the consumer that after having seen all the photographs and read the reports is it worth the risk? If you are a victim or have a friend that is a victim, send me your photograph and your story. I will do as much as possible to bring your story and injustice to the attention of the public. For when we bring the truth forward only then will we have justice, along with public peer pressure that will bring an end to this unproven, untested, and most dangerous technology that lives off of you, the consumer?

LASER PARLORS CAUSE CAUSE PARADOXICAL HYPERTRICHOSIS AKA UNWANTED HAIR GROWTH

Yes, Electrolysis Has Proven Itself To Be Safe and Achieves Permanent Removal From Hair From all Skin Types

Electrolysis is the only known FDA-approved form of permanent hair removal treatment that achieves permanent hair removal. Since, 1876 electrolysis has permanently destroys the growth cells in the hair follicles, the hair will not grow back. Search for: Why is Electrolysis the only FDA-approved method for safe permanent hair removal?  Several electrolysis manufacturers and thousands of state licensed and registered electrologists have received FDA permission to claim and advertise as, “Permanent Hair Removal,”” While Laser Parlor Operators are prohibited to claim “Permanent Hair Removal” for their “Lasers Epilators.” This means that although laser treatments with these devices will permanently reduce the total number of body hairs, they will not result in a permanent removal of all hair in any form or manner. Fact, Laser Parlor Operators lie like a cheap rugs and they flaunt the law and illegally advertise Laser as permanent hair removal. In addition Laser Parlors are the worst liars who advertise under electrolysis when they do not know anthing about Electrolysis in any form or manner period. However Laser Parlor Operators are frustrated and use the same ole “Bait & Switch Tactics”..like advertising under electrolysis when they are not.

Why do women have to endure so much suffering with unwanted facial hair problems caused by PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), Hyper-Trichiasis, and Hypo-Trichiasis cause by slow and fast Thyroid syndromes and now the latest cosmetic woe for women, Paradoxical Hypertrichosis directly caused Laser Hair Removal. In addition, unwanted hair problems caused by cortisone imbalances, genetics and birth control medications. Nonetheless, the latest Laser Parlor Malady is America’s latest Pandemic known as, “Laser Induced Paradoxical Hyptrichosis” which will give young girls and older women a man’s unwanted heavy beard in a short amount of time after having had laser parlor treatments. Furthermore, Laser Parlor Operators are lying and touting that their laser hair removal treatments will bring an end to your unwanted hair problems. This is not true and victims of the Laser Parlor Operators have a heavier hair problem after having had temporary laser treatments that in fact stimulate new hair growth.

The newest man-made plague known as Laser Induced Paradoxical Hypertrichosis can set in anywhere from three to five months post Laser Parlor Treatment. Unfortunately, this side effect is not as rare as you may think and the physicians are suspected of with-holding the truth. Rather, it is a nightmare causing women to grow heavy, coarse, masculine beards affecting anywhere from 15 to 30% of women who have undergone temporary laser hair removal treatments. The women that have had different high temperature laser treatments experimented on them can and do develop Paradoxical Induced Hypertrichosis of heavy hair growth.

Paradoxical Induced Hypertrichosis sets in after a treatment of so called laser epilation which does not even begin to be permanent from the get go. The supposed Laser Hair Removal research was never investigated and Laser Parlor Operators never focused on the causes of unwanted hair growth. For years they have blatantly ignored oblivious inflammatory markers and other key factors that were a direct cause of unwanted hair growth.

What is truly appalling to me as an electrologist is that so called non-licensed electrologists would stoop so low as to convince women that the laser hair removal treatments work. The lowest form of human life in my opinion is the Laser Parlor Operators that performs temporary laser hair removal. What my peers fail to mention is that Paradoxical Hypertrichosis is being caused by the laser hair removal treatments and then they turn around and treat again with the only permanent solution which is Electrolysis thus double dipping on you the patient; talk about a money grab… That’s you can trust an electrologist and laser parlor operators who will do anything for a buck.

Itss amazing how the FDA has failed to mention laser treatments after patients had suffered first, second and third degree burns from laser hair removal. Now they are doing it again with Paradoxical Induced Hypertrichosis. Laser Parlor companies are lying when they advertise Permanent Hair Removal. FDA Statutes forbid them to claim permanent hair removal. The only practitioners capable of achieving Permanent Hair Removal are professionally educated and trained, “State Licensed & Registered Electrologists.”

Many Laser Parlor Operators slowly became aware over time that laser hair removal therapy stimulates hair growth soon after the laser was introduced in 1998. However, Laser Parlors knowingly spin a web of deceit that Laser Hair Removal Treatments are safe, effective, and permanent when in fact they are actually stimulating heavy facial hair growth on all treated areas and most notably the face has heavy beard growth like a man caused by temporary laser induced hypertrichosis.

Multiple cases of unwanted Paradoxical Hypertrichosis arrived soon after laser epilation was released in 1998 without extensive testing. Many laser parlor operators did not want to believe their state of the art laser hair removal treatments made their facial hair problems ten times worse. Laser Parlor Operators are confused and say  heating those hairs up some more and end up burning patients faces with second and third degree burns and eventually more hair growth. While many Laser Parlors Victims realize laser hair removal is a hoax many are still under the guise of the companies. We at Boston Electrolysis® seriously urge all victims of this charade to start looking for a state licensed and registered electrologist immediately who practice electrolysis exclusively.

Unfortunately, many physicians are out of touch with reality and the suffering of having an unwanted hair problems made worse by laser hair removal treatments performed by Laser Operators with no more than 50 hours of training.

In addition. broadband intense pulsed light has become a highly suspicious medical procedure hidden by unethical physicians. In addition stubborn Docs with their minions of deceit and treachury never mention that Laser Hair Removal machines emit harmful Ultraviolet-Radiation that can cause cancer plus, “Unwanted Paradoxical Hypertrichosis.” My patients claim an increased proportion of patients that have suspiciously reported what they believed to be a large increase in unwanted hair growth after having temporary laser hair treatments that cause, “Paradoxical Hypertrichosis.”

Nonetheless laser parlors owned by Laser Parlor Chains brazenly defy lawful FDA advertising laws and statutes that bar Laser Parlors from claiming “Permanent Hair Removal”, “Painless Hair Removal” and advertising they do electrolysis using bait switch advertising tactics. Nonetheless the laser Parlors spend more time trying to impress consumers when in reality their training program is not more than 50 hours total. However, the laser school they attended entire curriculum is a hoax. It’s totally Unethical for Laser Parlor Chains to lie like a cheap rug. After you arrive they change the subject and say they only do temporary laser hair removal and a mistake in use of text were they use electrolysis. Theyre hoping you will fall for their scam that hides the truth when they do not perform electrolysis in any form or manner period. All the while, Previous laser epilation treatments resulted in increased facial and body hair growth. We sought to review the predominance and high proportion and features of this contradictory effect. But the unethical owners cover up the truth and in reality and that’s why those Laser Hair Growth Baseball Caps actually stimulate new hair Growth…

To this very day laser parlor manufactures of laser machines have steadfastly refused to do a double blind study to prove whether or not laser hair removal works and is 100% safe. For 24 years Laser Operators claim they have got the red laser, yellow laser, blue laser, green laser, white lasers and even the Yag Laser however the best they can do is to turn their the lasers on low so their clients do not screech in pain and end up with third degree burns. In the end Laser Operators say, “The Laser does not work on white hairs, grey hair, blonde hairs and transparent hairs.”

Laser epilator manufacturers claim to have completed single center studies that included all patients who underwent laser hair removal from 2218 to 2022. All or most cases of laser induced unwanted hair problems were assessed clinically by history; examination and hair growth were caused by long-pulsed alexandrite laser epilation. Nevertheless none of this information has been made public. In addition their study never included one or a group quality educated state licensed and registered Electrologists to a render a single professional opinion.

Some doctors reluctantly state, “Laser Induced Paradoxical Hypertrichosis clinical features of patients with post-laser AKA Paradoxical Hypertrichosis were compared with 50 patients randomly selected from among all those who had undergone laser hair removal at their center.”

It’s my belief that certain unethical physicians claimed the results of 489 patients, without being specific and providing photographs of their post treatment laser patients. In addition they did not admit to a complete and independent double blind study. In essence it’s a whole bunch of over the top hoopla also known as misleading propaganda without any substantial study. They did state and pointed their finger at the long-pulsed “Alexandrite Laser and reported increased hair growth after laser hair epilation.” There is a longstanding a trend for this adverse effect to occur in all skin types plus they never mention the other. However as electrologist I have observed thick black hair from patients that have had intense hair growth of 75% of the face including the neck. However the laser parlor physician as compared with the unaffected comparison group has not been made available for the public at large… However a small number of laser parlor operators did not provide sufficient power to effectively test factors such as age, sex, treatment settings, and number of treatments statistically.

As the crow flies laser parlor physicians need to have a verifiable double blind study of at least 1500 women that have had laser hair removal that resulted in Paradoxical Laser Hypertrichosis. I have seen six cases in a mere three months that have resulted in Paradoxical Hypertrichosis where women have developed a very heavy beard just like a man.

In essence if you have laser hair removal treatment than you should have the laser parlor operator attach a rider to your laser hair removal contract that requires the responsible party to pay for your electrolysis treatments should you come down with, Acute Paradoxical Hypertrichosis with a large increase of  unwanted hair growth.

Boston Electrolysis® Review the History of the Electrolysis Industry

Electrologists alone have been granted the right by the FDA to legally claim Permanent Hair Removal while the laser hair removal fails in all categories. Our field is fully professional, a medical discipline in fact, and the reason for the virulent opposition to a state board here is the fact that many in the business would be out of work after failing the sort of examinations real Electrologists must pass to be licensed. These hold-outs would prefer 50-hour training they can breeze through, usually in weeks instead of years, ultimately at the expense of their patients. The Electrolysis-Electrology profession has, since its inception, undergone extremely close scrutiny by FDA, AMA, Underwriters Laboratories and every State Board of Electrologists. Our equipment is F.D.A. approved, tested by Underwriters Laboratories and U.P.E.M.A. (United Professional Epilators Manufacturers Association). That’s why Electrologists have the sole right to advertise “Permanent Hair Removal.”

To work closely with physicians regarding endocrinology, electrolysis, and micro eye-surgery for Trichiasis. I also work with epileptic patients who use medications such Dilantin, a drug which causes extreme hair problems in women and men. I try to see if it is possible to work with the Neurologist, possibly changing the medications to an alternate drug that does not create a hair problem, making the treatments shorter for the patient.
